I wanted to say thank you! I found your video while in Munich and wondering which way on Google Maps was best. It was overwhelming. Then I found this video and my panic attack was gone! I ordered my Bavarian ticket in 2 mins after I watched your video. Super easy and since it was unlimited we were able to come back a little early and had the pass for the metro/tram. Also, we did have the German police on our train and I did have our passports just in case!!! Thanks again. More people need to see this. It was the easiest and most affordable option.
Thank you for your information, I have a question for you:: How can I use a regular train ticket (without using a Bavarian Ticket) from Munich Germany to Salzburg Austria, ? What color of Train should I take, >> my plan is to take a train at around 9:00am. Thank you for your help.
Excellent! Very informative. I will be traveling from Munich to Salzburg September but it will be one way. Is it the same price or less? And this Bavaria ticket will cover the city transport like local bus and train for one day only right? Thanks in advance.
Hi, I'm planning to go to Munich end of this year. Can I use this Bavarian ticket to Salzburg then to Berchtesgaden and back to Munich in the same day? Thanks in advance
Hi thanks very much for an useful video like this ! I have never been to Europe by train and coming from USA not familiar with train systems . We are planning on going to Garmisch from Munich on our day of arrival and then we staying in Garmisch for two days . On the 3 rd day , planning to go from Garmisch to Salzburg . I realize now ( after booking the hotels tours etc) to go to Salzburg from Garmisch we need to go to Munich first . So could you please guide me which trains we need to purchase the tickets for ? And how to purchase it and how long ago should we do it? We are planning on visiting in May . Thanks
I am traveling the opposite direction: Salzburg to Munich. Can I get the Bayern ticket for this? Is there an option to pre-select seats while buying the tickets? I want to be seated next to my companion. Or is there another train option you would recommend aside from the Bayern ticket? Thanks!
Thank you very much for the very informative video! I will travel the western Germany for the first time this year in May.
Thank you for your videos! I am waiting for my flight to Munich now!

What about from Salburg to Munich? Is it the same tickets(Bavarian)and the same blue train?
Does the bavarian ticket cover the train from munich airport to munich hbf?
can we use the deutschland ticket instead of the bavarian ticket ?
Sure. I would say, Deutschland ticket is the best option for today until the price remains 49 euro.
Thanks so much to share a good advice
Could I buy the Bravarian ticket and start from Salzburg
Thanks
Yes, absolutely
