Thank you, but honestly, hacking is something I'm fond of and normally pretty good at! I'm just:
a) Using the wrong modules which make it very hard as I'm lower strength and cohesion than you should have for these boxes
b) Doing this at 2am my time. I was not focusing, I was half asleep, and BOY does it show...!

One thought about cost: Using faction cap batteries and rechargers gives you more fitting space and compared to the cost of the ship, I would really consider them. Since you also do abyssals, you could buy a bunch of medium armor repper IIs and roll them through decayed mutators to give you better cap, fitting and rep amount.

Yeah, swapping the 2 Pb batteries for 2 Republic fleet batteries took this fit for me from 5980gj to 7003gj; cap stable from 64.6% to 70.5%; neut resist per battery from 22% to 27%. And it uses the same amount of PG/CPU as the Pbs - though they cost an extra 50m or so.
When you get yellow boxed by the rats and you recall drones, wait for the rats to red box you again before relaunching them or the sleepers will just go back to shooting your drones

@@captainbenzie Could also use an auto target in a high slot, helps bring the ship up on the aggro table, making drones less likely to be targeted.

One point i would like to make is that the Republic Fleet Warriors are the fastest drones and have decent HP and are most easily able to avoid damage from sleepers. Your drones will take an absolute pounding from these high level sleepers.
Surprised you done group your drones into groups. It allows you to recall all the drones in a group with one click.

Couple of things. Never open the white nodes unless you have no option. They don't hurt you as long as they are white. If you are out of options then open a white node 50/50 good or bad.
Secondly recall your drones as soon as you see a yellow box, then wait for them to red box you before launching your drones.

you can also use curse or other non dscan ships (combat reacon) for this task it is much safer but more skill intense
If I remember correct there was cheese way to do this in T1. Get a frig with MWD and pull them ~250km from side. Do not pull more they can teleport to the center of side back.

Great video :D work a bit on hacking use rule of 6, rule of 8, and the starting position can help u identify where the core is... it hurts me when I see how slowly u do the hacks where u have unlimited tries.... Keep up the goods coming so we can critique more :D

Great Video I have a Stratios but I built it for exploration and discovered that it was even less suited for exploration than my Astero.
I was lucky enough someone filled my buy order for a Ligature Integrated Analyzer for about half price. (I do NOT have the skillz for a Zeugma)
Now I just need to figure out what to put in my new empty slot :)

this is such a well thought out fit that it hurts to say a passive shield Strat is just better for this. drop a depot and refit damage amps as you need less regen to clear faster, refit hacking module and refit warp stab to leave.
Oh that's definitely a good way to maximise efficiency, the fit was just aimed at "get job done without refit"!

Thanks for the video, I asked for it so i was very interested in how you would do it. If yoy add the Zeugma analyizer you go over a bil easy. I guess if you refit a cargo scanner when you get to the boxes you can cherry pick the good data ones.

When hacking, if you get an offensive node in the center of a hex, then the core is on one of the 6 next to it.

