Checked out their Greenwich, CT location and bought a safari jacket after wanting one for years. The employee I worked with was a great guy and proved to be knowledgeable about style and clothing history (which I appreciated), and when I left and discovered my car battery had died and no one on the street would help me out with a Jumpstart, another employee from the shop came to my rescue. Definitely plan on buying from them again.
Really saddened that they had to raise their prices. They used to be affordable but now I can’t afford their stuff, except maybe a tie or something small. I’ve ordered a few custom made suits from them, back when it wasn’t more than $600. 😢
Somewhat same here, I will still buy them, but once in a while. However, everything has either gotten worse in terms of quality, so if I had to choose, it would be inflation rather than just making worse products. Some advice, you can find some used, but, when you can afford it, get a polo and some chinos, you'll still look better than most people. I wish you luck man, and I hope your situation improves. We will get through this.
@@mickeyauau This was back a few years ago, it was good fabric, with wool pants and a jacket for $600 in the custom made program. No, it doesn't, but that is what is expected for custom made.
@@mickeyauau Lol Suitsupply was cheaper believe it or not. I ordered two custom made suits last Fall. I think each one was under $600. Now the fabrics weren’t their ultra premium ones, so it was like either “pure wool” or super 110. Still, a total bargain. I ended up returning them because I didn’t like the design I made, but yeh, it used to be totally possible to customize a suit for under $600. Those same fabrics are now like 700-800 last I checked.
That cashmere long sleeve Polo! Absolutely gorgeous, as is that wool overcoat towards the end. I have never considered this brand, but this exquisitely made capolavoro of a video has convinced me to look beyond my typical Daks, RL, BB and Boss go to options for that sort of thing. Most importantly however, while there will always be things here I would never wear myself, I do overall prefer this more understated classic looks to the over night, here today, gone domani fashion trends. Side note, this brand's color scheme seems very Japanese inspired, maybe I've been watching too much Forza style channel?! I don't know, just a quick observation. Anyways keep up the good work sir. Buon Natale! Best regards, TGV
Advice for a wedding tuxedo from them for the modest man? I would love to hear your thoughts! Color, shawl vs peak, etc. I'm looking into Suitsupply and would love your input!
I'd definitely get a tux from Suitsupply. As far as details go, it's really up to you. I'd go with either peak or shawl lapels (medium or wide, unless you're very slim). Black or a very dark midnight navy would work well. I kind of like the dark navy tux with black accents (black lapels and trim). I also like grosgrain vs. satin, but that's just preference. For the pants, I'd say skip the strip down the side...looks dated to me. Go with a bow tie and cumberbund to finish it off. Polished black Oxfords or velvet slippers if you want to ball out!
I’ve also got rid of 90% of my clothes that did not fit ! Working to build a new wardrobe even if it takes two years !! Clothes will be of good quality, that will last fit properly .
Really enjoyed this one Brock. Some great looks and choices here. Just recently had a very enjoyable visit to the Vigo St store in London ( big thanks to John there ) I don't think you can beat their quality at the price point. Keep up the good work.
great quality video. i find the ames drawstring trousers and the sweater with shoes are competing in a color-wise manner with the trousers. i think it saturates the image a bit. im thinking about a yellow/green dark tone sweater instead
Hi there, I have a question for you. Does the unpadded shoulder look good for a guy on the slimmer side? Doesn't it make the build even slimmer? Thanks.
I'm guest at a wedding what should I wear 1- Grey blazzer+ black pant + black shirt 2- Grey blazzer+Grey pant+black shirt 3- All black 4- or some other options
Hi Brock, any plan to feature Monkey boots on the channel. I have searched them and only couple reviews out there. Wanna see your opinion on them. Cheers 🎄
Hey! I just want to know what is expected price range on one of those suit and pants or basic one I've been wanting one for a while, so I know what to expect on the bill xD Thank you!
There's three in London and you can order online. The prices are basically the same amount as in Euros or Dollars but it's still better than the alternatives.
One point on the overcoat - while cashmere overcoats feel really nice to the hand, they're not as warm as wool overcoats. They're more suited to transitional sesons than for seriously cold winters.
Hi Brock, I just discovered your channel and I'm quite surprised with how good you look for your height. I am 5'4" tall and quite skinny. I don't have a complex about my height but I do worry about dressing well and enhancing my figure. I live in the Dominican Republic and I usually buy clothes online that I think fit me (XS or S) and nothing :'( Either it's poor quality clothes or it's too big for me. I would like to know if you can give me advice on which clothing brands look best (shirts, pants, blazers, suits) on men of my height. I would be eternally grateful, also a new subscriber. Regards.
Here's a not too favorable experience. I have ordered two trousers and one jacket from Suit Supply, each about a year apart. So, I've given them three separate chances. Their online designer is great, lots of options, which is good because I am fussy. Now for the negatives: #1. The website does not accept your personal body measurements. They only want you to measure an existing jacket, and enter those sizes. What if you don't have a perfectly fitting jacket? The point of custom is that not only are there options for style, but also that it is properly fitted. It is unfathomable why they don't take actual body measurements. #2. The construction quality is so-so. Both trousers I ordered, while looking okay from the outside, have poor quality construction inside. Lining is roughly cut. Neither trouser has a crotch shield (which is something even cheap off-the-rack trousers do have) - and in one of them, they didn't put a button hole. #3. The jacket I ordered - I went with white lining, as I think it's quite elegant. However, the lining is so thin, that you can see all the construction through it, and the internal pocket facings and so on are all uneven and messy. I have an off-the-rack jacket which has half the cost, also has white lining, but the quality of the lining is so much more luxurious, and the construction is perfect.. In addition I ordered outside pockets without flaps - but they have positioned the pockets far too high for that style. So, three separate orders, each a year apart, and all three exhibit poor quality choices by their cutters/tailors, questionable construction quality - and the measment system is really, really unsuitable.
I really like most of the clothes in this video! Just remeber, suitsupply clothing is readily available used these days. They’re seriously good value then. If you buy them new, they are nice, but the prices have increased recently. Peace!
I find their materials are a bit bland for the high price. Was dissapointed visiting the Montreal branch. Was prepared to splurge around 800+ for a suit but they didn't have anything interesting in stock. They've become popular and have business no matter what, so there's no reason to compete as much on price or quality.
@@BrockMcGoff Yeah I get you. It's one of those things where to the outside observer the shoes don't look expensive. Edit: Found another Suede sneakers from your Express video that are $100 less, though I like the designs of these better.

