Open sesame is a magic phrase. It symbolizes how a sesame seed opens up. It's from Ali Baba and is an integral part of the story. At some point Ali Baba's brother uses the word to break into the cave. Once inside, the cave closes behind you and you need to say "open sesame" to get back out. Ali Baba's brother, in his delirium over all the treasure he stole, forgets the exact phrase and starts shouting out random grains to open the cave. He never remembers "sesame" and dies in the cave. The "says me" comes from a Popeye cartoon that adapts the story.
11:05 The fan switch for summer and winter is true. Summer mode pulls air from the sides, forces it down the centre creating breeze you can feel and should be used with cooling aircon. Winter mode sucks air up the middle and forces it down the walls creating a breeze you can’t feel unless you touch your walls and should be used when your heat is on to spread the heat through the room faster. Using a the it can reduce your heating bill by 20-30% 😉
"Open sesame" (French: Sésame, ouvre-toi; Arabic: افتح يا سمسم) is a magical phrase in the story of "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves" in Antoine Galland's version of One Thousand and One Nights. It opens the mouth of a cave in which forty thieves have hidden a treasure. sorry james but there ain't no "open says me".

In case anyone was wondering. It's a German-switzerland company given an English name for mass marketing. The Capri Sun drink is actually a German juice product that is sold in the US under the business name Capri Sun Group Holding. The company is privately held by Hans-Peter Wild. These little drink pouches have been around since 1969, and they were originally named for the Italian island of Capri. So James is in fact wrong. 🤷🏾♀️ ...if you actually care that much
The fan thing IS (kinda) TRUE, James! It spins the fans in opposite directions. Look how the fan blades have a twist in them. If the fan spins one way, the blades scoop the air from the top downward. Since hot air rises, it pushes the hot air downward. This is good for areas that are dry heat. The other direction scoops the cool air from below and pushes it upward to cool the air up top. This is for areas with humid heat.
Thank you. Cause I paused the video when James yelled "thats a lie"???? I was like WTF... doesn't everyone know that??? LOLOLOL Sry, just one of the old "stinky" people who love to watch your show!! 🤣🤣🤣💖💖💖💜💜💜
When it comes to the seasonings, you don't turn it completely upside down and shake up and down. You turn it at about a 30° angle and shake side to side. This is so the flakes don't clog the hole. It works for salt, pepper and every other seasoning jar. If you do it the way the show in the video you'll over season your food.
The fan one is true; it changes the fan's direction, which helps keep the room warmer or cooler; my mom has been making me change it every season since I was little.
Capri Sun is actually named after the Italian island Capri and since Orange was the first flavor they added the Sun. It used to be sold hyphenated but they took the hyphen out🤓
Fun fact about gorillas. however far the sound from their chest carries when they hit it, is how big their territory is. the sound carries pretty far. we can’t hear it bc we’re humans but other gorillas can hear it. basically the area that the sound carries across is their territory
Capri Sun is named after the Italian island of Capri, which was a popular vacation destination when the drink was invented in 1969. The original German name for the drink was Capri-Sonne, which translates to Capri Sun in English.
Love watching your videos guys! Proper make my day when I'm on my worst days, my dad died at age 57 and that was nearly 5 years ago. I'm glad to have been raised by him at the age of 4!. My dad was my rock and I've loved every minute of his way of bringing me up. Dad or no dad, cherish him lads please! My mother wasn't there but my dad was.
Let me tell you, my dad is the king of attending ANYONE he's ever known and their mama's funerals. When you reach a certain age and you're retired, attending funerals is what you do now.😂😂😂 but also he's trying to form stronger bonds with people so their families can help us bury him when he passes. You're attending every funeral James.
That switch on the ceiling fan changes the direction of the fan (clockwise to counter clockwise) which moves pulls air up to cool the room or pushes air down to warm the room.
It's "Open Sesame" because the only good seeds are the ones that fall naturally so it was the password to open the chamber of treasure Ali and the 40 thieves had to reference the treasure sesame was at the age, as it (the leaves and also the door) "opened" naturally.
"A gateway Strip Pole "🤣 My parents have one of those near their house. It's exactly like James said. My dad saw my little sister spinning down and he SNATCHED her off of it. I dont think they've been back since 😂

Not James making me cry with the old people talk. My parents moved across the country before I was born, so I'm not close at all to my parents families, but this made me feel so sad. My grandmother is the last one alive and my aunts and cousins are horrible people to her, they literally fight over her money right there in front of her. This made me so sad, I don't want any old people to feel lonely like that. I live in another country right now, but this just made me decide to look for retirement homes to volunteer, I want to help make one less person feel lonely if I can.
So I’ve been a mum for 17 years and us mums used to rip the happy meal box to create a tray cos it’s hard for little ones to get their little arms in the full box, and apparently McDonald’s took note and started making the happy meal boxes so we could easily do it! They started doing them about 5 years ago
