Nigeria. This Is Who We Are

I gave this spoken word presentation at the Opening Ceremony of the ICAO Negotiation Meeting that held in Abuja in Dec 2022, to welcome all the delegates to Nigeria. It is a country that inspires and infuriates in the same breath. A country not for the fainthearted.

I still don't know why I cry whenever I watch you depositing.
Maybe, it's because of the encouragement you gave me to perform at Ladi Kwali hall of Sheraton Hotel, Abuja.
Who knows, that standing ovation I got after my performance at Umuahia might also be the reason.
