I don’t understand the right handle bar shifter. Is that just when your riding the bike without power. Or do you have to shift gears with that and the right bar speed 1-5 at the same time.
@@Harry-fe9ec you can choose the shifter without battery like a normal bike or with battery assistance. Or just use the throttle on its own and not pedal.
Excellent bike for the money.owned mine for 2 trouble free years and covered 1000 miles with my Terrier on the back.. fitted a lower geared 1st gear .. pumped tyre sealant into the inner tubes and made up some mud flaps ..also fitted an underside guard from the crank to above the key the crap and moisture out .. another tip is to stick ( sacrificial) insulation tape around the folding joint ..keeps the contact points dry between controller and battery and easy to remove. Highly recommended

I just ordered one, will be my first dive into real e-bikes I cant wait. I was going to go for the 1000-1200w motor models but the price for what you get with this model specifically right now appeared to me to be the best for what I wanted.
I think orange very nice color. I was confused about few things during assembly like whether or not to use the front wheel axle that was already attached. The instructions are very small print with poor pictures. That said it is very good looking bike and they even include tool kit in the box.
Should fit into a boot of a saloon. Keep in mind the weight of the bike (30kg). For the back seat you might struggle. The bike has huge tyres and the frame is much bigger in person. Folded Size: 99cm width 55cm depth 76cm height

I live in EU I got the 750w, it’s no difference the engine still says 750w on the motor even if you get the throttled version. I just limit mine to 25km/h , detached and inactivated the throttle , and emailed Engwe for the certificate. Basically it’s the same bike with a certification you can receive with either version ( if I understood everything correctly)

Could u do a full demo of the easiest technique to fold it and the best way to manoeuvre it around when it's folded. You have to fold Ur bike to get on the train between 1630-1830 at the entry barriers. So you need to roll the bike to the bike carriage of the train. I just wanted a demo of that please?
Huhuhu! Mine was stolen in the parking area two week after I bought😭 The thief bring the cutter to cut my expensive lock and stole my bike, chain and helmet. It happened here in Sweden around 16:45 Sunday February 2024. We suspected that they are group roaming around to stole ebike or elscooter. I wonder how can they carry if they don’t have a car or a van because the key is in me.
Not a specific IP rating listed but does mention it’s water resistant. My guess like many PEVs is that it’s around IP54. Ok in light rain. But what I would simply do is cover the point where the bike folds with cling film so water cannot trickle into the battery compartment. I also purchased the EP-2 Pro EU version, but I accidentally changed a number of program settings so that I can no longer get the pedal assist. In the past, this did well, but not anymore. In addition, I no longer get the bike in its factory setting. Who can tell me per program setting (01P - 19P) on which setting to do this to get the bike in its original state?
It means the connection between the controller and screen is not right. I would start check all connections like the quick release connectors first. Of course if you don’t feel confident, bring it an experienced person.

You should able to on the p-settings menu. UPDATE: I searched many places online to see if it can be deactivated but no luck. I never took notice because it doesn’t enable when you pedal, which is what always done.

You handlebar stem doesn't sit straight either, my wife's xmas pressie this year, built it last week, but can't line the bars straight and have the quick release pointing forwards. Great bike when unlocked, but the bars are too narrow for me 😂
Handlebars are straight. The quick release is not meant to be in the middle as you can see from the video. As I mention, attach the handlebars first then align everything. The handlebars I think are actually the perfect width for a bike of this size, plenty of stability.

@@Movelectrics i have a different menu. To mine you can see choices from p1 to p19. i cant go into the secret menu with i+-. To change the speed and throttle i have to hold + button for 15 seconds and its chaning but the battery goes down super fast and max 28kmh
Hey! if you could do me a solid I would appreciate it. I got an engwe ep 2 pro, and the folding latch is not working properly . I can see that it’s something to do with the nub ( small metal spring loaded thingy ). I can clearly see that it’s adjustable due to it being able to be screwed on. But I’m unable to find any tool that can do this, my Allen wrenches is not doing the job. Do you know what tools is necessary?

hi mate i live in an apartment and will need to take it up the stairs every day i’m not the strongest of people would it be easier to carry if i took the battery out and carried it that way
@@TadasCool I’m assuming you don’t have it on level zero? If so, try level 1. Higher the level, faster you go whether pedalling or using acceleration only.
From what I remember, I think there are 2 cross head screws holding it in. But the battery in general ain’t meant to be removed unless your replacing it.

Can inattach a bike trailer to back as had different bike and think the weight caused frame to crack other side of the bracket where it folds

Yeah you get the tools etc with the bike. A bag you don’t get but sometimes they throw in these ‘gifts’ in local stores for you to buy.

Never saw anyone do a tubeless conversion on such big wheels. Are you maintaining pressure to 20psi? Did you check the tyre/rim for sharp edges?

The brakes won't be as good as they can be if you don't take time to bed them in from new, basic stuff.
Absolutely. After a few KMs they are much better. Semi-hydraulic brakes would be possible to for I’d say on this. Xtech brakes.
