Thank you so much for taking a deeper look at this particular brand. I've been curious about Pini Parma ever since Hugo Jacomet mentioned them on different occasions on Sartorial Talks and always wondered whether they are really as good as he claimed. With your trustworthy opinion backing that, I don't believe that I've any excuses left for not checking them out. Greetings from Germany!
I just got two pairs of flannel trousers, nice cut, great fabric, their sizing tips and explanations are excellent, and the ordering was extremely simple and shipping was amazingly quick. I'll definitely order from them again, great value and service, and nice designs.
Glad to see this review up... PiniParma has by far one of the best aesthetics and highest quality look-books for RTW menswear out there today. I'm constantly inspired by their styles, and hope to see them grow to a more accessible brand in the US.
Hi Brian! Love your content! This brand looks amazing. But, I have to point out that for people in Europe the price difference between Pini Parma and Suitsupply is substantial. The cheapest suits in Suitsupply go for 299€ and the ones in Pini Parma are around 650€. Now, of course you could argue that the quality of the fabrics...in the Pini Parma suits are equivalent to the more expensive collections offered by Suitsupply, but, anyway, anybody looking for a entry level suit that is not fused with natural fabrics that won't break the bank, Suitsupply is the better choice. Thanks again for your amazing videos!
I can't tell you how happy I am to hear about this! Those gurkha-like trousers are perfect (I tailor my slacks with a 7in hem) I've been looking for a Suit Supply alternative with Neapolitan features, so this is a dream come true. You're the best, Brian!
In my opinion, I've seen you put together a better selection pieces and these aren't for me yet, but then again I'm just starting my sartorial journey and I don't have the eye for it right now. But i will say you have a knack for putting looks together. Good Job as always helping me elevating my style.
Great video. Brian I just wanna say you are light years better than the other fashion channels on TH-cam. Your style is flawless, classy yet simple. Keep it up! Cheers!
Came here initially for the watches. Stayed for the clothing and style tips with the help of HSS. Just an average Joe trying to up his style game. Great content and thanks HSS!
I just received my first suit from Pini Parma. I can’t believe how well it fits. Best kept secret in the sartorial world. Thanks for this review. Reason why I purchased in the first place.
Pini Parma, they sure have some fantastic stuff. Recently ordered for a third time from them. Just note that their most interesting clothing often runs out of stock quite fast so be quick when the next summer stock comes in. I also think that their summer line up has so far been a bit more interesting than their winter line up, which could relate to their partly southern Italian heritage. Be careful when ordering pants with more than one pleat (more than one can make it look bulky, particularly if the fabric is flannel). I especially like Pini Parma for their trousers though, while I think Suit Supply still makes some fantastic (sport) jackets.
Wow...thank you. It's funny how you can search for videos for such a long time and then the algorithm seems to just hand you one that completely nails what you have been searching for. So impressed with your content and demeanor.
Thanks for a clear answer. I thought it would be click baiting like 99.9% of your youtube colleagues, but you answered your question. Great. Good work. Cheers from Frankfurt am Main, Germany! Keep up the good work!
Just ordered and received a linen pants and two coton shirts from Pini Parma. perfect fit, great linen material , even better than Lucas Faloni. The fit of the shirts is just perfect. Great Customers service. Thanks for this review .
I live in a hot area. The weather is 30C or above 85F atm. In the summer, it’s >100F everyday... so I ordered a custom mid grey unlined fresco from Drago
Thanks Brian! I'm a big Suitsupply fan but much of their styling can push for everything ULTRA slim, which I have fallen victim to at times. At 6'1" 205 I can't always fit into their products, especially their shirting. I saw you mention Pini Parma in other videos so it's great that you highlighted the brand for us as well as some of their products.
@@hespokestyle no they actually are helpful at the ones I've been to with that and haven't pushed me towards them. It's just generally their fits tend to be slim. Their shirting I mean is either "Slim" or "Extra Slim". You will get more moderate cuts in some of their attire but far and few. All of their sportscoats are Havana fit which are fine for me but sometimes can be slim. With all that being said I believe that SuSu make great trousers but Pini Parma is on my radar now.
Hey Brian great content as usual, also nice to hear Pimi gets the HSS seal of approval! I just started looking into Boggi and found their stuff to be very stylish, I can say the same for Pimi from what I've seen so far. The more casual shirts look great even in the larger size btw.
Just received my first blazer and trousers from Pini Parma. I’m ordering another jacket, several trousers and accessories this weekend. Btw, they will do your alterations prior to shipping which is a huge bonus for jackets with working buttons on the sleeves.
