1. Hold Left Alt for Freelook (move your mouse around).
2. For apparently 90% of players out there: if you can mark flags for attack/defend, you ARE the squad leader. Convince your squad to follow your orders and don't forget to always keep the squad rally/spawn point up.
3. Build squad rally/spawn points in some cover AWAY from objectives as it makes audiable sound you can hear from something like 100 meters away. From my personal experience 8 out of 10 squads don't build their rallies at all.
4. The legend has it that if you never use Vector you end up in a heaven for the real chads.

There's an option to change the color of the vehicle hud so it doesnt have to be black
Also, don't drive off with vehicles that are right at your team's safe area border because they are there for a spawn point
Yeah but vehicles being only 100m from spawn at the edge of the spawn are a waste. They should be utilized to gain ground and get squad leads to the rear ends of flags to place their spawn points. It’s only takes like 2 squads to take a dead point. That’s like BTRs who sit in spawn and don’t help their team gain ground…

Where are you getting this level of coordination, especially between two squads? This isn’t the typical level of squadplay the average player will run into.
80% of the time, my squad lead *never* puts down a spawn beacon, or even manages objective markers.
For general tips and tricks, this will end up with players solocapping. If you want to go somewhere not tuned for the general audience.
You can tell by who plays and who doesn’t. I hate that shit. I leave it there for when your dumb ass squad lead won’t drop y’all a rally. Leave a truck by the safe border and EVERYONE can spawn on it. Cuts the run down immediately.
@@OdysseyCS8 When one person does it multiple people do it. Then it’s a dominoes effect. Again, I don’t want my only gunned Humvee to be at the edge of spawn when it can be utilized. It takes not even a minute to run out of spawn. The vehicles should be placed on captured points so people can spawn not the actual spawn…
The enemy hearing prox chat is really good. I got jumped by a full 2 man team and told my friend who was definitely nearby to frag the building and to c4 the walls. There was no friend, they laid down for cover for a full bleed out for no reason lol

11:11 Don't forget you can change vehicle hud color in the options. I don't know why black is default; set it to 255 green and it'll never be hard to see.
More tips:
* Claymores persist through death. Drop claymores in high traffic areas, particularly if you think you're about to be overrun on a point, and enjoy the free kills.
* Support has access to something like 16 grenades per life and 20+ C4 if you take the ones from your own ammo boxes. No other class is better equipped to lay down a lot of smoke to cover a push, or spam explosives in dense infantry situations. Love it or hate it, this is crazy effective, especially in 254 matches.
* The pickaxe allows you to tap out a single brick from a wall to create a very small firing port.
* It appears that you take no fall damage if you vault onto something below you as you are falling.
* MBTs have a spotter seat with a thermal scope that can very easily see infantry from 500+ meters away if you zoom in. Use this to spot for your tank, and keep your team informed of enemy movements. It also has vehicle specific pings bound to 1 and 2.
* Light vehicles with the remote control .50 MG are insanely good against infantry at very long range. If you park one with the vehicle behind cover and just the gun exposed, you can terrorize enemy snipers from hundreds of meters away.
* Medics bandage about twice as fast as other classes. Tell your team to keep fighting and let you do the bandaging when possible as a medic. It takes at least 20 seconds to bleed out, so there's some time to work with.
* All vehicle weapons have limited ammo. Don't just spray wildly, you may run out faster than you think.

You dont even need to park behind cover with the 7m vehicles, just turn the vehicle around and watch how angry snipers are when they can't shoot you out through the rear!

You do take fall damage tho if you fall far enough and still grab something. Watched another YT video they jumped from windmills to a heli rope, his gun disappeared (meaning he got it) and the next second he's dead falling to the ground. I've injured myself and killed myself tryin to jump down building ledges
On squad hopping, if you see a friendly on the map in a good position, you don't have to choose random squads to figure which squad they are in. Move your cursor over their position, it will tell you their name and their squad's associated letter. It looks something like [P]Name with [P] being Papa squad in this case.
Great tip.
While you're alive, open the map and press Enter, you can leave your Squad and join a new one while you're alive.

