That uncle is ripped! No wonder he looks young. Lifting those carrot cake for years make him really fit.
Heartwarming from a father & daughter dynamic duo. Their carrot cake is tasty and affordable. Good to see innovation too with new flavours. Will definitely go back again.
Ehhhhh, tried this carrot cake before, its really good. Favourite food from teck ghee market.
Kudos to them both. A conscientious, supportive father and a loving creative daughter. Hopefully Claire continues to create new flavours to differentiate herself from the competition!
Love the way she smiles
I am touched by the father's sincerity and perseverence.
How great this father it's, hopefully dad will always healthy and support daughter all the time.
The father always dots on his daughter...so loving, and good genes
Me and my parents own a shop. Whereas mom handles in the shop, me and dad always go to supplier to buy pur items. We are also mistakenly as couple but told them politely that we are father and daughter. Because whenever we are at supplier i have more words than him bec my dad is not that socializing person but he is very kind. They saw us in great tandem in getting our supplies.
I can see myself to this lady. Having such a supportive dad is every daughter' dream and i am proud to say i love my dad ❤ their business is going to be more flourished. 👍👍👍
Wow.Good father.So hardworking.The daughter also good.

Thanks for sharing the hard work that goes behind these humble and common foods ... This will make me appreciate these food and Hawkers a lot more 😊... the contents of this channel always puts a smile on my face ... good jobs 👍👍😊
Glad to see younger people being so supportive of the hawker businesses
Usually they cant make it in the real world and singaporeans like this have no choice but to help out at their parents tiny little stall, when others ask them why do they want to sweat it out in a tiny stall selling street food, those singaporeans would give all kinds of excuses such as they geniunely want to help their parents, or they will say its their passion and calling or they will say they are sick of the coporate world
Not just 5 star... ur dad is a superstar!
It lots of hard work for to be very good cook healthy foods I love them all thank you for sharing your love for your family thank you for sharing Bless you all have a good day thank you

They seem very proud of what they do.
Food made with love is always good❤️
Great fatherly love
That looks so yummy!
I love that stuff! I never saw steamers like that, what a quantity. Here we usually get this just cut into slices and fried, it's really delicious! I was surprised to see what looked like a conventional food-processor there, I almost think I might try this for myself, using one pan in one steamer. It will still be a lot for one person! Enjoyed this video, the people seemed nice.
10/10 dad and Daughter
I really want to try some carrot cake now!
So heartwarming

"This recipe is one of the popular dishes most tourists will find at the hawker food stalls in Singapore. I call it Singapore Hawker Style Fried Radish Cake but in Singapore, the locals named this recipe "Fried Carrot Cake" even though carrots are never used as ingredients in this dish." I found it on Internet and l think someone need this information
Because in the Chinese language, radish and carrot uses almost the same characters.
Carrots are '胡萝卜'(radish of external land) or '红萝卜'(red radish) while radishes are '萝卜'.
I don't know the history but perhaps along the way the wrong translation stuck and radish cakes became carrot cakes.
you guys are so cute
What an inspiring family! Most of the older generations think that way, but if all the younger ones head into other businesses, who will be left to make our carrot cakes / traditional food? Kudos to the daughter for insisting on carrying on the business!
Great attitude.
Going tomorrow for carrot cake!!
Your videos are amazing. Short and sweet with such good production quality. Honestly thought initially this was some sort of government initiative lol
As in your video series about Sg history through food.
Did they think of Mala Carrot cake? XD it’s near my house should go and support them !

Radish in chinese is 白萝卜 and it loosely translates to white carrot. It's one of those lost in translation thing that just stuck around.
@@yang7245 oh. Lobak putih (White) lah.. Because the actual carrot we call it lobak merah (Red). So it is lobak cake, without actually saying it is white or red lobak. I understand. Thanks.
