Fallout London is a new DLC sized mod that is actually the size of a new Fallout game and comparably larger than other Bethesda games in many ways, this is an incredible achievement considering this mod was created by fans. The game has more armor and weapons than Starfield, more dialog than Skyrim and Fallout New Vegas, multiple factions, questlines, iconic London architecture and landmarks.

That this team has quality testing tells me they put more into the game than Bethesda has.
When has that not been true, though? Bethesda is good at making good games, but even better templates, and as long as they keep going with "let the community fix it" that will continue to be true.

It is truly mind-blowing to see that Bethesda games promote such adventurous projects. Look at the Beyond Skyrim, Skyblivion, Fallout: Miami, and Fallout: London teams. And that is just to name a few. These people have been responsible for creating some ground breaking mods. Actually, saying that it's a mod does a diservice to the scope and scale of the projects listed. These are full fledged games and these people deserve SO much recognition.

I dont install mods , because majority are just lame , I love Fallout 4 OG , and have in game hello kitty M4 just breake immersion for me , and I am mostl annoyed with those curvy swimsuit models that replace NPC in game , what is point of that ??? , I have once moded Skyrim = I downloaded loot of mods without reading what they are for , and everybody was running naked in game , even youg ones , I have quit mods after that ... but that mod look good , I might install it , but next xmas .

It sounds like the issue with modding is you in not checking what the mods do. Why would you download anything without seeing what it does? The point of mods is having an idea of what you want and installing it for that reason. You don't just install them to install them. There is an exemption to that and it is reading what it does and installing it with a why not attitude and seeing what it's really about. I'm sorry to say that the issue is literally you and not the mods or modders. There are plenty of vanilla plus mods that enhance the game and I use them all the time. Take some responsibility for your lack of research.

I have moded Farming Simulator since 2013 , and there mods are EZ you download as many you want , and place them in MODS folder , and in game I can mark with mods I can play ... in Skyrim there was no such option , I have downloaded mod pack that make Skyrim look better , but there was nowhere writen that NPC will run naked , I did not seek that , I am grown up I have GF I am not despred to see women naked , and I dont look to mod game that way ... and there is an issue with mods , there are sick people out there , that lie what is in mods , or just dont inform what is in mod , sometimes that is lotter , and if you had experience with modding , you would know that ... and Fallout 4 loose a loot being moded , but Fallout London is not Fallout 4 is basically spinoff like NV , so stop bitching snowflake ...

Seems like you don't even mod a game because atleast you need to install and configure the mod before starting and usually you get a FOMOD (or whatever it is called) installation that shows you what's the mod looks like. Even the name of the mod itself tells you what mod is it. There's tons of mods out there and you don't even forced to download them. If you don't like it, just ignore it. The world doesn't revolves around you, buddy.
Oh yeah that fan overhaul mod it'll definitely be bigger and better than a fallout 5 because the fans always put more work into Bethesda games than Bethesda

Bethesda are terrible at story telling. I bet fallout London will have much better story telling. Just compare Fallout 3 with Fallout New Vegas. New Vegas was so much better.

Team FOLON is certainly the most organized team out of all major mod expansion teams. I mean think about it. Not only is the game bigger than Fallout 4, devs needed to think of everythign from scratch. Since the game is focused on London they couldn't just toss in there supermutants and powerarmor and call it the day. Every single piece of lore had to be thought of and created from scratch. And even then, despite arguably handlign the most difficult mod expansion out of them all they're still going to finish it sooner than Miami, 4NV, Capital wasteland etc.

@miragemain105 yes you can, we have full tea making and drinking mechanic
@zaklex3165 for the next gen update, we are not too sure since we do not know what exactly will be affected. If it introduces bugs to the mod, we will patch the mod.
Creations won't have an effect on the mod at all. Fallout: London will be free for anyone to download.

I have two concerns. One, Fallout London's release is happening at the same time we are expecting an update from Bethesda. This will mean the mod will come out at the same time that Script Extender will needing to be updated. Two - What will Todd's reaction be when Fallout London turns out better than Starfield or Fallout 4?
As far as Tod's reaction goes he'll be absolutely thrilled. He would 100% take command of that hype train as proof of how dedicated and loyal "His" fan base is.
The Social Media team for Starfield though will go full foaming at the mouth lol
I think their reason for releasing around that time is the hope for larger mod space on consoles, so the release is dependent on the update from Bethesda rather than being adhered by it.
Im wondering about the timing as well. The fallout 4 next gen update is supposedly having the new creations paid mod system. The timing makes me think this might end up being a paid mod.

That's a Lewis Gun. Recognisable by the air cooling shroud around the Barrel.
That other top feeding light machine gun looks like a Bren Gun/ZB-26.
Those are effectively the British light machine guns of WW1 and WW2

I wish Bethesda would just release an official game set outside the US. There's got to be interesting stuff in other parts of the world, or is it a hint that the US just nuked itself into oblivion and nobody was interested in braving the radioactive wastes?

This mod looks absolutely incredible. You can see why people in the premiere live chat were thinking this is an official DLC.
You generally don't see dead pigeons because rats eat them, or sometimes even seagulls if you live near enough to the river.