For the heal and grag thing, you can actually bind the same keys for those 2 actions. That way you just have to manage 2 keys (one for moving and the other for drag-healing)

I was thinking of going with F for heal and dragging (secondary bind on heal). I currently have it set to 3 and don't like the reach, plus I frequently misclick
Took me 10 hours of playing medic before I learned you can press x to drop your med boxes and let team mates heal themselves
Took me 11 hours of playing assault before ai learned you can press f to pick it up
I don't necessarily love that tho because the boxes don't passively heal like in battlefield, injured soldiers still have to press F to start it
To be fair, the ammo boxes can be dropped like normal with left click

Now if only teammates would actually use them
One extra thing to note about armor that I've had a couple friends not realize until really late: your armor and other character customizations are specific to each faction, so if you want to change armor for a class you will need to do it once while on the US side and again for RU.
It's been very difficult for me to find any consistent answers about how armor works; I don't know how you could even test it reliably, but I would love if you could find a way to make a more in depth armor guide @LevelCapGaming
Must have been a bug but I had to customize soldiers on every map played so far
3:25 In the settings you can select several options for how the reload scheme works, I selected the insurgency sandstorm like control scheme of one press is a regular reload and and 2 quick presses is the emergency reload. Works way better imo!

An easier way to drag and bandage at the same time is to bind the drag key to be the same as the bandage key (3), then set the option so drag is not a toggle but a hold action.
Also, you can alter the vehicle HUD colour so it is easier to see, the default black is indeed quite dim and hard to see. I use a bright green :)

This video reminds me of the good old days of bf4 when levelcap, xfactor, etc were giving great tips and tearing apart the fundamentals of those games to give you an insane edge over other people with even the tiniest details of how the game functions. Now we just gotta have a series of levelcap mastering every weapon and itll just be 2014 again
You forgot to mention rally points, they're extremely useful taking in consideration how massive the maps are.
nobody uses them though because the game doesnt alert you that youre the squad leader. if you start a party in menu tho you always start as a squad lead in game when a new round starts. ive been getting good at dropping rally points for my squad between 2 flags.
@@jimster1111there used to be a way back in the playtest to request an order from the SL and if they didn't give an order you were then made the squad leader. I looked through the key bindings and I can't seem to find the key for this. It's possible they might have removed it when they move too early access.
@jimster1111 yes, we need like a big notification on the moment we spawn if we are the squad leader but haven't chose the leader role yet
I agree, my way of knowing I inherited squad lead has become if when I look at a point if it allows me to press the middle mouse key to tag it I realize squad lead got switched to me.
@@jimster1111 yeah that's what I do, I name my squad immature names so people are more likely to join. If you see a squad called cum, semen, sperm, ambatukam or something similar, then that's 100% is me
3:21 You can actually pick up magazines discarded by enemies and allies who're also doing a fast reload, so when you fast reload it doesn't mean your ammocap is permanently limited
This did not work for me and my mates with the same weapon

@@adamcrowl8845could it have been one you might have dropped earlier in the match? Certain items do persist in the game after your death so it's possible you were dropped mags do as well.
@@uberian22 no I rarely use my pistol and when I do it's cuz I ran the primary dry in a gunfight and trying to survive lol

