I was born in Rome. Left when I was 3 for Florida with my parents of course. Most of my family is still there and my heart belongs to Rome. I love visiting and most that live there that complain they want to leave well, it's not always greener on the other side. I love the history, the landscape, the seasonal change and the people from Rome. Our private cemetery that I take care of across the street from Model High School behind the church is something I cherish and take pride in. I go there quite often and I gotta say, of the smaller towns/cities in Georgia, y'all have done a decent job of maintaining the place. A lot of smaller locations in Georgia(the sort of spots I'm more interested in) definitely have not done well at all. If I had to pick a town in Georgia to move to tomorrow, it'd probably be Rome.
