Thanks once again for taking the time to share your knowledge with us. 12:00 That's such a simple, but great idea. I've made little peel open windows in the masking before to get a good look for color matching, or doing ghost flames, but for some dumb reason I've never thought to just bring in a hand held spray out. 16:11 Must be planning to upholster the hinges? 16:59 Thanks for that one. Never knew about that. Straight out the booth you can tell it's gonna look beautiful once it's cut and buffed.
Hi, I watched you all the way through which is unusual for me, thank you for showing how you did this body. After 1 year ago, can we see the finished work with engine wheels glass and on the road outside please?
Wow thats awesome man! This guy knows exactly what he is doing and does it well!! If you ever do seminars or teach people sign me up! this is coming from an experienced paint and body tech of 30 years.
This seems to be a great video packed with great information. Unfortunately for me, I can’t hear you in the booth. Even CC does not pick up many of your words. I subscribed anyway. Phillip Hall
So after watching this and countless other videos, candy isn't necessarily difficult to paint, just tedious. Literally the embodiment of "the product is in the prep" Got a 1950 desoto I'll be doing this to
Perfect example of "When to use Voice Over".
However, Paint job was fantastic!

do you have to shoot a coat of DBC500 with out any candy before you mask everything for door jams ? so tape residue wont stick to the candy ?
I've been painting long enough to know everyone has there own way of spraying candy colors
looks great! appreciate the info about your entire process!

thank you for sharing such experience
The candy looks awesome, but that silver caught my eye and I hate silver cars usually
Personally I would have left the firewall silver

looks awesome nice work
I really enjoyed watching that ….! 🤜🤛
Slick way to masking!
Great video
So much wind noise it was impossible to make out what you were saying in the booth. A voice over for those parts would be great. Title is misleading.
Also nothing misleading in the title. That’s the process of spraying candy paint
@@stax6057 i thought he was going to melt down jolly ranchers and spray the car, and I was like that’s how you get ants bro
@@Lovesausage269 lmao do you want ants?!? Cause that’s how you get ants. Archer is my shit
Nice job mate ✌️
Can you also sand the candy with 800 if it has dirt?
Do you sell blooks and paint cars? Or just sell blooks?
Thank you
How long do you wait before masking on the base coat?
I gotta say man i think you’re better than Chip Foose when it comes to body work and paint and Chip is damn good.

Too much background noise to hear you. Thanx for trying.😢
👍✌️
what a shame could hardly hear you, I really wanted to know it all...
Is it easier to spray candy in basecoat than in a 2k clear
What?
For me basecoat candy is easier to apply then uk candy.
Talking in a spray booth with the fan running????? Not smart
Your videos would be ace if we actually see some spraying mate
You must be candy base coat and not a true urethane candy
Most of the comments and questions are a year old with Zero responses. I will never sub here.
Dude, turn the damn fans off for your commentary PLEASE. It is so hard to understand WTF you are saying.
I thumb down u didn't show how spray candy frfr 😡
There is a lot of Orange Peel on that Paint job
I would be pissed
You have no idea WTF you're talking about.
You should tutn that damn FAN off when you talking to us. Barrly can hear what youre saying
Imagine posting a video about the spraying process of candy the "correct way" and not showing the spraying, or the process.
You just paused the video at the one second mark and typed away, huh?
