- Just a small video of me opening the box containing the utterly over-produced but lovely deluxe collectors edition of Sub Terra. Please not I did not include any pricing information about this game since I believe the price I paid at Essen Spiel´17 does not correspond to the price kickstarter backers paid.

Thanx to Jonatan who faithfully joined me for a first playthrough. :) We basically got our asses handed to us, but it was fun. Its a good game and would be absolutely enjoyable even in the regular release of the game. - บันเทิง

In the past I’ve seen people complaining that games don’t need miniatures because they are purely aesthetic and add to the cost of a game. It’s interesting to see a game come with miniatures as an upgrade option. It seems to be a relatively recent trend. I don’t really have a strong opinion about it - I like the idea that a game would be presented according to a designer’s vision but this is not always relevant in the world of board games because often a designer doesn’t have a strong vision for the aesthetics- that can be left to publishers and artists.

Indeed! Had they not insisted on including all the boxes for the individual expansions, this could have been half the size!
Great video. Can you post here the size and weight of the collectors' edition box? I can't find this anywhere....
46x15,5x30,5 cm, sadly I don't have any facility to weigh the box but I'd say its roughly 4kg.

Why didn't my box come with the minis?
It is possible that the Deluxe I bought at Essen came with some configuration of add-ons that were only avaliable at certain pledge levels in the kickstarter.
As I did not know of the game at the time it was on Kickstarter, this is only a guess, however.
Are you saying the horror minis didnt come in the box?
Yes, they were apparently a kickstarter goal that was added in during the last few weeks of the campaign. Either that or the minis were finished after the entire package was already bundled and wrapped, since they came in a separate plastic bag that was just rubber-banded to the big box.
@@ottarkraemer9001 Thats upsetting. I brought the deluxe edition with my boyfriend and it had mentioned the minis are with it. But no mention of the horrors. Damm.
@@lastresort554 As I said, It might have been some sort of special deal. My horrors came WITH the box rather than IN it. I bought my copy of the game at Essen Spiel back in the day when this was released.

Samma höga svårighetsgrad som Pandemic om inte värre. Väldigt taktiskt och kräver bra teamwork från drag ett för att man skall ha en chans. Bra produktion. Ett spel som kommer att hamna på bordet rätt ofta.