While alive you can access the squad menu by pressing the ENTER key. This allows you to swap squads while alive so you don't need to kill yourself to switch to a different squad. When you do this though keep in mind whatever class you are playing will automatically be switched to assault which the game defaults to if you don't have a class picked. So always switch back to your preferred class.
This gives me the vibes from way back when you'd do similar content for Battlefield 3-4. I love it!
He mentioned "you can prox chat to squad but enemies can hear you", thats why they also have internal squad chat, and also a squad leaders chat button.
Here are other things that I found from experience and from other youtubers:
-sniper rifles from the SV-98 onwards can do over 100 damage when you have the ranger barrel mod unlocked (M200 already starts with over 100 stock). You can easily get some easy points by counter sniping with a simple body shot with a long range scope while getting those 1000+ points long range bonus. Getting a headshot at the same time is a nice bonus.
-You can auto-vault just by holding jump, which makes vaulting faster and smoother. This also has the added effect of letting you jump off the window from a building and vault back in from a lower floor to aid in escape of sneaky counter-flanks.
-The Mk14 EBR is the only DMR in the game (currently) to have automatic fire.
I actually love the scoring system here. Most of the time on the other games, most scores comes from kills only, so you only incentivized to kill enemies. But here you are feel more rewarded for headshots and range for snipers. Also reviving and healing teammates, so we are incentivized to become a medical support for the whole team. Imo they should increase the score for support class when their ammo box is being used by others. As far as I am aware, people use ammo box less since they die before they run out of ammo. So its kinda less than the medic
One incentive I think would work to make people use ammo boxes more is if it can also replenish their armor.
in the future the support class will be able to see who needs ammo just like the medic class that can see the health

That is literally game system that lets you enjoy shooter if you arent good at pure gunplay
I personally recommend binding revive and drag to F and have the alternate set to 3 or whatever so you can bandage in vehicles without jumping out.
If you want to switch to your canted sights, scroll your mouse wheel while aiming, also some of the medium scopes can attach smaller red dots on them
Hit space when you choose a spawn point. It's quicker than moving your cursor back and forth between the deploy tab and team mates that are in and out of combat
P being mag combine is actually a bit of immersion since it forces you to stop most things to press and hold it
I bind it to my mouse 5 even though map is more useful
The biggest tip I see missing is to use jump + crouch to get through windows quickly without going through the vault animation

I think Battle Bit is the best thing to happen the Battlefield since BF4. They might finally stop trying to think of new gimmicks and get back to successful basics.
I still feel like something people are not understanding is how the medics health packs work.
You have 2 health packs by default. Meaning you can drop one and keep the other to heal yourself and others.
If you see a mass of team mates in an intense area where they are getting hit alot. Drop a med pack on the ground for them. They will use it and you get xp for it. Also you could be on the other side of the map and can still heal people.
Most medics are still not dropping med packs.
Also support should be able to restock your ammo the same way a medic would heal you.

I usually end up remapping a lot of controls in every game I play so a lot of these I picked up on just from reviewing keybinds right from the start.
For example, I feel lean is wasted as Q and E, I have a tilting mouse-wheel so I just make that my lean.
Something that took me an embarrassing amount of time to figure out was how to mount a grapple/rappel line. There's a keybind hint displayed for cutting it, but not for mounting it, and the keybind in the options menu I thought was it was actually for the fast-rope off helicopters. Turns out you just jump on it, lol.
Pro tip: In game if you double tap sprint. You just hit shift twice

thing to remember with the window vaults, you can prejump the window just a bit and youll keep your gun level, instead of dealing with the animation
Very useful tip for sweats: if you look in ur setting u can change vault and jump to be different keys. This is very important for players that are rushing into buildings and strafe jumping everywhere. Movement in this game is nuts and turning mid air doesn’t slow u down at all.
Accuracy tho
pro tip: place claymores randomly around the map. you will get cheap kills.

I think this is the first or second video of yours I have seen. I don't even play battlebit but I appreciate your delivery and style. Keep it up, good luck!
Since you didn’t mention it in the video, here’s how you “double jump.” Bind your vault and jump to separate keys (mine is Alt and Spacebar, for example), then whenever you jump, you can press your vault key to climb just-out-of-reach places. It will greatly expand your maneuverability in the game, and open up a lot of flanks!
To expand maneuverability even further you can crouch jump through a lot of windows and spaces where you would normally be too tall and is quicker than vaulting in terms of allowing you to shoot more accurately

