This one snuck up on me, didn’t hear anything about it and then boom. I love the intelligence on it though❤ I’m waiting to see the Dreame X40 Pro Ultra or whatever they’re going to call it. I would like to see a wider brush roll as well on all models!
I LOVE the idea of a duster!!!! I have a little frame going along my walls, and it is such a pain to get on my knees and dust them of in every room!!! So this small addition makes a BIG difference. Do the other Narwal models have it too?
@@rudo367 good suction for a robot. It has 4 suction settings (I believe), and can adjust in real time if it detects extra dust. Robots in general don’t have as much suction as regular vacuums, but this one is powerful. A good brushroll for a robot is more important than high pure suction power.
I like both. The S1 Pro has the best mop performance and better nav, but the Narwal is better in every other category (while still testing second-best for mopping).
Had a dreame x40 and I can see some pros and cons of each. The dreame filter frequently clogged for me - self-cleaning filter is a nice feature. The dreame would do better with corners due to extend arn and closer to edges (possibly). The dreame also has magnetic pads and can leave them behind preventing carpet from getting wet. I never had my dreame pick up a cord, but it detected my baseboards as an obstacle - as well as laminate flooring with a pattern on it. Be curious to see them head to head.
@@PadinnPlaysmy X40 also marks things as the base or cleaning products (pet bed, cat scratching post, pedestal of the bathroom sink) The one thing I would change is the side brush working on the carpet. I think it's a big oversight as they can really help on carpets and it misses things. However other than that I have zero complaints.
How does this robot compare to the dreame x40 for hard wood floors?

@@BlazingNina yeah lots of great new models releasing. Really impressed with this robot, and how it can stay more hands off than others.

If you had mostly hard floors and just an area rug or two would you recommend the freo z ultra or the eufy s1 pro?
s1 pro imo best mopping in the market right now
s1 pro does havepor carpet cleaning performance though so it is up to you.
How is the Narwal compare to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in terms of cleaning? Is the lack of extended arms make a big disadvantage overall?
Can you drive it around when you’re not home like a mobile security camera?
@@RaytheonNublinski yes you can! You can send it to rooms and/or manually control it.
How much are the dust bags going to cost?
Do we know what size battery it has in ma?
What is better the switchbot s10 ore this one??
This one is much better.
If I wasn’t broke I’d buy one
Can reserve now, and it launches next month! A lot to like about this one.
How much suction power

Ok but what about the Eufy S1 Pro?

@VacTech1 On a scale of 1 to 10 how is the mopping compared to the Eufy S1?
It's a very good robot vacuum but the dreamy X40 robot vacuum out does it 👎👍
Preis for this robot is 849e dreamy x40 ultra 1499e. I have almost two for one dreamy and dreamy app and service is disaster…

A suggestion - perhaps weigh your debris pre and post pickup on a scale - may offer a more scientific result. Great review!