Suitsupply easily is better then all brands you mentioned. Honestly there is no comparison
Thanks for the in depth video. Also heard good things about them but never visited a physical store. Now I am planning to visit one
I had no idea there was a Suit Supply so close to home I'll have to keep that in mind. Great video!
Nice. There's one in Houston where I live. Definitely will check em out.
I think your grey overcoat was standout ! :D
Great choices
Heck yea! Glad to see this partnership come to fruition - what’s your opinion on the build quality of the vest?
Thanks! The vest is really nice. Definitely dressier than my J.Crew Factor Walker Vest, but it's also warmer since it's real down.

I checked the the first trouser on their site but the short version is 32 inseam? That's too long for me and the rise of the pants seems a little tall

Don’t wear all black or a black shirt. Unless it’s a formal wedding, don’t wear a black suit. Grey suit w/ white shirt and a tie always works.

They don't seem to have any technical materials or stretch fits ?
That’s not really their brand.

So what kind of metal did he use?
interesting how the gillet has become a neutral staple in mens "casual" wadrobe. i still see it as tech guy outfit

Totally depends on what fabrics you choose. Starts at $650.
What watch are you wearing? I can See its white and dressy ?
That would be the Nomos Minimatic 😉
Heyyy scottsdale gang!!
Is the tailoring an extra fee? If so how much is it?
Depends on what you get done. Some things, like hemming suit pants, are included. More complicated alterations cost extra.
If you go custom the alterings are free
