Been playing for 3 years (5 years if included the first Gbo game in ps3) for those of you who hates microtransaction, let me tell you, this game is fucking generous. The best free to play game in financial fairness so to speak. Daily mission gives you 3 token. Total 90 per month (thats 30 pull) + daily login gives you about 6-8 token per month + clan mission gives you another 6 per month if you complete all of them + everytime clan levelled up you get 1 token (my clan is fucking crazy, level up every 3-4 days) + monthly mission gives you 18 token per month, thats like more than 120 token per month. But wait, THERES MORE!! special event gives you special mission to get new MS, and free gacha pull (when they go crazy, they can give you 40 free pull). They even have free gacha pull and free token for newcomer. So you dont need to worry about finding MS to play. They give you plenty. And no energy bullshit to play a match. If you want you can play 24 hour, non stop matching. So yeah, this game is fair. Good or Rare MS can only go so far, your skill n teammate matters most. Good luck n have fun mates, Zieg Zion!!
When i first started i thought all the most powerful mechs would be a grind to get. I didn't really give it a chance again until after Evolution came out. Now maybe Christmas was the right time to check it out but i played for a day and have like 20 mech already. They're extremely affordable with the in-game earned currency.
I wish this was the game they’re pushing. It’s “slower” than evolution but it feels like Gundam with the weapons and options you have access to per suit.

as a diehard gundam fan this game was like a dream come true-ish for semi realistic gundam game. i hope if the PC ver ever gets release people would try this out. Although i can already hear a lot of complains about how the controls feels clunky at first

As a member of one of the top GBO2 Clans in the west. It makes me happy to know that there are more people like you making content about GBO2 and bringing more people. Especially if they are guides for the game. The last one I saw was from Flailthrougs, and it was like 3 years ago. I hope your video gets picked by the algorithm and more people come to play and understand this game. Mostly because I saw some B+ players that don't even know/care about the type triangle, or try to play this game as a not cooperative one.
This game is a best experience ever for who loves GUNDAM will get till now, the sensation of be a pilot is similar as in the anime in terms of customization on visuals and abilities, upgrades, parts... You choose which best set for the battle and stuff... and then, you feel like a mechanic in the end, its funny but enjoyable. Idk how but bandai made a balanced af gacha pvp game I've replaced my free time with this over WoT and WT for a long while had to recently ditch my ps cause PC life calls but am so hopeful for the future and seeing this game on pc Your editing, presentation, and scripting in this video is top notch! Clear concise and brief! Definitely going to share this to friends who didnt get to try the pc test. 1 minor nitpick though for 99% of population this wont ever happen but 1 person can indeed carry an entire team. Generally they may do it in a widely regarded meta suit but it would be done against equally as regarded meta suits. Some people actually do feel like newtypes. This is a rarity though and most of them have been jp esports scene players.
Always nice to see new players to GBO2, as I have been playing the game since its Western release and was playing the Breaker games before that. It is one of those games that can range from very fun to incredibly frustrating. Personally though, have enjoyed its slower tactical pace to the high speed PvP of Evo.
As a GBO2 Vet, Evo is like Barhopping in Florida. GBO2 is a Hellscape *but* sometimes you get the W Bro the amount of C rank players that somehow are in A is making me wanna throw games just to rank down to B
the hazel custom was my first ever gunpla and has a special place in my heart. to see it in all its glory in this game makes me happy. not to mention its probably the only game it is in?
I've been playing this for over a year or so now and, while I do enjoy it, it gets REALLY frustrating when a match gets REALLY one sided, especially when you get players who have evidently spent a lot of time mastering raid suits and approach you with their melee weapons out already.
So right now GBO2 had been release on pc recently. I'm kinda confuse at first on what am I going to do in game. and then I stumble upon this video. It's helping me to understand more about GBO2. feels like for those who want to start playing GBO2 at least watch this video first.
i only played during steam beta and i love it, the suits feel more mobile suit like, with weight.and more variety in suit, i hope it release in pc much sooner.
Been playing GBO2 since it first came out for the west, it’s a very fun game with some friends so you can meme around, I would say that there is like a slight amount of latency for the game but it is tolerable until you see a person teleporting, either way it’s very fun
what concerns me is honestly how much life left is in this game since ps5 is out now unless it will get continued support on there. It's supposed to be ported to pc, but it could be dead within a year of release

One of the main problems I have with the game is that there are so many tryhards who only play tacticool jegans or Unicorn Gundams whilst I just want to play the funny aquatic Zeon Suits in casual and I can't because they rush me with duel wield beam spears and stunlock my Juaggu to death. It's also fun only going in the Oggos in space but I don't blame them for shooting me out of the sky there since I've only really got myself to blame for that.
if it weren't for stupid AT&T wifi being stuck on NAT type 3 i'd play this so much. maybe things will change once it gets on steam. atleast i got bosses and ai to fight though so meh.

