    I have been using the reMarkable 2 for 6 months and have found that it often has issues with magnetization. All you need to do is place it next to something with a built-in magnet in the bag. The result is that the point of touching the stylus (marker) is different from the point on the screen, which makes the notebook practically useless. The discrepancy in places reaches up to 1 mm. And from technical support, all I heard was wishes that the problem would solve itself.

    I keep coming back to consider buying the remarkable 2 but for some reason I’m hesitant. The cloud subscription seems confusing as a potential customer. What is it, how much does it cost, do I really need it, what happens if I have it and my billing lapses for some reason or I cancel the subscription. I wish this was clearer as I am clearly interested but for the price tag I continue to be hesitant. Thanks. From hopefully a future customer.

      Hi there. Subscribing to Connect is optional. You can check this article to see what’s included even without the Connect Subscription: tinyurl.com/4xv7jm3n

      @@remarkablepaper I appreciate the response. My point is I’d like to watch a convincing video that quickly explains why its so great and alleviates my concerns at the same time. Maybe something to think about. These seem to be common buyers concerns. If the ‘cloud’ features are so great I want to know why. Make me believe 😀Thanks.

    Hi, I read on your website that the Connect trial is available until November 7 2020, but I’m purchasing my remarkable in 2023. Will I still get the trial?

    Hello. When we tap the Wi-Fi password does reMarkable save the password or do we have to tap it every time we access that same Wi-Fi account? Thank you.

      Hi there. Thanks for getting in touch. The reMarkable device remembers the Wifi password.

      Hi there. You don’t need a subscription plan to enjoy using reMarkable. Those who don’t want a monthly plan still have access to all core note-taking features. Check out this article for a full list of what’s included without Connect. tinyurl.com/2e4rs8cx

    Wow! I understood it could be a good eReader for eBooks. This video scares me. It seems you have to create internet accounts just to use the thing. In '94 I had a little gizmo that created text from handwriting. And since Bill Gates didn't even know about the internet when Win 95 came out, you know it didn't need all that!

    very difficult to use. pen is inaccurate. Almost everything is on line so you can't put anything confidential on it since it and forces you to open an account which charges money to use. This is garbage. use paper, it works way better.

    • @StonyRC
      @StonyRC 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      I disagree - the pen is spot-on accurate and you can sync with any number of online repositories ... all using secure comms. It's the best of all the paper-style tablets.
