This scratches an itch I've had for 7 years now. I saw Gary do this routine in 2011 at a championship of some sort, and I have never forgotten it. Gary had the charisma and creativity to make a routine entertaining and fun, and not the typical cookie-cutter routines. To this day, I'll sometime do the "I'm your man" pose for my wife, just to crack her up. Gary, you're THE man!
This is my favorite skating performance ever! This performance was the first time I saw it too years ago and I never forgot it! I am glad there are so many performances of it to see! Keep on skating Gary you are the best!
Gary - you are the one that introduced me to Leonard Cohen. Forever grateful!! Not to mention how amazing your skating is!! LOVE LOVE LOVE everything about this performance.
OMG, this is what skating should.be, wow, woow, and more.wow, my wife dances with her coach, it is impressive, i like to think i do something new, i call it freedance, half way between freestyle and dance, i just go out warm myself up and on a good day, a very very good day, i free dance, it is a feeling i cant describe, im on fire, im in sync with the ice, i can dance!! Watching you just makes me want more, more.pure pure dance, not coreographed free dance. Thank you for your time amd efforts to give other people this state of mind.
Thanks to Lee my friend from Canada i saw this performance and just love it!! This man is an amazing ice dancer and i like that he can do whatever he wants with humor. Amazing!
