    Nice to see an e-bike review and the reviewer actually using the pedals and not just showing how fast it can go using the throttle.

    Any issues with the police from this bike? Given that the motor is above the 250 watt limit in the uk, I’m concerned about the legality of the bike. Even though it comes restricted.

    We purchased this Vivi 27.5” electric bike and a Tentaquil 26” electric bike for our 13 and 14 year olds. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ The Vivi was much easier to put together. With the Vivi, there was a video link to assist with assembly which made the process easier to follow (we did put the handlebars on upside down, but it was a quick and easy fix). With the Tentaquil, the assembly was not as simple to follow, but after we messaged the company for an assembly video, it was easier and they did respond quickly. The other major differences were that the Vivi has a grip throttle on the right handle (like a motorcycle) and the Tentaquil has a push throttle that you use your thumb to activate. The monitors were also different, so if you’re looking for something specific in terms of changing the bikes functions, pay attention to what the monitor offers. We were really impressed with the overall quality and functionality of both bikes, but if you’re looking for more power and an easier assembly, definitely go with the Vivi!

    • @JudeTheYoutubePoopersubscribe
      @JudeTheYoutubePoopersubscribe ปีที่แล้ว

      @@wufler28 you can buy them. Just a shame they had to remove the 750w option. I really wish UK ebike laws would be updated as 250w and 15.5mph is useless. If they allowed 20mph and 750w it would be so much better.

  • @GunnyWombat
    @GunnyWombat ปีที่แล้ว +2

    750watt motors are illegal on the road in the UK. I hope you have insurance, registered the vehicle for for tax as if you get caught you're looking at points on your drivers license. 15mph pedal assistance and 250W are the limit.

      I was going to buy this bike until I heard of the 250w restriction, and if caught they do you for no MOT, No Tax, No insurance, no registration, and riding a motor vehicle on bike paths. Its hundreds of pounds in fines, 8 points on licence and they will seize the bike and cost you another 300 to get it back. not worth it so I'm gong with their C20 Pro which is nearly the same but with a 250w motor.

    Using cable brakes are such a bad design decision for a normal bike considering such a small cost difference, never mind an electric bike travelling a lot faster. The difference is night and day in my eyes, I dont know why they dont just use them on all bikes.

    Nice. But the braking is not adequate for the weight and speeds of this bike. Where you're fairly light, if I was on this bike, would mean a total rider + bike weight around 140-150kg depending on what I'm carrying. And mechanical disc brakes are not strong enough to stop that quickly, even in non emergency situations. You really have to plan your braking.
    Also, not a fan of the cruise control or the fact you can delimit it in the settings.
    But I see the appeal of E-Bikes, but we don't have enough regulations or enforcement to keep cyclists and pedestrians safe.