This looks epic. I really hope that Fallout London will have its own EXE, Kinda like Enderal does. I am worried about Bethesda fucking it up with stupid updates, like they have with Skyrim.

On pc F4se and Skse are already seperate exe.s from bethesda base game, just stop steam updates and launch with those exes and the game will never update
That only works if you never take the game off your system. I don't keep games I am not going to play for a while installed on my PC. Before you or anyone else tries to tell me just buy more storage, I can't and won't be able to for a long time. I was born in London, and spent my babyhood living in what was an indeed cramped row house in Streatham Hill, which is in Lambeth, so I'm looking forward to seeing how my childhood home has made out. This probably has a map system, like Fallout, but can we actually mod or run mods WITHIN Fallout London?
I also grew up in Streatham, and I am looking forward to seeing how the place is represented. Will the old Odeon still be there? Or the huge Sainsbury's down near the common?

A beautiful creation. The scope of this endeavor reminds me so much of the total conversion of Oblivion called Nehrim.
They can't other wise bethesda would gain the rights to it and we would get another store and paid mods that break the mod lol. I'm glad bethesda is not touching it.

If you haven't yet, you need to play Nehrim's sequel, Enderal, a few other commenters have mentioned it above, but it really does warrant at least one play through.

My only hope is that the creators of the FO4 TARDIS mod which includes Cybermen and other Dr. Who enemies integrates it into Fallout London. That would be epic.

The thing I find most interesting about this mod is that it sets the point of divergence back to at least 1936, because the Crystal Palace is still standing in the Fallout universe apparently.

I remember when i first heard about this DLC being developed and my dismissive thoughts. Shame on me! This has really grown HUGE! Bethesda was smart when they decided to support this team. (How much, i have no idea, but...) This will have AVID followers that will rival MANY current game releases. I am so looking forward to this.

ESO, will you be giving us regular updates on Fallout London? Also, on the pigeon thing, I've only ever seen one dead pidgeon and that one had been killed by a murder of crows. I didn't get close enough to see if there were any gizmos inside but, hey man, it's quite possible.
I hope Fallout 5 will take place outside of US.

It's worth pointing out that there is no such thing as a "British" point of view. You'd get a different reaction from someone who is from a different part of England. Let alone from one of the other countries that are part of Britain.
Comparing a Londoner reaction to say someone from Edinburgh would be like comparing someone from New York to someone from Montreal

Ive seen a lot of dead and gangly pigeons in London tbh.
They need to include Kensington & Chelsea: Hyde Park, Royal Albert Hall, Museum of Science and Industry, Victoria & Albert Museum, Kensington Palace, Holland Park, Museum of Natural History, etc.

It's kind of insane looking at the cell counts at the start, there...
Keep in mind that Far Harbor had 937 cells and Nuka World had 516 cells... and in this, just Greenwich has 460 cells... that's almost as big as Nuka World and half the size of Far Harbor... just one area.
In total, 3764 cells in the entire Mod. That's more than the base game! (FO4 only has 2965 cells)
If they even add a lot of choices and consequences, it will be better than any Fallout Bethesda made.
Throw morality in there as well.

Very impressive of the modders to model what London will look like in a decade.
I imagine that on the coasts off the UK and Ireland various pirate factions have popped up. The isles have always been the origin of, or victim of, seaborne pirates
I've been following this for years now. Same with Fallout Nuevo Mexico
They did such an excellent job, kudos to the team. I hope they didn't make it woke, but it's their decision ultimately. They should be proud of the hard work they put into the project.
I grew up in south london lewisham and Bromley i saw so many landmarks that I recognised they look like they’ve smashed this!!! Can not wait to play it
To be fair, they haven't even started work on Fallout 5 yet (Elder Scrolls 6 is their next big project and they are still SLOWLY writing up the rest of the story for Fallout 76 as they recently released the first part of the Atlantic City story, they have the second part of the Atlantic City story for this March and then they have that mysterious Vault 63 related expansion for sometime later this year, all while they keep teasing possible Fallout 5 related stuff, like in that Fallout 76 Enclave score board they had).

I wonder if they used “Things to Come” (1936), as a reference. It’s always a favorite of mine from a H.G.Wells book and the only film based on that author’s books that the author was ever watched the filming on.

dp-27 is a russian lmg for britain the lmg with the flat disc mag would be a lewis gun and the one next to it is a bren. other english weapons would be a base of weaponry. due to proximity it would be cool if there are a few weapons based on french ones
Slight point about the weapons... the thing you pointed at is not a DP-27... it's a Lewis Gun (well, technically it's neither, but it's much more likely to be based on the Lewis Gun used by the British than the DP-27 used by the Soviets)

I really want to play this. I've been wanting a Fallout game that takes place in London
London's such a good setting for a post apocalypse exploration game, There's so much history many different buildings and space to merge a bit of fact and fiction into any narrative you can think of. Not just above the city but below it too, London sewers, the underground and the government bunkers underneath London.
i only found out about this when the released the video just before the new year, and i am 100% in, last time i played anything set in london was the game Getaway and i just loved visiting places i knew.
To support this project you should have told people to go to their TH-cam page not " like " your video... I don't know how liking your video is going to help the mod creators.
