Yes, they do make a nice SSD holder, but I find SSD workflow too cumbersome

@@steveperry4243 it really depends on your use case. With Elgato you’ll have to be constantly tethered to a computer, since it is an all in one unit. Size for reading it 3-6 feet away should be fine, since you can always increase the font size. With Iloknzi and other prompters which are just a mirror, you’ll have to get a separate tablet, and also find a proper app and remote solution, which can be quite challenging as I have found out, but I have a video in the works about it coming soon. Also you should check out SmallRig teleprompter, I have a video about it and I prefer it over Iloknzi.

@@ryt-is Right on! Excellent feedback, thanks a ton. I was looking at the Neewer x16 with an iPad. That has a nice-looking remote, but I guess that's probably just for the neewer app, so only useful if I like that app. That solution, however, is quite a bit pricier than Elgato b/c of iPad purchase, as you mentioned above. Elgato wins there....but I also don't want to save money just for the sake of saving money if it's not suitable for my intended purpose....Anyway, I'll check out your smallrig video now and I'm very much looking toward to the new video you mentioned

@@steveperry4243 in my experience most teleprompter remotes work only in their own apps, and those apps are very hit and miss. There is a good teleprompter app which seems to support most of the 3rd party remotes, but it’s subscription based and very expensive, so I’m not using it. Also if you’re looking to buy an iPad explicitly for teleprompter, go for a smaller model, it is plenty big, you’ll save a buck, and it will actually be easier to handle. Also don’t forget the used market, you can find some great deals on used tech

@@ryt-is cool, I was planning on 10th gen iPad. Total cost of both setups is about $340 more for the iPad + bigger teleprompter compared to Elgato

First I outline the video in bullet points, and then I expand each bullet point as a chapter with full text. After that I record the talking head parts with the teleprompter, sometimes changing the scenes for different chapters. Somewhere in this process I film the B-Roll, which can take multiple shoots depending on the video and camera operator availability. If the video is about a product where I need to show specific parts, I note down what to film next to my script. As for editing, I mostly just wing it and see which footage came out good. If there's a lot of footage, I might cut a "daily" with potentially good footage. Then I just iterate over the video multiple times, cutting out the slow parts. I'm still working on my process, and I change it ever so slightly when I learn new things. Thanks for the question, I'll put this as a video idea, if there's enough interest from the viewers.

Interesting. Thanks for the comment. I still can’t wrap my head around the audio, but I might have gotten too hard on the EQ to knock out the room reverb.

@@ryt-is That might be it, not sure on the tools but would either take it at the source (get a mic as close as possible) or record some background noise and see what effect it has if you mix it in at lower volume.

Well I sure as hell am not going to leave it on the floor :P It’s easier to sort out the trash if it’s on the floor vs on the desk mixed with other accessories

Hi, thanks for the comment. You can physically use the camera in any country, I do use it for traveling too. However I'm not sure if it can be activated if bought from another region (most likely it can). I've checked Amazon India, and they seem to have Osmo Action 4 for sale there, so you should be good (don't forget to use the link in the description :)

Linus talked on WAN show about it and that it would be extremely difficult given their small size
