    Parker should have put a transom bracket on that boat. 😊

    Such a nice boat. Big enough for safety and comfort, small enough for maneuverability. Enclosed for all weather operation, or pop open the windows and feel the breeze. I’ve looked at all the pilot houses, and for my needs and circumstances, this is the boat I want. Congratulations Captain. Hoping to join the 2120 club myself before long.

      That's exactly why we bought it. If you do get a 2120, you won't be disappointed.
      Thanks.

      Thanks for watching. We love this boat. Had a slow boating year this season but hope next year for more time. Work got in the way.

    Beautiful boat and so functional! I know you are excited! I'm hunting a used C Dory 23 Venture(if I could ever find one) but I live in NC and this is definitely my second choice. I'm a big fan of the channel On The Reef on YT. That's when I started considering a Parker. I did enjoy the video Captain. 😎👍

      Thanks a lot! We love the boat but really had a hard time getting out this year. (work) Next year we should have a lot more videos.

    congratulations on your boat, Parker boats are quality- wish you a lot of good times. we just got a center console this past summer and I am glad I watched your orientation because our dealer did not give us nearly as clear information as your dealer. now I feel much better with all the info he provided . happy boating

      Thanks! We love the Parker. Really glad the video helped you. We have caught our share of fish and crabs on this boat and we're not done yet!

    Very Nice Boat, Congrats, i could use this boat in the Fla Keys, in Key Largo and Marathon, to catch Yellowtail Snapper and Grouper, very nice.....

      Thanks, it would make a great Keys boat, especially if you add AC in it.

      I’ll absolutely have to have AC and a generator. I suppose I’ll try and copy Out on the Reef’s setup, unless I discover a better option. The only way I’ll get my wife to weekend with me is with a cold cabin.

      Thanks. When we were looking, we couldn't find much on TH-cam showing much detail. Made this to help others that are considering buying a Parker. We love our 2120 and can't wait to get it back in the water for our 2nd year.

    Great boat, thanks for posting the video. Are the stern seats usable? I can't understand why they designed them with such a big overlap from the funnel. Also seems like the rear seat hatches need some sort of small gas shock to keep it open while working in there. Other than that, seriously considering this boat, coming from a Whaler 210 Montauk.

    • @castawayonthebay5953
      @castawayonthebay5953  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, the stern seats are usable and comfortable when using the cushions. As far as the seat hatch goes, i don't think they need shocks because not much going on in there except for the batteries and battery switch. I do store my stern anchor there. So far, the only time i really needed the hatch to stay open was when I installed an onboard battery charger, just used a bungee for that. Thanks for watching.

    I don’t really like the bait tank option nor the 2nd helm. If feel you loose to much deck space. I do really like the new Yamaha control panel and your electronics setup its way cool. I loved my 2120 DVSC.

      The second station on the bulkhead is great. Takes up minimal space. Rarely use the bait tank and that does take up space.

    Oh, I bet you’ll use that porta pottie if you do any long range boating or marina hopping. Much more convenient and sanitary even if there’s a restroom nearby and boating and consuming liquids (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) go hand in hand. Nothing ruins a trip more than “I gotta back and pee!” Lol.

      Only had the boat for 1 season and didn't venture too far or long. Haven't used it and really would like to never have to. It's good to know it's there for emergencies. You never know. Thanks for watching.

    I’ve been looking into
    This boat kind of as a do all boat especially for island hopping in Florida and doing some camping I know it does well off shore but is the v Hull to deep to come up right to island and stuff like that?

    • @castawayonthebay5953
      @castawayonthebay5953  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually no. This boat drafts around 18 inches. We pull up to our swimming area at the island you can see behind us in this video. We go as shallow as 2 feet on the depth finder and set anchor.
      Thanks for watching and I hope that answered your question.

    I couldn’t quite make out what he said about flushing/burning out the pump. Almost sounded like he said not to flush it with the engine out of the water….huh? By the way, sweet boat!!

    • @castawayonthebay5953
      @castawayonthebay5953  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      He said, you can't run the engine when you are flushing it. He also said, don't run the live-well pump when the valve is closed, that would burn out the live-well motor. Not sure which part you were referring to. Thanks for watching.

      Same here. Looks like a pain in the butt, especially when docking. Plus I’m a Merc fan.

      Why the old fashioned dual lever? This does not make much sense to me.
