For an off road rig, the PW is my choice. For a do it all truck, the Tremor is a better choice. The payload on the PW is abou as much as it is on our Sienna. The Tremor doubles the PW payload yet is very capable off road.
True, but the Tremor also rides like crap daily compared to the PW. I just appreciate that Ram doesn't try to make the PW anything other than the beast it is.
Guess what, the PW can tow and haul JUST as much as a regular 2500 hd. The numbers are limited due to the disconnecting sway bar, and factory off road tires. ANY power wagon owner will tell you that the truck handles towing and hauling with EASE.
The tremor spent a lot more time on 3 wheels, but at the end of the day they both made it to the end of the trail. If ford was more competitive on price I'd consider one
Oh no, a non-powerstroke tremor 😭. I think Power Wagon still won this round in over all ease, however the option that REALLY sets apart a Tremor package, is the optional Powerstoke diesel. I, among many others, have been dreaming of a Cummins Power Wagon. I even bought the Chevy ZR2 when it first came out because of the factory front and rear lockers with the Duramax option. Although only a midsize with the 2.8 liter Duramax, the torque off road is amazing 🤩. I love the ZR2 but now need a full size for towing.
Hell no, the diesel tremor would have been all over the place offroad, it adds another 600lbs to the front axle, and the cost difference you can turbo or super charge the gas engine and get twice the hp of the diesel.
Guess what, if the power wagon had a Cummins, it would be too heavy, and ALLLLLthat awesome off-road suspension would NOT BE THERE, and it would perform just like the Tremor did..... You are clueless about trucks.
Tremor. Having had a Ford aluminum body for five years 200,000 km in Ontario and not a speck of rust. The Tremor with the aluminum body 100%. We actually own a 2020 Tremor don’t plan on doing anything crazy off-road but for the capabilities on road towing and off-road for our needs it’s a much better buy for our needs over the power waggon.
I have power wagon 260k warranty, 7 years. factory paint is guaranteed for life of the vehicle, its a 2016, and theres no body rust, just a bit on the frame. but im also in ontario, so you know about the salt thing
@@4x4OffRoadChannel Ford advertised as a limited slip front differential not a Torsen, Ford does advertise the Raptor with a Torsen tho. I have been really wanting to see someone actually open their front diff and settle it. I would love it to be a Torsen but I don’t think it is. What information do you have saying it is a Torsen ? Thanks and great video.
You either flex more or tow more. You have to pick your poison here. For me 10,500 lbs towing is plenty. I would do PW personally. But both of these trucks are stout platforms. I only wish that the PW had a Cummins option, at least even the 5.0 V8 that was offered in the Nissan.
The Superduty Tremor and the Power Wagon isn't in the same category. The Power Wagon is designed for off-road, the Tremor is designed for towing, payload and light off-roading.
Some video from the rear would have done better to show the lack of articulation in the Tremor. Rear wheel lift is more likely because engine weight keeps tge front more planted.
Power wagon definitely had better articulation, due to its suspension but I guess that's why it's also rated lower for towing and hauling. Tremor did work. But off road te wagon would outshine.
The PW honestly feels a bit pointless to me. If I'm getting a 3/4 ton I want more than 1500lbs of payload. If I'm doing offroading more than a tremor could handle, I'd get a bronco or a jeep. The tremor really is a far better all-rounder
I hate fords and that stupid ass dinging they do. I wish they would change the sound that they make when you put the key in the ignition to start it open the door. That damn sound drives me crazy.
*Ram 2500 Power Wagon or the Ford F-250 Tremor which is your pick for Off-Roading and Overlanding?*
Power wagon, because that’s what I own.😂
F-250 Tremor.
Power Wagon!
Diesel, aluminum body, carrying capacity. 35 in stock. F-250 course with tremor package.
It should be noted that this is a modified Power Wagon on (+4") 37" tires versus a stock Tremor on stock tires.

@@starmc26 practicaly, it probably can but legally it can't. 🤷♂️
@@drewwagner7985 it definitely can
Tremor is good at this. PDub is exceptional at this.
The PW dominates offroad as the Tremor still has a stiff HD truck suspension.
good stuff, you can really see the advantage of the sway bar disconnect, and articulinks
The power wagon on 37s and the tremor on 35? Running a 35/12.5/17 myself on the power wagon. Great video, keep em comin.
Man thats a tough one...lol PW of course. Smooth as butter 🧈

Biggest regret I have was getting rid of my PW, as far as trucks go.
Your channel is amazing
Straight to the point
Thank you!

I am a Ford guy just because ofvthe Power Stroke, but here it is the PW hands down. I wish it had the Cummins option...

The Dodge has a bit more articulation though I was very impressed with the Ford. I thought it would do worse against the king
We were very impressed with the Tremor. It’s great that the trucks have a Torsen differential adding to its off-road ability.

@@armedprophet3321 I caught that too with the SD Tremor. They don't bill it as a Torsen.

Шикарное видео! Даёшь ещё!!!

Great video. I can see that my factory side steps would not survive Rausch Creek lol. 35’s and Maple rock sliders before I make that trip
The articulation is so much better in the powerwagon. The tremor articulates like any other f250 stiff.
That Tremor is so long it should have 2 different state tags!

Does the PW have stock size tires like the Ford? Doesn't look like it..
Power Wagon is on 37s. Stock tires are 33s
Engine = Ford
Transmission = Ford
Towing = Ford
Payload= Ford
Reliability = Ford
Dry River bed = tie
Not bad for the Tremor not being as hardcore as the PW. Impressed. But...POWER WAGON DONT CARE!
The power wagon looks like it does way better
Please do a video showing the white GMC! Every time it was on screen I was excited to see what it looked like trying these things next to the big boys
Clearly the Tremor and Tundra are out of their league vs. the PW.
I have a sweet spot in my heart for full size pick up trucks but my wife won't let me buy one
i like this all car in video..
i no like to track not extrem.

Power wagon all day long
Ram the best of 💪
Does that Ford have rear leaf springs? Oh please, power wagon all the way?

Obviously the PW is superior, but why didn’t Ford make the 250/350 look better? It looks ugly as hell.
