Glad it's back as alton needs more high capacity flat rides and it's fits the area perfectly. Waiting till next year for nemesis to reopen before visiting again

I agree, the bit after the second lift is a little disappointing. They revamped it and it's not as intense anymore. It was a bit or a scare maze previously with rabid actors and air cannons, as part of the decontamination... which reminds me, Ripsaw always used to say 'decontamination sequence complete' at the end of the ride!

That was mine and my mates take from the ride; we just was really disappointed with the new end section. Hope they give it some more attention from feedback. Other than that, its a fun little experience.

Gotta say I think there’s a reason it closed for a while. I went on it with a friend years ago who got so scared he was hanging onto me for dear life, like hiding behind me head buried into my back scared. Not sure if that tainted my experience of the ride but I never really enjoyed it. First time through it’s good but there’s little reride value but don’t wait any more than 30 minutes for it.

When I went on it I was holding on to my dad for dear life I only opened my eyes for five seconds to see the other egg but it did terrify me it was also short which bumed me and my dad out

The finale to the ride use to be great a full on mini scare maze

It was average back in day and while the story and theme are great you lose the suspension of disbelief during the long loading process and often get moved around as the can't close the safety bar. The lift back up is great fun though

I went on this yesterday I have to say there wasn't much of a que for the high summer season in any rides I walked straight onto it if I'd of spent hours or longer than I did to wait for it I'd of been even more disappointed the leg ticklers were intense as I had shorts on but I didn't get prodded in the back it missed me 😂😂

Yeah, hopefully, when alton Towers hires more acters in the next few weeks and months and changes, and hopefully, breakdowns get fixed and get better in the next few days my favourite dark ride in the park 😍
