I remember when watching iceskating wasn’t just about the points scored. When footwork was so beautiful to watch and performance was premiere. I wish these spectacular performances could reoccur in some way in today’s point scoring. But, I am old. I watched these two with my mother. Those were wonderful times.

I watched these 'specials' on TV: TV way back then used to show all kinds of figure skating (competitions and 'Stars on Ice', etc). ; now you're lucky if you can find them on Peacock or TH-cam. I wrote to them (tv stations) and they said there was no interest!
My two favorite male skaters. So much talent, skill, humor, and charm. There have been many skilled skaters but none with the charm and interpretation of these two. And to see them interact with one another is a bonus treat. ❤

I've never seen this video before, what a gift. These are my two favorite male ice skaters. They were never the best jumpers, but man could they entertain. The foot work, fast difficult and filled with energy. This is a fabulous Duo ❤️👏👍 what a treat. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Canadian Kurt Browning, the first person to complete a quadruple jump, landed a quad toe loop at the 1988 World Championships in Budapest. I'd say that's pretty good jumping but you're right that they had the footwork and the best and most entertaining performances.
I'm just love seeing these 2 skating whether its in competition or it was Stars on Ice. Kurt and Scott were performers not just skaters. You can see by watching them how much they enjoyed.What they did even when they were competing. Watching these two together is magic on ice. I missed those days my mom and I used to watch figure skating every week free could and it's one of the last memories I have with mom before dementia/Alzheimer's took her.
2 GOATS..back then it was about artistry and footwork now it's just about jumps, I miss the old days when it was figure skating and not jump skating, I think it changed when they stopped doing figures.
I remember taking my granddaughter to see Madagascar, and when this song started, she immediately jumped up and started dancing. The little girl in front of us did the same thing. Sometimes you just can't contain it.
