I didn't see them go around the perimeter with 6" nails either. What I am seeing is sand seeping out from underneath onto the new paver driveway. ( Synthetic Grass Warehouse) in Anaheim you can buy american Kentucky blue turf for $2.83 a square foot... hire some day labors at home depot to help and you can easily save a buttload of money... It's a no brainer very easy😏✌🏄♂️
Why put the weed barrier under your aggregate? I have seen it done both ways but it makes more sense to me to not give the weeds a chance to grow in your aggregate by putting the weed barrier on top. Looks good when you finished uu
Yep, I second that. They should have planted some low water tolerant plants/bushes/ivy or mulched the area. Maybe it was the client's decision. We can only recommend, but ultimately, it's what the client decides on the design.
Why did they use pressure treated wood for the inlay/border, definitely doesn't look very good and the pressure treated wood will weather, split, discolor, etc. Not a very wise decision for long term and low maintenance.
I agree with you. He should use subgrade bend-a-board which is not as costly, lower maintenance, and really makes the turf look real without the wood inlay/border

Just reading through the comments and saw this. We’re in st George Utah and it Varys on price. Anywhere between $1.75-$4 for the turf only. This is probably around the $3 mark for what he’s installing unless it’s a flow backing (no drainage holes) then it’ll go up to the $4 mark.
I had a few quotes for my front yard....$4,000 - $5,000.....then it dawned on me....IM MEXICAN....so I just did it myself 😂 ....Happy Wife Happy Life.