You said that there is no armor Loadout save but there is it does it automatically for every class that you set a Loadout on for armor as well as weapons. Also when playing as a medic not only can you throw out your bandages but you can throw out your medkits, then restock them from a supply drop/support class/base supply location, so that your teammates can heal themselves if you're not interested in Gathering all that juicy XP
Few things to addon to tips in this video.
- In terms of both the drag/healing and mag dropping, you can bind reload and pickup mag (might be called interact, not sure), so you can just drop and pick up mags to get the fast reload without losing track of them. Takes a bit to get the hang of but can be helpful in longer fire-fights.
- While zeroing is useful, if you don't like having to use alt + mWheel, you can bind a buttons for each range up and down on their own. If you don't use canted sights mWheel is good for this, otherwise. It also lets you stay ads, while the default method doesn't (I think, not actually sure if the type of bolt changes this.)
- You can recolor the vehicle HUDs in settings (gameplay iirc), to help them stand out better. I personally like a terminal green.
- You may find it useful to rebind vault to something else, similarly accessible other than space, to give you a control over when you just jump, and when you want vault.
what does ads stand for?
@million5666 aim(ing) down sights. When you first start with snipers, if you want to change the range it will take you out of being scopes. If you bind keys for each up and down you can stay scoped in.
You can revive trough walls (and ceilings) but if the wall thicker and can still do it most of the time.
Just lay down and put your legs trough the wall. Most of the time you can still revive and bandage others torugh that wall.

Pressing Enter opens the squad menu, you can change the UI color for vehicles in the menu. Use mid range scopes with top sights, the canted sights have some minor negative stats.
Can also pickup your mags whilst doing a quick reload
You know there is a problem that still remains across these games that bugs me: Snipers hanging outside of all the action and just trying to get kills. They are trying to do their part by taking down the enemy but there's very little to say about actually helping with capping points. I wonder how we can give them an incentive to defend at a point instead of miles away from the action. Maybe removing the scope reflection but only if they are in the vicinity of a capture point or something? I dunno what the solution would be but my heart sinks a little when I join a squad, it has 5 snipers in it and they are all miles away barely getting any kills.
Make the secondary button for picking up magazines the same as the reload key, then you can fast reload while picking up the mag you just dropped (if safe to do so)).
10 hours in and I still always die from people I never see across the map
Sandysunset has a sewer system, take c4 to blow the manhole covers or entrences to them. you can get massive flanks with it, but careful because the ladder for the manholes can be taken out too

Also, you can actually bind the secondary first aid key to just be the drag key, that way you start the revive when you start dragging

For reviving and pulling downed players at the same time, I bound healing to my F key as a secondary input. That way I hold F to pull someone, and shortly thereafter will being reviving them mid-pull.
Additional point on the quick reload: You can actually bind an alternate key for interaction, which I had it bound to R so when I quick reload and look downwards I can pick up the dropped mag whilst reloading.
About revives, I've actually set the bind for dragging to be the same for bandaging. So I am bandaging someone as soon as I'm dragging them.

I had no idea you could sight your weapon in for longer ranges, that’s crazy useful for me when I want to snipe

You can actually HOTKEY Bandage and Drag to F KEY you will always drag and bandage with one key press.
I wish I knew it was such a fast paced game, much quicker than BF3/4. I wanted something closer to BF2, with a more limited stamina pool.
you can also change the settings for quick reload, I switched it to tap once for normal and double tap for quick reload cuz my brain is just used to that due to playing so much insurgency.
You can deliberately fall down the side of a building, while facingnrhe building, and then spam vault key (which you should seperate from jump) in the first or second floor window to take no fall damage
I've definitely taken damage/died jumping down buildings or off them to grab other objects nearby
I usually don't like games with graphics like such and love intense visuals but this game... Checks somehow all boxes I could ask from a shooter game and is 100% better than all the bf2042, cod warzones etc. Masterpiece
You can parkour by vaulting over fences and buildings with well timed space bar presses and good placement you can climb up buildings for better vantage
When it comes to respwaning you also don't have to move your mouse cursor down to deploy, you can just press space
Select fire! Even on mp7, if i see people whos not really in reach of a smg, single mode and tap those heads, you do be suprised how well it works.
FINALLY!!! I have been trying to figure out if canted sights have scope glint for weeks!!
I have to say a lot f this sounding better and better, and gaining points for being a transport?
God, that is just awesome, a mundane role is rewarded, I haven't seen something like that since Planetside decades ago.
Most OP thing in this game is literally teamwork.