Finally a fashion TH-camr that wears a real watch! I just started watching some of these fashion videos from others and they are heavy into Daniel Wellington. Though to take them seriously. Glad I found somebody who appreciates that a watch is more than just an accessory! Well done on Vacheron.
I mean, you wore the Rolex with the pinstripes, but it wasn’t some bulky dive watch. Simple datejust. Great call. That Vacheron is fantastic. And the explorer with the more casual outfit. You get it!
I still don't understand the fad about men's watches. Especially those bulky tacky 'garde temps' which protrude on the way of the sleeve. Luxe TV in France is now all about men's watches. The pretentious story-telling of the "Swiss made" firms is quite fun to hear. I only wear a Fred Force 10. If I really need a watch, the Seiko I bought in my student years or my classic steel Tank does the trick.
Awesome video as always! Everyone seems to rate this brand high and now you confirm it’s good. I’ve looked a few times on their website and I’m gonna act on a navy flannel double breasted jacket as an early Christmas present. About the comp with SS, yeah they are a little fashion forward in rtw form but what nobody talks about is their excellent mtm service. I’ve done 2 suits, one neapolitan inspired with natural spalla camicia shoulders, 3 roll 2, barchetta pochet, unlined etc. And a Tom Ford inspired one with wide curved peak lapels, roped shoulders, low buttoning point, milanese buttonhole etc. Just to test out the extremes. The level of customisation you get is imho unparalleled and the cost was around 650 euros for each
Thank you for introducing me to this brand. I love their craftsmanship and attention to detail. I will say though, I ordered the Taupe Flannel pants from the Soragna collection and they didn’t come in the same color from the one shown in the video or the photos via their website. I did reach out to them and they did say that the batch going this year was different than last year. I was little disappointed, but it is still a nice addition to the collection.
The suit really comes together with that flannel tie. Love the deep dimple on it, really adds a nice touch. That said the shirts are too baggy on you. As a slender guy myself, I can relate. I can't wear most of my shirts without a jacket on top
I have the blue / brown jacket from Pini Parma. I love it. The material is luxurious and the fit is amazing. The only "problem" I have with them is that most of the items I want are not in stock.
dblvision It happens. Not as quickly as some, but one of the reasons they sell out is that they’re not made in huge quantities. This helps with quality.
I m a big fan of both of these brands and I have many articles from both. So I can say that Pini Parma is greatly superior. Suit supply is manufactured in China whereas Pini Parma is manufactured in Italy. The price is different too but IMO Pini Parma is the best RTW brand on the market right now : my 4 blazers et 1 suit fit perfectly.
Hi Brian, very nice presentation indeed. I am european and a fashion designer, so the style is something engrained in me. Upon reviewing the collection on Piti Parma website I couldn't help but notice that a lot if not most of their items are sold out, which is not necessarily a bad thing of course but something to consider for the costumers and whether they're intending to replace the items or substitute them with the upcoming collection is still unknown. The other thing is that any given item on the website has only one photo, front shot. I wrote them in customer reviews that a few shots of the item from profile and back at least if not multi-angled shots would be tremendously helpful in assessing the item and assisting in decision making process of a possible purchase. Also, the enlarge option on the item doesn't work since it goes to a dark screen. Since it is online the details of the fit matter to put the customer " in the dressing room" so to speak. It would be nice if they had you review the collection and all the pieces in it as they come up. Keep it up! Great job!
Thanks for the comment, Gigi. Well, Pini Parma is a smaller brand so it is not surprising that they sell out. They make smaller quantities so when they're gone, they're gone. Not a huge behemoth like a Suitsupply or Boggi.
I love all the suits you wore in this video man! I have seen a lots of youtubers talk so much about suit supply but I could never associate myself with their style of clothing. This brand resonates with me so much.
@@hespokestyle I first heard about Pini Parma through Hugo Jacomet and I was seriously considering purchasing some clothes from them. Thanks for doing the extensive review. I see similarities with Luca Faloni in terms of their business model and approach.
Just bought a peach stripped linen shirt from them.I took a look around their website and all the pieces looked amazing.Thank you for sharing your experience!
That gray chalk strips combo look is gorgeous on you. You sold me on the company and I hope they grow ten-fold. I don't have a suit, but when I buy I will refer your look. Thanks!
Hugo on Sartorial Talks did a video a while back on a few RTW and MTM brands that he recommended and Pini was one of them, as was walker slater. I have a tweed suit from Walker Slater and it's perfect for RTW, so you are the second person who has given Pini and thumbs up! I love the beige trousers in your video and will be looking to order them today if I have time. Pini is one of those new'ish companies that are under the radar but are just knocking it out of the park, to use a baseball analogy! Great video, love this format!