Ok I’m sorry that I have to say this… the only thing, ONLY thing I didn’t like about this video are the comments scaring people into not using it 😢. I use the Strat for one reason it can do near as good a job as a TC3 but has access to DED sites TC3’s can’t get in to. Also if you state this is expensive then don’t ever bling out any ship. Also not having damage mod bonuses is meh, you’re right but you can fit any wep you like, most experienced players use blasters. The trick to using this ship is using a mobile depot. I have 3 fits with a compromise on the rigs, 1 for travel/scanning, one for hacking which also slows me to web and scram and another for running up to DED 5 sites. Sure is it the fastest? No but without changing to a TC3 it’s a great option. You are an experienced pilot and should know that 300 or so million isint expensive for a hull. Heck my Strat runs 1.3bil and I’ve not been specifically hunted and when I’m hacking I’ve not felt as safe.
Content creators need to be careful what they say as it will influence newer players who mindlessly take every TH-cam video as gospel. If any explorer is worth their weight using a covert ops cloak shouldn’t have an issue in high sec or low, J space is another matter but then again that applies to any other ship. Great content matey but try not to over exaggerate the whole ‘you will be hunted’ thing.
Also the Pacifier doesn’t give ANY bonus to probe flight time 😅 only survey probes not scanner probes (they aren’t the same) also to have better scanning than the Strat the Pacifier would need to have Covert Ops to at least level 4 because that would give you a 40% increase versus the 37.5% of the Strat.
I'd agree with the whole "scaring folks away" thing, as I know the power of being a CC, except for the fact that the video is showcasing it. This works both ways. As a CC, I have to be careful of showcasing something and folks simply jumping into the shop to try it without the proper skills (in-game and personal) to back it up.
The Stratios is slow to align. As you yourself say, "if they're worth their weight with covert ops", but the thing is that many newer folks simply, *aren't*. The warnings are there purely to keep folks grounded and understand both sides of it. The Stratios is a great ship (that's why I'm showcasing it) but it's not faultless and I know MANY hunters who will hardcore hunt a Stratios if they see it on D-Scan for a second. Stratios are expensive killmails and are often flown by newer players who don't know better. As a CC, I need to explain the risks of a ship in addition to its advantages.

Would the Proteus (slightly more expensive) the better option for this?
It has the bonuses to scanning und hacking, higher drone bandwith, more dps, same aligntime, shorter recloaking delay, more high slots (for example autotargeting system, a second nos)
Only negative part: Stratios looks way better 🙂

There is actually a fit that works with medium energy turrets, beams of all things too. :)
But admitedly it's quite niche and i haven't seen it used in 4-5 yrs.

I totally love the stratios... Is a owerpriced bad strategick cruiser BUT have much MUCH lower SP requirements... Ppl dont remember how bad is the SP grind in this game. Add that to the fact that stratios is a ship that allow you to chose your fight so you can potentially newer lose it if youre are carefull with your engagement choices and you have a wery good mix for the solo skilled player who wanna have a careful taste of that kind of PVP wile training for t3c...
Honestly a cheaper ship than I would have guessed. On par with the HAM Tengu for C3s - though I may be comparing current Tengu fit prices to what your showing here
I have C3 Tengu fits for around 700m. This won't do C3 Combat Sites.

I am one of the few I guess who dropped in 4 energy turrets and it burns up rats pretty well if you make sure to boost up defenses.

I don't think it's needed. The boxes simply aren't worth it at all. Just go for the ship wreckage
Same sites can be done with just shield regen and staying at one place, latest battleship can be annoyed by ECM so he just ignore you completely while trying to kill small drone
What's the fit? As it stands, this works comfortably. 80m in 15 mins is good ISK.

Normally I would. For the purposes of this video, though, I wanted to check every box and see how hard they were.
I dont know if it still works now but i think when i used to do these sites, i used to create a warp bookmark near the site.. and instead of slow boating to the can, i would warp to the bookmark and then to the can.
You can still do that. I kinda prefer the slowboat as it drags the ships out into a line reducing incoming DPS.

nomally I just ninja hack this site with a Heron if I happen to find one cuz the server bank is one of the two only explore sites in C5 that do not have battleships in the first wave. but hey, the blue loot is some times juicy if there is some bad luck on the data loots

Smart bombs have 7.5km range. Many ships do not enter that range and orbit further out.
You actually don't have to destroy every obstacle in the hacking mini game. You can move around if possible. If there are no ways you can move, then you should consider destroying them. This way you will fail less.
This was at 2am with a low grade analyzer. I was looking for power ups to use 😅

@@captainbenzie full mid of shield extenders + one EM passive hardener + one Thermal passive hardener. Then full low rack of caldari shield rechargers, and rigs are full of core defense purgers. It's a bit more chill in that fit and there are videos using that fit effectively

im pretty sure most ppl set their duel request to auto reject. if you want 1v1 go to a popular lowsec system and ask in local.
