It feels reminiscent of the aloe and jelly drinks in Japan, and I assume other Asian countries. (There are probably experts who know better but I think it is a texture thing.) I think you could be on to something that it is a product meant to mimic boba/tapioca pearl drinks but in a way that would be cheaper and easier to produce for a European market.

I think that could possibly be used as an ingredient in a mocktail or a cocktail but even then there must be better options than that. XD I miss the Sprite with added mint to it come to think of it. It was refreshing when chilled with ice.

For me the cycle goes like this: "Ooh, purple soda! Have I tried this? Let's buy it!", find it pretty decent but too sweet, finish it and decide not to buy it again, time passes, I forget about it, eventually... "Ooh, purple soda, have I tried this?" Rinse and repeat

Huh I guess they nailed the flavour then. I also guess that is might have been easier to mimic a sweet candy? Over all though, the "Spirit of Sweden" line of sodas....were they named that way because the spirit of the drinker leaves their bodies? (It's the general impression I get when watching someone drink them. That have tastebuds and aren't high.)

I know we ask this for almost every taste testing video, but who approves these flavours!? Did no one in upper management taste this?? I mean most novelty/limited edition things aren't meant to be consumed more than once but this one feels like people would not even do that, they'd ask for their money back.
