Great job, Cap. I’m trying to figure out if you are an engineer or a mechanic by trade? You did the measuring and knew you had to cut the frame to get the engine to spin and adjust to be properly aligned. Great to see your “First Mate” out there with you.
I see you are torquing the mount bolts, does the CPH have nut plates on the inner side. This is new to me. I remember when it was “bolts and nuts “ with wide washers.
They are shipped with oil to keep the gears coated to prevent corrosion, especially in Florida.
Great tutorial as well. She will be a bit more quiet under water. You do have a lot more engine.

Question, dealer let you walk out with the engine? I recently repowered twin Suzuki's 200 not one dealer was letting me walk out with the engines. I'm from NY, I even flew down to FL, Atlantic marine and it was a no go. I also called dealers in about 10 different states, no go. I must assume at this point Yamaha dealer has no issues with it? Every dealer said they would have do the install so that Suzuki honors the 5 year warranty.
All that aside, awesome job! From one boater to another, I'm proud of you!