Great video, I got a blazer and two trousers earlier this fall. The fit is great and the fabrics are really standout. Will definitely be ordering from Pini Parma again.
Julian Johnson theyre not fashion shirts or meant to be super fitted. I did mention that I believe I took a size too large. Would be interested to see the body of a smaller size.
@@Ryezn5057 a classic shirt fit is made for comfort under a jacket, wearing a shirt sans jacket is relatively modern, so the question to ask you is, did the shirt look comical when worn with a jacket?
Everything looks really high quality, especially the coat! The only thing i didn't really like was the fit of the suit jacket, it looks a bit boxy around the waist and don't you feel the button stance is a bit high? Nevertheless great overview of the brand, it's so nice that you've been uploading more videos recently. Cheers!
Gerasimos Moschonas I don’t feel button stance is too high. Maybe it’s a little higher than my usual jackets but the thing you should pay attention to is that there is no shirt peeking out below the button. I also don’t think it’s boxy. It’s not cut as slim or trendy as suitsupply
I would agree (on the suit looking a bit straight, not "boxy"), but so much of it comes down to taste. I prefer a little more nipping at the waist, myself (not tight so much as giving a more classic silhouette with a v-shape), but it all depends. I find suit supply fits me quite nicely, not too tight, my concern with Pini Parma though is sizing. I noticed that their size 48 seems to be equivalent to size 38 US, would you say you're general suit size is 38? I ask since I generally take a size 40 US, though based on my height age and weight they suggest a size 48 (38 US).
A high button stance can be a blessing as it allows for a nice skirt, something you will only notice when the jacket is being worn instead of statically modeled like in the video. You're seeing a "boxy" fit because it's a half canvas and not cut super close if it were a full canvas it would allow a more lively skirt and accentuate the nip in the waist. It may also be the blending of the more Northern Italian cut and a southern Italian construction so soft but not cut with enough shape to really accentuate the waist.
Stumbled upon this channel from the EDC video and instantly subscribed! Love your content, especially those with you trying on different styles. Btw I would love to see a video on belts if you can make one :)
Have purchased online. Quick shipping and good product I must say. But had to wait for the polo shirt I wanted to be back in stock. Probably took 2 months. Just ordered one shirt as a try out. Will order again as the stuff is high quality
@@aget19 yeah bro, obviously no one's gonna care about purchasing a polo shirt online. We're talking about spending thousands on quality suits and making sure they fit perfectly so obviously buying online and not being able to try and feel things is a massive concern. You're over here arguing how it's no problem buying online with your polo shirt buying experience 😂😂. 🤡
I could have used this video a few weeks ago when I bought my suit from suit supply! Just kidding, I like what I got - double-breasted dark grey flannel suit. Thanks for the video though! I'll be sure to check out Pini!
I agree it's an outstanding suit and quality, BUT we should note that suit supply and pini parma are different price brackets. A pini parma suit will be double the price of a suit supply suit.
I think Pini Parma is just a little bit more expensive than Suitsupply. I hear that Pini Parma has more interesting fabrics to choose from. That's probably the biggest difference. Suitsupply is full of decent fabrics, but not many catch my eye. I like my trousers from Suitsupply, but I'm interested in trying Pini Parma.
Always had some issues with the fit of the suitsupply trousers. Going to check out Pini Parma! Thanks for this recommendation and very well put together video! High quality as expected from you!
The shirts are too big. The suit looks great on you. I do own the same denim shirt and a flannel trouser from Pini. Next on my list is the beige knitted jacket cardigan. Take care.
Brian, thanks for your honest feedback. I love that you always keep an eye out for niche quality. Really liked the suit's fit, it flatters you a lot. Rare to find high rise pants off the rack; SuitSupply offers only a very limited amount of those, so points for Pini. Though all the extra back fabric of the shirts does bug me. I suspect sending them back/refunding would be complicated or pricy for you as a US costumer. Do you consider having them tailored? Funny enough, I own a suit virtually identical to that pinstriped one and indeed, it's not that easy to not have it look overpowering! I very much valued your styling inspo here. Favourite piece of all things Pini would be that knitted turtleneck. It captures your casual sophistication so well, and that's what I'm admiring you for. Keep on with all your great work. Love from Germany.
Good stuff. Thanks for the video. Would have been helpful to know what better means: materials, construction, sartorial details, fit, etc. Also I'd be interested in the differences in fit between the equivalent sizes. My main concern with Pini is the relative limit of sizes, especially in the "short" range. Really enjoy your stuff. Appreciate your efforts on making a quality channel.
