    Its definitely the weight and the tyres that make it difficult pedalling.. I also found that level ONE assist was pretty much useless to me, but if you go into the sub menus you can adjust the power or wattage given to each level of assist. I just upped mine slightly on level one making better for quick access up hills without going through the different levels, but careful of the jolt as you set off. ENJOY, im loving mine.

    80 miles is a long way, kind of impressive. Probably $40 in fuel if you drove a pickup truck instead.

    It would be nice to know where the location is as with most comments it's hard to know if you are in an EU country where the speed limit is set I think at 15.5 miles an hour, and if so does your E bike comply with these regulations for road use.

    Is your one-way clutch in your hub loud? The clicking on mine is louder than the tire noise on the road.

    Have you encountered any hills where you had to get off and use walk mode ??

    • @MrHtech
      @MrHtech  8 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      To be honest I would only do that if I was going on a long distance trip and I wanted to save battery as the hill would use up more battery from the bike with it requiring more power, if I was going on a normal bike ride and it was a big Hill I can just ride up with the throttle or pedal assist no issues.

      The P2 menu option is for setting the battery voltage protection. The default code is 1212, but if that's not working, then I consider the code has been changed.
      I recommend resetting the EP-2 Pro to factory settings (press and hold the + and - buttons together for 10 seconds).
      Once the EP-2 Pro has reset, try entering the P2 menu again and see if the default code works (I hope so).

    do you know whats the range with just throtle?

    • @MrHtech
      @MrHtech  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not exactly because it depends on lots of stuff like terrain, uphill , speed level etc and if it’s constant throttle it will use energy faster.
      Probably a quarter of the max distance displayed for only throttle

    usually these chinese fat tire cheap bikes fall apart in 3 months of regular daily riding. if its doing well after 1000km on the odo with no major failures let us know. i guessed you would likely have made it since their range estimate/2 is the real range estimate. i believe they have a set target for 100 hours before failure engineered into them. 1000/100=10 euros per hour. not bad.

    • @MrHtech
      @MrHtech  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeh I figured it has to be at least half, however I think I maybe could have done another 5km before it stopped .. putting it around 55-60km , a lighter rider also would of extended the range and also less uphills would of extended range. There’s many factors 👌🏼
      I’ll see how far I go with it , but it was impressive

      If you can get 80 percent of what the best bike on the market has then it is worth it. Checks the boxes. I would rather buy another car than a surron class bike.

      It’s like that with every electric bike brand, even electric car brands they will give the max mileage estimate based on perfect conditions to make the bike/car more appealing , if I rode on a perfectly flat terrain the whole time I could probably get 80-100km but life’s not that easy haha
