Great job. Love the kindness to your children as well. You and the family are going to have great memories with your boat. Good luck on the fishing. TIGHT LINES ALWAYS
I love the way you did the decks with storage underneath. I can’t wait to see you do lighting. Your boat with the decks is the best looking & most functional pond boat I’ve seen yet. There’s only one thing I would suggest & that’s to treat all the wood, water on the floor especially would destroy all your great work. If I missed you treating it, I apologize. Thanks for posting!
Even though I'm not a casting deck guy, I really like what you did with the storage box in the back. I think you gave me an idea for my 8' Quest Angler. It'll give me something to kneel on, to lower and raise my trolling motor. I have balance issues sometimes and I think that's my answer. Thanks!
Love the idea, but you might wanna get some marine plywood. MDF does not hold up well to water. Take a scrap piece of MDF seal it like you did the platform and drop it in a container filled with water.
Good stuff 👌, what did you attach the wheels to? thats awesome I've had my 8ft boat for 23 years and dragging around that many years I got leaks Thanks for any info
I used all threa washers and nuts. Under the 2x4 I fixed the all tread to the board then used a washer on the inside the washer lock nut at washer on the outside.
Thanks for this video. I wanted to ask. Have you taken you Pond Prowler out on the river. I live near a river and will be on the river. My higher end inflatable raft cannot go up stream only down. I need a boat that can go both ways. Please let me know.
Thank you for warching! I take mine out on the Colorado River. I use my 30lbs trolling motor up front and it gets me around about 3mph up current. And I have my 3 hp outboard if needed. It's also super stable.

I love it! Simple without trying to do everything. Serves an intended purpose and does it quite well. Pretty good stuff, my mechanical friend!
Thanks! It does the job and I love it. Thanks for watching!

Awesome diy deck! I have a prowler 8, and love it. Customizing them is so much fun!

Thanks for the info. I will update the material as soon as I get some funds. I just got was available for my budget.
Sub # 80 awesome content keep at it my ninja.
Heck yes! Appreciate you my ninja!
Great video. How did you attach the wheels to the wood cart you move the boat with?
I just got one for free that a guy threw out at the dump. Perfect for pulling up my catfish trot lines

TRD Love!!!!! 🤘
Looks good, looks like MDF though, which is basically super thick cardboard, won't do so well with water...
It worked out great. Just had to make sure I was aware of how much water touched it and it was always kept indoors.

Bro, is that partical board? You know what happens to partical board when it gets wet? It turns to mush.
It's MDF and I sealed it. I know it's not what I really need. But that was in the budget. Best thing when I upgrade I have a templet.
I completely stole your concept on my 8 ft sportsman the extra 2 feet would have been great
All good. Glad it's helping people out.
