Anyone who tried what Pavard did knows how hard this is, everything needs to be perfect, the angle and the power, but even then, 9 times out of 10 that volley goes nowhere near the goal. This is sensational, the kind of goal you remember the rest of your life because the feeling of getting it right is that great.

I don’t think he was aiming to hit it like that, it more so became the result of him trying to volley it.
Pavard's goal was probably one of the best goals in the century, accurately kicked to hit the "deuxième poteau" with nearly impossible angle + it went so smooth. Astonishing!

No it wasn't. I'm Argentinian and we played an awful game. We scored 3 because one was a casual bounce, one poor defense by France and one because Di María had to prove PSG he deserved to be a starter. Argentina went to this WC without a half decent goalie: after Caballero made a fool of himself vs. Croatia, he was replaced by Armani, an even worse goalie they were trying to sell to a big European club... after being a spectator in France's four goals, his stock fell drastically.
