My first time up to Mt. Arvon in 2010, it was blocked off by a log blockade and the trail up was blocked by five, thirty six inch high, dirt moguls and my then twenty three year old, Bronco II made it over just fine. In 2014 there were no blockades and a parking area that said, Plum Creek. I don't know what happened in four years but I'm glad it did.
Rutroh. Haha. Sadly, the mining waste heap in Ishpeming is the highest point in Michigan. The lowest point is the mining pit less than a mile away from the high point. I'm putting effort into starting a trend encouraging people to bring a rock up to the high point of Mount Arvon with them and start a stack. If enough people do it, it will soon be the highest point in Michigan again.. I mean, until the next year when they stack more waste on top of the pile and Ishpeming.

Why don’t people put signs to help public going more friendly?

I always get GPS coordinates for high points, just in case situations like this occur
