Just discovered him through his channel, have a huge smile on my face as I watch him enjoy his movement! He’s like the Fred Astaire of figure skating!! ❤❤❤
Always loved this program! I remember seeing this on TV back in the day. Me and my mom put a story to the routine of a man goofing off while waiting for his girlfriend to come.
Also love the audience truly understanding the how of Gary's routine. Standing ovation. Remains one of my favourites. Seven years later, thank you, ballinagra13; thank you very much for posting.
It's called "Song of Songs", from a 1970's jazz album by a combo called "Soprano Summit." The music by this group is influenced by Sidney Bechet and the jazz of the 1920's and 1930's, so if you like the music from "Boardwalk Empire", you should check it out. The album is out of print (so is the CD release, apparently) but you can get it on later albums at Amazon.com.
hes the Pavarotti of skating and magical , edges outstanding, positioning and control, just fantastic and NO COACH AND.............a standing O, OH and the blue tie goes perfectly with the shirt THE KING OF THE EDGE keeps you ON edge, what a genius.
@HattieLovesCattie.... who cares? The man can skate! And $600,000+ seemed a ridiculous amount to pay the US. He was fighting as he felt it wasn't the correct amount. And don't most US tax payers feel the same way? You betcha!
Gary Beacom is the Salvadore Dali of figure skating and the judges just didn't get it.

Very underrated skater. I was always mesmerized by all of the skating programs he’s done.
No need to perform an endless row of jumps and still the best. And what a theatrical masterpiece! Pure art ❤️