I've played off and on for a while and I love and hate this game. Matches can very easily swing one way hard but I find it most fun a tense when it's an even match. It had quite a learning curve and for a good bit I didn't even know there were tutorial mission so I just kinda hopped into play and learned as I went. Then I did the tutorials and still felt confused. I actually got under 3 minutes for one of the battle simulators which I was so hyped for because that by seconds. I tilt and rage a lot and I much as I hate I love it.
«Queueing may take a while» yeah, but the playerbase is still bigger than Gundam Evolution. In Evo, I’ve sat for an hour on ps4 EU/US server and found no games at early evening EU time
If I can get my PS5 from back home here in Canada, I would definitely play again GBO2. I've played GBO2 since the beginning but currently is unable to play since my PS5 is way back home in the Philippines and I am unable to play the game. Would be very elated to play this game again if given the chance. This game is enjoyable even way back in GBO1 during the PS3 days and GBO Next was also a blast, but that gameplay is almost close to the Extreme VS-like gameplay but with MORE players. Either way, you can have fun and not worry about sweating in the game unlike Evolution where trust me... as much as I want to enjoy Evolution, I can't seem to enjoy it a lot unlike GBO2.
I'd love to play Gundam Battle Operation 2... I just don't have a console to play it on. So I'm stuck waiting for Bamco to get their thumbs out of their collective asses and actually work on the GBO2 PC port.
Ahhh yes the GBO2. Also called Stun Lock the game....that's without talking about the multiple "failed matchmaking" every 2 minutes and the really toxic player base. Custom match are just grinding match (A kill B) and the way you get matched with other people is by rating not by player lvl. So you join a D rating match but even if you are a Private second class (Lvl1) you get put against Colonel(Lvl12) player. It's super fair.
Best Gundam game out, it's free Cheating is almost non-existent and is heavily restricted. It's on PC now. You can easily earn suits by earning tokens for playing by completing missions.
Battle operation 2 is casual game that's why it on console while evolution is aiming for competitive play that most suited on PC But we will have evolution on playstation soon
I've been playing GBO2 since day 1 release and I play it at least an hour every day. I love the more tactical pace it has. Not a fan of the VS pace which is ZOOM ZOOM PEW PEW PEW, aka what the Gundam SEED anime was. I was pretty disappointed with Evolution because every MS was so "limited." I guess what they did works since they were going for an Overwatch type of game but for me who is a Gundam addict who knows a lot about all the MS, it was disappointing. GBO2 does a waaaaaay better job at representing how each MS was in the fluff. Except for the Zudah, I still want a way for it to explode when you use too much boost. hahaha Anyways, great job covering the important stuff in GBO2!
You can get units from training, through finding containers after matches, and gacha. And during some events they give free pulls for a guaranteed mobile suit. But gacha is the main way to get suits.
@@undying1177 when you get duplicate, it converts to recycle ticket, then you can shop in the recycle shop. The recycle shop list reset everyday. So yes, in a way, you can exchange your duplicate to other items (ms, weapon or parts)

As a Gundam fan who is enjoying Evolution right now it sometimes feels either a bit too subdued and/or just too blatantly Overwatch adjacent than a Gundam feeling game
I definitely feel that. When I started, even with all the issues it had, Evolution kinda didn't sit right with me. I will revisit but right now GBO2 is just way too much fun.
my issue with Evolution is that its an overwatch clone first, and a gundam game second, they give suits things that never existed for the sake of making the game like overwatch, such as the bounce pad, or the armor gun. where the reason i want to play these games is because i want that GUNDAM feel, GBO2 is my game.
I really, really, REALLY wish I could play this game again, but Bamco seems to really want us to forget that they're supposed to be giving us a PC port.
I love GBO2, I mainly play the Gouf Custom and Zeong. Just... There's one thing I hate in this game, the Red Rider. It's always those players who are incredibly toxic or annoying.
While the concept and everything feels nice, I don't know if it will be popular enough in steam. Game is a little bit on the old side, I wish they make gbo3 or something. But hey, if it's the only available gundam game that actually have other player to play with without worrying about the constant lifeline support since who know when they will kill the game with only 1k player in it (I'm looking at you gunevo) then I'm all in.

One big issue holding this game back is the connection. Getting a penalty because the game decides to drop you sucks
More often than not, the game will let you know that you're not being penalized if you dc from connection. So it has that over Evo.

even counterstrike is faster, its more you need to master understanding YOUR limit and assuming everyone is better equipped then you.

It's good! The only issue is the connection. Hard to do combos when it constantly lags the connection. Other than that I would love to do more.

my issue with Evolution is that its an overwatch clone first, and a gundam game second, they give suits things that never existed for the sake of making the game like overwatch, such as the bounce pad, or the armor gun.
where the reason i want to play these games is because i want that GUNDAM feel, GBO2 is my game.

I love GBO2, I mainly play the Gouf Custom and Zeong. Just... There's one thing I hate in this game, the Red Rider. It's always those players who are incredibly toxic or annoying.
While the concept and everything feels nice, I don't know if it will be popular enough in steam. Game is a little bit on the old side, I wish they make gbo3 or something. But hey, if it's the only available gundam game that actually have other player to play with without worrying about the constant lifeline support since who know when they will kill the game with only 1k player in it (I'm looking at you gunevo) then I'm all in.

This game is awesome not going to lie and even going to evolution I just prefer hoarding three Gundam games at time and also to be honest all three of these games sd Gundam battle alliance good I'm evolution and Gundam battle operation 2 are my favorite games so far
