This is the other Diavolo dev. I've noticed that the main dev, VHS has already stopped by. I was the guy that helped make ghe character more stable and less likely to break replays. Basically I'm support for time skip, so I'm glad you like the mechanic so much!
about Diavolo's King Crimson, his moveset is slow, but you don't need advantage on frames for it to land hits, you can see where an enemy will fall eventually, so you can use king crimson's attack towards that direction, and when it's about to hit the enemy's future, you skip time until that position, making the enemy land right there in front of King Crimson. It's the best way I saw someone using it, as it requires imense understanding of the game, and also a lot of prediction capacity, you need a real life Epitaph ability to land these attacks like that.
I had a hard enough time knowing how King Crimson's power works in the anime, so I was dreading figuring it out in YOMI Hustle. This video helps me understand a bit better, so thank you!
If you're a fan of the Metal Gear series, there's a modded character called the Senator, who is a direct reference to Senator Armstorong. He works as a grappler-type character who can give himself armor just by applying Nanomachines. The rest, I'll leave it to you

I wonder if someone could make a version of time erasure but instead you get two diavolos to use, and in one diavolo the enemy will not be able to know that you used time erasure and will be fighting a fake version and the other will be the real diavolo, after a period of time everything, fake damage done, damage taken, and the clone will disappear and the real diavolo will be visible and able to fight.
The character sata is a super interesting and unique mid range fighter who uses a whip, plays around tipper hitboxes, and has unorthodox but practical movement. Her comboes are just so fun to position yourself to get a tipper for more hitstun.

Something cool i noticed is that you can use your basic moves and attack the opponent while kc is barraging them and you can desummon kc at the end of the barrage and cancel into the diavolo barrage. Thought that was cool, nice vid
Btw Diavolo is so broken it can break replays, i used it against a machine main, the replay broke so bad it showed both of us standing while our health decreased, because the hp being decreased was still happening because of our inputs, but the replay didn't show the fight at all
Good video, I didn't know about End of the Line. I'm the opposite of you: almost always have King Crimson summoned during combat (mainly because I forgot to switch him out). It's attacks are slow, but they hit like a truck (especially Fracture, the downwards punch).
if you're looking for unique modded characters, I'm personally a huge fan of Bouncer, though he's a little simple so I'm not sure if he'd be good for a video.

Interesting way to make diavolo functional. Imo, id say king krimson works by letting the user know exactly what will happen for the next 10 seconds in the future as if everything were normal, then to instead let diavolo alone change his movements based off what he saw while everyone else moves in a predetermined fashion essentially unconciously so they dont remember the 10 seconsd of "skipped time". Of course this doesnt work at all within games aside from fighting bots, and it especially doesnt work in yomi, but the way its still implemented is really nicely done and honest to how crimson should work. cool.

can you maybe cover atlas next? he's a fairly technical but super fun character, his cosmic pull ability lets him pull the opponent in any direction after a fixed amount of frames go by so you can do 500 iq combos where you launch the opponent away then pull them back to continue the combo
i've had somebody boast about their DI skills when they got away from me (they had 30 ish frames until they recovered) then the cosmic pull activated and I just kept going, they were so pissed lol
it's not that it's impossible physically, it's that no sane opponent will allow you to live for so long without using meter, now tbf i don't play modded characters but so far the closes i've seen someone to 9 level was a robot with 8 levels, and i have over 250 hours of playtime so just by that you know it's a rare sight.

Nah it’s just lore accurate, diavolo got a stand user to break the replay to prevent people from learning how king crimson works

One of my favorite things to do with him is dash then time skip because it’ll teleport you extremely far in whatever direction your dash is going in

Btw last time i checked walking gives you meter so if you find yhe opportunity to do that in a game its not impossible to get 9 meter
