I use Brave on both PC and mobile. It's really the best cross-platform browser I've used till date. Both Edge and Firefox have really good desktop versions but terrible mobile versions. Only Brave and Chrome have nailed both the versions, but Chrome doesn't have proper ad-blocking on mobile, so Brave is the obvious choice for me!
I disagree with this assessment. Out of the box, brave may be better for your privacy, but Firefox can be made just as much if not more private. And it's not very difficult to do either. Just a matter of downloading and replacing your user.json file. In terms of performance, I think brave and other chromium based browsers have an edge at least if not because most webpages today are built with a chromium browser as the target. Brave's ai and crypto stuff are anti features in my book. Also most Linux distributions use Firefox for a reason.
@@enigmalex3649I also wanted to use Firefox on PC but ended up using Brave 'coz the sync feature is convenient, and Firefox on mobile is honestly not a very good experience. 😅
Both browsers have a great deal to recommend them. There are also some promising newcomers on rhe scene, these days, too, such as Floorp and Ghostery, and it will be interesting to see how they develop in the future (alongside the likes of Mullvad). Personally, I like to use different browsers on different platforms, for different reasons. Favorites include: Librewolf (in Linux) and Brave and Opera (both of the latter in Android and on my Windows PC's, respectively); Opera has a great UI and cool-lookimg, customisable layout, plus a free VPN, but it's always good to keep an open mind as regards 'browser issues'. Thanks for the video.
I like Brave, but the used tab accentuation color is very bad. I can hardly see the color and with some themes (I use Linux BTW) there is a white line under the address bar which you can't remove. I prefer Firefox because the user experience is better compared to Brave and other browsers too BTW. I don't care much about page load times.
Good video editing, you're punching above your weight when it comes to views. I haven't tried brave in years. Might be time for me to give it another shot.
Brave may be what it is - but I wouldn't use it, because I don't trust the company behind it. Irrespective that they've already done some controversial things, you don't really know how they make money, who "owns" the company, who funds it through investments and how much they pay their CEO e.g.
5:35 did you know that Firefox only has Google as a default search engine because Google is actually funding Firefox? 6:12 and actually the Brave browser has a picture and picture mode if you for example go on TH-cam then press the right mouse button and then press it again on the video you will get the option.
Succombed to the hype of being an entertainer when talking of serious things. Can't bear to watch those reviewers who do stand up comic for the sake of being supposedly dynamic and not boring. Subject may be interesting but the delivery is too fast and lot of important information is lost along the way. Like eating a spaghetti meat balls with 15 balls in your plate. Too much for no reason.
So which browser is YOUR pick? Let me chat in the comments!👇

This video is based, it's seemingly sponsored by them
why is firefox so slow with youtube??
Firefox always

He's just evaluating from the perspective of a no-so-tech-savvy lazy normie that can't and won't bother to customize anything
@@SimGunther I agree with that. Most people don't bother to do much and only a handful does. Most people will stick with Chrome.
Strict mode + Ublock Origin + Violentmonkey + Adguard Extra script
I'm using Brave on tablet and phone because it block ads and Firefox on pc
Why don't u use brave on PC too?
@youngmetroooo I also like firefox but for tablet and phone I like brave better
@@enigmalex3649I also wanted to use Firefox on PC but ended up using Brave 'coz the sync feature is convenient, and Firefox on mobile is honestly not a very good experience. 😅
Firefox blocks ads on mobile too thanks to ublock and other extensions support, brave does not have this support on mobile 😢
Why not use Firefox on mobile too, it has ublock :P
I'm using Brave right now, I've never gotten a single ad on TH-cam or other websites using it!
Well, either way, Brave is indirectly helping Chrome and Firefox is the only way out unless servo awakens, lol
Brave, The only browser that boasts of its ability to block ads, then shows you ads in exchange for some crypto.
It's opt in though
Which you have to willingly and manually turn on btw, you don't see any ads by default

Firefox is the only thing fighting against the monopoly of chrome engine.
And its sponsored by google to do it. If only this huge money mozilla gets wouldnt have gone to the pockets of the CEOs.
Safari, installed on 100% of iOS and MacOS devices. Market share more than 10-20x Firefox and Edge.
@@espressomatic isn't safari also built off chromium tho?
@@eegernades No, it's Webkit. Apple's own browser engine
I use brave my main browser in pc and phone and also use vivaldi as secondary browser on both with u block origin extensions on pc ....
I use Brave. I just hide/disable all their bells and whistles that I don't need.
5:35 did you know that Firefox only has Google as a default search engine because Google is actually funding Firefox?
brave does indeed block ads, i know people say google blocked that ad-blocker but inìs not true
mysteriously sometimes when you open it it doesn't block any ads
For me, both are great, but I use Brave 95% of time! It just has better built in abilities!
Brave is another chrome rebrand.... it's a meh...

loved the dynamics of the video, thanks
Apart from not supporting the same type of extensions as Firefox, Safari (webkit engine) is far and away the best.

Can you do Brave vs Librewolf?
Brave ❤ great browser. I'm using it on PC and smartphone from years.
I dont get any sponsored results on chrome though
Using brave for couple of years and not switching soon
there's no place like chrome !!
Test Thorium vs Mercury
Either way, Brandon Eich rules!
Guys i use google without ads simply by changing my dns
DNS blocking doesn't cover even 50% of ads. And does nothing on TH-cam.
