When you grow up with addicts as your parents you go through certain things average kids don't expirence so we're cut from a different cloth. But I feel personally that we're able to overcome almost anything because we seen and been through it all. My parents kicked their habits but struggled doing so. I'm drug and alcohol free and I didn't suffer nowhere near the trauma everyone else has, my grandparents were heavy alcoholics and constantly threw parties and I at a young age had to clean up for them and break up fights against friends and family, I watched them deteriorate over the years from complications after the fact, my grandma liver basically stopped and she would take on fluid over the years and had to have her stomach drained every 2-3 months and had to take blood thinners for the random blood clots and she quit 20 years before my grandfather died who still would drink, I decided very young that I would try my best to never have my children go through that and as far as smoking I always thought about it but being so clean I can't even be around the smoke without almost choking so that kind of worked itself out😂😂
