    There’s a lot of good information in the video and ive watched over 10 times so far trying to catch model and names of the mounts because i like the idea of over head mounting but nervous that the mounts will hold the weight of the cameras. I’m using the impact varipoles to limit the camera shaking. Outside of that l like how everything is setup very impressive for sure.

      Thanks for watching multiple times, it really helps! For the overhead bracket I’m using VIJIM LS15 from Amazon. I’ve also seen it under different names. I didn’t have much luck with ball heads for overhead mounts, as they tend to be just on the edge of their clamping capacity for the camera. K&F KF-28 seems to hold the best if you’re going the ball head route. Otherwise I would recommend the SmallRig magic arm, it is what I’m using. Pair it up with one of those 70mm Arca clamps and you should be good. As for shakiness, there’s not much you can do, it’s just fulcrum physics. I find electronic stabilizer in the camera does a pretty good job.

    Never saw this guy or channel before, but the corniness of the first 40 seconds (“…what are you doing?”) and flashy movements were enough for me to instantly subscribe. LOL. Awesome setup, too! 👍

    Can you provide more detail on what caused you to customize the arca mounts to the neewer ball head mounts? And maybe add a link to what arca mounts your using? Thanks!

    • @ryt-is
      @ryt-is  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I find the default clamps on ball heads to be pretty rough, small, and unpleasant to use. I’ve replaced them with 70mm clamps from Amazon. They go under many different names there (I’ve bought ones named QLOUNI), but are probably all made in the same factory, look for the ones with a twist knob. They go for around 12-15 euros. If you have the budget, I very highly recommend the SmallRig 2144, but they are very expensive at 70 euros a set, so I only use them on actual camera rigs.
      If you’re buying a ball head, be aware that not all of them allow the clamp to be removed (SmallRig doesn’t for example). Neewer ball heads have a screw which allows replacing the clamp, but those ball heads are not always in stock. K&F KF-28 ball head can also be customized.

    Hey bro, could you please elaborate how you connect the camera to the PC I cannot make it work with my elgato cam link 4K. I have the S5ii but no matter what configuration I use it still don’t work

      Does it detect the device in Elgato Camera Hub without connecting HDMI? And do you have HDMI output enabled on your S5?

    What about your script and edits? What's your process for that?

    • @ryt-is
      @ryt-is  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      First I outline the video in bullet points, and then I expand each bullet point as a chapter with full text. After that I record the talking head parts with the teleprompter, sometimes changing the scenes for different chapters. Somewhere in this process I film the B-Roll, which can take multiple shoots depending on the video and camera operator availability. If the video is about a product where I need to show specific parts, I note down what to film next to my script.
      As for editing, I mostly just wing it and see which footage came out good. If there's a lot of footage, I might cut a "daily" with potentially good footage. Then I just iterate over the video multiple times, cutting out the slow parts.
      I'm still working on my process, and I change it ever so slightly when I learn new things.
      Thanks for the question, I'll put this as a video idea, if there's enough interest from the viewers.

    • @JoATTech
      @JoATTech 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ryt-is Nice ... but Shinobi got 4x zoom (vs Ninja 2x) which is better for monitoring (especially with manual focus). Quite good to nail focus for top-downs :D.

    • @ryt-is
      @ryt-is  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@JoATTech Oh, didn't know Shinobi had a 4x. For top-downs I use auto-focus before starting filming, so I don't really need a big zoom, but I could see that being very useful for soldering small chips.
