I have crohns disease… learned this from a nurse after having bowel surgery. if you have those “poison pain” sessions, get a towel and roll it up, then fold it in half, wedge it between your belly and your thighs. The pressure against your lower belly can help with the pain and give you something to focus on. (Also, peppermint tea will help ALOT with any kind of digestive pains).

I broke my ankle last Friday (fri 6th) and had to stay in hospital for a week (came home fri 16th). You guys put a smile on my face and made me laugh daily and I appreciate you guys so much!! I go back to hospital tomorrow for x-rays to check I still don't need surgery and also to put a new cast on. Also still have to have dialysis through all this.