- #early!! - the outfits you put together are super awesome! - the individual pieces look high quality on the video itself! i would own every of those items if i had the chance! - the only thing that i would like to point out otherwise is that the shirts were just too roomy. they had the balloon effect at the back when tucked in. if they were short, they might look better untucked, but i know that's not your style. having a well-tailored jacket will hide the not so great fit of the shirts!
@@hespokestyle I see, that makes sense. I'm used to seeing you in slimmer cut shirts, so this was kinda far from that. The only times I think your shirts aren't as slim as your tailored shirts is when you buy OTR shirts (often times, those that are more casual, i.e. Uniqlo OCBD etc.) Cheers, Brian!
Hey Brian, I received the beige wool/cashmere turtleneck and can verify the quality of the sweater. Very soft and highly recommended!. One apology on my part is that I meant to click on your referral link when I bought but unfortunately forgot when it was time. For future items, I'll be sure to order through your links if able! Cheers, Dan
Informative video, might have to try them out. For MTM, I've had Oliverwicks but somehow there are not consistent with the tailoring. One suit they would be spot on,next one would have shoulder rolls or sleeves would have symmetry issues this without changing the previous measurements. It's like for first time customers they would put their best tailors and subsequent orders trainees would take over. They do have an excellent customer service.
I've heard a lot of great things about Pini Parma. Unfortunately, their sizing is limited for most Americans at the moment. I'm a big guy. I'd have to go to Pini's store in Paris for their MTM.
I had no idea you were 5ft 9inches tall. I always thought you were taller. I'm the same height and weight. So now I will watch even more videos for style. Watched your stuff for years tho
I follow them on IG but it's good to see them in video format on TH-cam. The suit looks more like a Pinstripe than a Chalk Stripe IMO. I'll give them a look, great job!

Thanks!
It is a french brand of italian style clothes. You can see it in the terms and conditions pages.
Simon Moses really appreciate that comment, Simon. Glad you enjoyed the video!
Great video, I got a blazer and two trousers earlier this fall. The fit is great and the fabrics are really standout. Will definitely be ordering from Pini Parma again.
Liam Gandelsman nice! Good to hear. Thanks for chiming in.
Good stuff! Thanks for sharing. I'm digging the trousers. Your last outfit is begging for a saxophone.
J thanks so much! Appreciate the comment. I’ll have to incorporate the sax at some point.
Once again, great content.
Zuker Gill thanks so much, Zuker!
I appreciate the effort you put into your channel, its a pleasure to watch. I'll be placing my order at PP this week. Well done.
Michael Dismukes very cool. And you’re welcome. Thank you for the support.
@@hespokestyle Also, I referenced He Spoke Style in my chat with PP. Hope that's cool.
Pini Parma *is* a French company, it's incorporated in Paris. Thomas Pini is French-Italian, hence the "crossover".
Cheers. Thanks for chiming in.
The lapel on the Grey Chalkstripe is perfect width!
those shirts are huge. Kinda pricey for something that will need to be taken in.
Julian Johnson theyre not fashion shirts or meant to be super fitted. I did mention that I believe I took a size too large. Would be interested to see the body of a smaller size.
Believe or not Julian this is a much more standard fit for a dress shirt, far from huge.
Sebastian Flynn exactly. I am wearing the classic fit. Slim fit may have been better for me.
yeah I thought so as well. Doesn't this much room in the back look comical? I'm genuinely curious.
@@Ryezn5057 a classic shirt fit is made for comfort under a jacket, wearing a shirt sans jacket is relatively modern, so the question to ask you is, did the shirt look comical when worn with a jacket?
Good job.....your appraisal is always fair....but then again you are a gentleman.....peace and love to all
Thanks so much for the kind words, Kenneth. Cheers.
I really like this kind of video. Good job
Love pini Parma! Thank you
I liked the casual outfit you had on at the start, looked great Brian.
Thanks! Here's a link to the shirt I have on: bit.ly/33QLQ9z
I guess it's just a little different than what we' re used to seeing you wearing. Keep up the good work!
I’m sorry but in my opinion the button stance is too high. Otherwise it looks like a great brand. Still love my SuitSupply though!
I’m waiting for the "GREY PRINCE OF WALES WITH YELLOW GLEN CHECK SUIT" to become available. Love your reviews, Sir! Look forward to my first purchase.
Stumbled upon this channel from the EDC video and instantly subscribed! Love your content, especially those with you trying on different styles. Btw I would love to see a video on belts if you can make one :)
Awesome! Glad to have you!
