  • ⚡ Pssst! I have better alternatives to DDG and Brave VPNs: ⚡
    ✅ Try NordVPN - much faster, more locations - 74% off ➡️ ctzone.link/nordvpndeal_94/
    ✅ Surfshark - cheaper, unlimited connections - 86% off ➡️ ctzone.link/surfsharkdeal_94/
Let’s talk about actually private browsers - Brave vs DuckDuckGo! Which one is better? Faster? Stronger? I’ll cover their privacy pratices, search engines, UI and extra features, as well as overall usability.
    -----------------------------
👨🏻‍💻 DuckDuckGo vs Brave privacy comparison
Is DuckDuckGo safe? The browser doesn’t use tracking cookies, doesn’t store user info or expose your searches to third parties. It even keeps the terms you searched hidden from the websites you click on. Plus, whenever possible, the DuckDuckGo browser automatically connects you to encrypted versions of websites.
Is Brave browser safe? It updates connection to HTTPS whenever that’s possible, and blocks third-party cookies and trackers. It also doesn’t collect or share user data. Yet Brave browser takes things a step further. It blocks ads by default, doesn’t store browsing history and when syncing data across devices, it encrypts it, so nobody but you has access to it. Brave also has a private browsing mode that’s powered by Tor.
    🐥 Search engines
With the DuckDuckGo search engine - you have no option to change it. Don’t get me wrong, it’s pretty good, but it’s nothing super impressive. It takes results from other search engines and anonymizes them. What about the Brave search engine? Once again, Brave is more customizable in this case. Brave Search has its own independent search index with more control over results and ranking. It allows you to choose HOW the results are ranked. Plus, you can also completely switch it.
    🦁 Extra features
Both browsers have a lot to show. DuckDuckGo has this very awesome “Fire” button that completely closes all your tabs and data. Then you’ve got the Bangs - shortcuts to the most popular websites. I also wanted to mention the DuckDuckGo VPN. Brave Browser VPN is also a thing! But if you want a VPN, something like NordVPN or Surfshark will be a better choice - and often cheaper too.

Edit: but between these two. DuckDuckGo, just because of the past Brave browser. It's been growing on me recently, but still can't switch

Great video mate! Use both on mobile and brave on pc. Brave is actually great as a daily driver on mobile, although it lacks the vpn feature.

I've been using Brave for a number of years now. They would have to screw up majorly for me to change. I detest microlimp and giggle so you won't catch me using either of them.
Forgot, I also have Firefox as a backup.

DDG is easier to use. Safe enough compared to mainstream. Don't need any more additional privacy. Unless your a freak.

Agree. For non tech people duck is enough. Most people are semi-privacy minded. For super freaks who want anonymity and want to wait 10 minutes for something to load TOR browser. For a bit more privacy minded and for better features and control Brave or hardened Firefox. Vivaldi for interface control and privacy like duck.
