I pretty much hate ASMR, but I agree! You should absolutely NOT stop slapping and tapping! It's part of your process and part of YOU, which is why we watch! ❤
To me there are few things more satisfying than taking a piece of old, tired, beaten up antique furniture and bringing it back to life. I feel like most people don't realize how beautiful these pieces can be with a little TLC! Amazing job!
Trena, you are truly an artist. when it comes to wood, but as well when it comes to restoration, I remember the big Grandfather Clock the gentleman brought you that required rebuilding plus the paint work
It’s so nice to see the your pride in your work. Your father taught you well. Your work is rare in today’s time. Years back we had some of your glides in the extra leg box. If I remember the customer wanted rollers and we removed them. I’m saying thank you for your customer, a great save.
I actually cried at just how beautiful you made this. You have an extraordinary level of ability with wood by bringing out its absolute best. Thank you again, from Perth, Western Australia 🇦🇺 ❤🇨🇦
Glad to see your BACK HOME also that your father is with you ,,,you are the best.......with the two of you who knows what can happen two pros together can it get any better ????
Never stop being Trena ,it's what you do ,do it . What a outstanding looking piece of furniture and a amazing restoration job on this dinning room table what a show piece properly dressed for a Thanksgiving or Christmas Dinner .
What a lovely video of your trip "Home " thank you Trenna for this! The little ELM chair was a poignant and charming piece to finish with in Ontario. ❤
I came across those glass gliders 30 odd years ago on a dining table made in UK, I was told by one of the older Cabinet Makers, they are for Carpet or Rugs, he had not seen them for years. If you want to slap Furniture go right ahead.
Dear Trena; I'm delighted to see that you brought that old stripper tin, with you from Windsor, I'm also of the belief that "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", Lots of love from London UK.
Don’t ever stop being you! That’s why people like me watch. I love the glass casters. Nice find. Beautiful piece, as always, when you have done your magic!
I just want to say I love all of your videos, as far as I'am concerned you can slap furniture as much as you like . Excellent restoration of the dining table, you are amazing!😍😍😍
Treana: nice restoration job. That oak on the two halves were really nice pieces. And those glass risers were pretty interesting too. Carol from California
Excellent restoration young lady, that table was suffering from a lot of neglect over a long period of time, glad to see you bring it back, finished out beautifully, thanks for the video, enjoyed watching.
I could hear the sad little cry from the table leaf. "Me.... wha what'd I do?" Poor little fellas gonna be the last one pulled from the closet when company comes over; he might see Thanksgiving or Christmas at best. Table looks amazing (don't tell him I said that).
I'm a HUGE fan of both quartersawn white oak and mission style tables. You brought it back and made it is absolutely beautiful again. Great work. Keep it up!
The table is beautiful now. The cross cut grain is wonderful! I have my parents tiger oak table and chairs and always enjoy seeing another one rescued.
Trena, fantastic result on this table . Tip : to replace sliders I have used UHMW plastic, this stuff is f.i. used in thick cuttingboards or industrial sliders. Can be bought at shops that sell plexiglas etc. Easy to shape, saw, drill ,turn on a lathe. You could even have turned new disks to fit your replacement new feet. I enjoy your video's !
you're professionalism and love of your trade shines through no matter whatever piece of restoration you lay your hands on. customers love this about you and will always share pass this on to new customers so work will always be at your door
I think those screws should go back in. I wish the owner had sprung for the glass casters. It's nice to see you use as much of the original as possible. It's a gorgeous table. Nice job!

Personally, I like it when you tap on the wood. You are an artist!
🥰
She's a fine healthy girl with canniness and skill with wood: a fine example of a well-employed human.
Don't stop slapping the furniture or tapping your nails on veneer, it's like furniture repair ASMR!
I pretty much hate ASMR, but I agree! You should absolutely NOT stop slapping and tapping! It's part of your process and part of YOU, which is why we watch! ❤