I check them out and EVERYTHING is "Out of Stock" ...
lol same here
The problem is that they don't have many options to choose from.
I'm sceptical about the online purchasing.
Very good review, well done.
Many thanks. Appreciate the comment.
I could have used this video a few weeks ago when I bought my suit from suit supply! Just kidding, I like what I got - double-breasted dark grey flannel suit. Thanks for the video though! I'll be sure to check out Pini!
Justin Nguonly haha. Well, glad that you found this one. Appreciate the comment.
Great selection of clothing sir... I thought the coat, t-neck, and badge-trousers looked amazing thanks again for a super video Brian
Gerry Gallagher you’re very welcome, Gerry. Always appreciate the comments and support.
I agree it's an outstanding suit and quality, BUT we should note that suit supply and pini parma are different price brackets. A pini parma suit will be double the price of a suit supply suit.
They’re about the same price tbh
Yeah really not that different when you compare similar fabrics
I think Pini Parma is just a little bit more expensive than Suitsupply. I hear that Pini Parma has more interesting fabrics to choose from. That's probably the biggest difference. Suitsupply is full of decent fabrics, but not many catch my eye. I like my trousers from Suitsupply, but I'm interested in trying Pini Parma.
Always had some issues with the fit of the suitsupply trousers. Going to check out Pini Parma! Thanks for this recommendation and very well put together video! High quality as expected from you!
One of my biggest beefs with Suitsupply clothing--the trousers. They just don't fit right. Pini Parma, on the other hand, is just fantastic.
I really love your taste in clothing , you have inspired me so much
Thank you sir 🌹
Many thanks, Jaffar! Happy to do so. Thanks, as always, for the continued support.
The shirts are too big. The suit looks great on you. I do own the same denim shirt and a flannel trouser from Pini. Next on my list is the beige knitted jacket cardigan. Take care.
Edwin M. Nice! I should point out that I have the classic fit shirt, not slim fit. Definitely should have gone with the slim fit.
The high cut rolled wide lapells are very nice.
Nice outfits. Time to save up
Do it! And thanks for chiming in.
I like all the pieces!
Booker's Rebirth what’s not to love, right?!
Many thanks for the very thoughtful comment. I think sizing down might have some effect.
Also, the shirt is actually a standard fit and not a slim fit, which they also offer. I probably would have better luck with the slim fit.
@@hespokestyle Oh, I see. That's good to know!
Love the combinations 😎
Thanks for sharing! I'm in Paris so I think I'll go check them out :)
Brian Wright you have to! Report back re the in-store experience.
- #early!!
- the outfits you put together are super awesome!
- the individual pieces look high quality on the video itself! i would own every of those items if i had the chance!
- the only thing that i would like to point out otherwise is that the shirts were just too roomy. they had the balloon effect at the back when tucked in. if they were short, they might look better untucked, but i know that's not your style. having a well-tailored jacket will hide the not so great fit of the shirts!
qarhsi thanks, as always, for chiming in! Appreciate the continued support.
@@hespokestyle thank you for the great videos as well!!
@@qarhsi The shirt is actually a standard fit and not a slim fit, which they also offer. I probably would have better luck with the slim fit.
@@hespokestyle I see, that makes sense. I'm used to seeing you in slimmer cut shirts, so this was kinda far from that. The only times I think your shirts aren't as slim as your tailored shirts is when you buy OTR shirts (often times, those that are more casual, i.e. Uniqlo OCBD etc.)
Cheers, Brian!
Amazing Review. Cheers.
Top one! thanks He Spoke style , great outfits all the way around
Cheers, Dan
Excellent video! Thank you for that :)
Can you please do a review of Grand Le Mar?
Shirts looked classic.
5 minutes into your video and i like👍👍👍
just went on their website, those suits looks amazing. and im new to the world of suits.
It's half canvas, so not the best construction. But other then that it looks really nice.
I've heard a lot of great things about Pini Parma. Unfortunately, their sizing is limited for most Americans at the moment. I'm a big guy. I'd have to go to Pini's store in Paris for their MTM.
Booker's Rebirth you might want to try the chat on the website. They may be able to do MTO for you.
@@hespokestyle Thanks. I'll try that. I hadn't thought of that.
I had no idea you were 5ft 9inches tall. I always thought you were taller. I'm the same height and weight. So now I will watch even more videos for style. Watched your stuff for years tho
Thanks, excellent video.
I follow them on IG but it's good to see them in video format on TH-cam. The suit looks more like a Pinstripe than a Chalk Stripe IMO. I'll give them a look, great job!
Thanks for the comment.
