I know there is more to it than just football but how Yugoslavia would have performed in 92/94 and 98 is something we can only ever imagine. Players like Suker, Savicevic, Mijatovic, Mihailovic, Jugovic, Prosinecki, Boban, Boksic, Pancev were all products of that Yugoslav youth system that won the World Youth Cup in Chile in 1987. They would have been unbelievable as a force in world football. Croatia is only a part of what might have been.

Growing up in Lima, Peru. I still remember his name, golden boot in France 98. Really thought Croatia should have been second place.