bind your bandage's 2nd keybind to be the same as drag, then 1 just hold one key to both revive and drag
Note that the p key can be a bad thing as a really good player should prioritize trying to use their entire mags, it’s more efficient and leass to more kills and uptime. I recommend binding interact to reload. Then you can pick up the mag while quick reloading. Is most of the time a massive nice thing to have. Can’t reload a gun in a heli tho

I managed to get mine close to what i had in BF3, and now I'm a competent pilot again...crashed so many times with default settings xD
I wish there was a skull marker on the map of where you died. Its a great way to get your barings on a map quickly
You can actually set your first aid button to the same as your drag (F). This makes it so you can just hit F to drag a person and it instantly starts reviving them
Bind drag and revive to the same button for even faster revives!

fun tip: you can bind drag and bandage to the same key, so you can just use 1 key and do both.
another tip is to bind vault to something different from space, there's a lot of windows and stuff that you can just jump or crouch jump right through. it's much faster and you can still aim and shoot while doing it.
another tip, make drag and heal on the same hotkey and you just have to press one button for everything
You can change the colour if the tanks HUD to see it easier.
That scroll wheel trick is a good one. I didn't know that.
You can bind vault to a different key than jump. This will be useful in certain traversal situations and it will also make you get around stupid fast and give you the option to jump peak cover.
Secondly; while you can't ADS on a nightmap if you have the nightvision pulled down, you can press the canted sight button and use a laser to aim instead. It is extremely precise! Keep in mind the enemy can see the laser too though!

Go to settings, gameplay, get to score board by squad not score. Removes the lag if you fat finger the score board
Bind the Bandage Key to the Revive Key....ie: Both Bound to "3". Works a treat
Here is a tip, you can shoot supply drop parachutes to make them fall faster. Not sure if it damages the supply drop though

You should always fast reload and then grab your magazine right away (you can do both at once).
You can pick up the mag (depending on the gun) just as fast as you reload with the faster animation so there is really no reason to not do it
you can bind the revive button to drag button and automatically revive while drag

Bind the drag key as the same key as the revive key. Lets you do both at the same time.
You can put the bandaging on the same key as dragging, instead of two keys
If you're in a map with high rise hotels, pack a pickaxe and C4. You can make the perfect sniper nest.
You can blow up the staircase and create small holes directed at enemy positions, and create the ideal sniper nest.
Bonus if you seal the windows with barricades so enemy players think there is no one inside, when infact you're shooting from holes 😂

Crosshair Color is huge for me, I'm big on a high contrast green.

I put voice chat on a extra mouse button so I don't accidentally hit F when flying the chopper and trying to communicate with the team.

Dev team is talking about using a bios level anticheat thats always active. Not only is that sketchy as far as my privacy goes. That is just huge security risk. Refuse to touch it until they decide against it
I like the game but one thing I really miss from old BF is the basic radar in the top corner gotta get used to bringing up the map I suppose. there's just so many buttons . if I could have the map up on my 2nd monitor that would be dope
Most weapons allow you to reload while ADS, surprised me while playing around in the shooting range
funny tips but work, adjust your gun range at 100m, when you shoot enemy at the chest it will automatic go straight to headshot
Don't know if its been said but im pretty sure if you shoot the support guys in the legs they die faster, feels like legs are not armored.
Took me two days to realise aim down sights sensibility existed, i thought for god damn two days that the sight moving a third of the screen every full mouse movement was normal and people where just better than me
