Man, that’s awesome. Hearing you say “the suspension is perfect” on an F250 is pretty cool. That’s one of the things that’s kept me in my 150 for so long. Our JL is the family off road vehicle, but sometimes the wife has it - so nice to know the Tremor option won’t beat you to death like most superdutys if you have to be on the trail for a bit to get to the riding spot, etc. I’m definitely going to look into the tremor when my towing needs push me into the next size truck.
Nice! Love seeing full sized rigs off-road. I’ve got a ‘19 Ram 2500 Laramie with the Cummins. Carli Pintop 3.25” suspension with all the supporting bits, AEV wheels with 37” Nitto Ridge Grapplers and front ARB air lockers. Sadly, no rear locker offered for the 5th gens yet. Does very well off-road. Just got to be mindful of the tight areas. Carli offers a great kit for the Tremor. Your buddy would have all the clearance he needed. Keep on killing it with all the great content. Been subbed/watching for a few years. Miss the Dodgemahal, but you’re absolutely killing it with the Gladiator.
Nice vid. Not sure if your aware. I found this trick off another TH-cam vid and confirmed it works. With the limited front def, you can get it to lock by holding the brake, start to give it some gas and release the brake, front locker will engage to help when you need the fronts to lock up on demand.
Your buddy needs to learn how to use his Torsen differential. If he had left foot braked a bit, it would have locked up that front diff, and she would have climbed with no drama and no rear locker necessary. You should build one as a Ford-ma-haul.
Lot of folks say no way they would use an expensive truck like that. I take mine where I want to go, it’s a capable truck. Mines not tremor edition but plenty capable f350. Mine works in awful conditions most day. My Jeep is easier but not a good work vehicle.
Maybe you can help me with this question...... How does low speed off roading affect the diesel? Do you get a lot of regen events? The answer to this may be the determining factor in selecting my powerplant
If your gonna be off roading especially technical slow stuff get a gas engine. Not only will idling be bad for the diesel but the extra weight up front hurts bad off road and also wears out front suspension faster.
most people around here would call it that too. the tremor isn't designed for much more than what you saw here. there are other trails that would shred this truck to pieces. they're best done with short wheelbase vehicles like jeeps, broncos, 4runner etc. if you think this one mountain trail that was driven with a full size truck is all that Colorado has to offer, then you've got some serious searching to do. (not to mention any other trails in Utah, Nevada, Arizona, Mexico, California, Montana, Washington and many, many others) any wheeler worth their weight would know that this isn't as hard as it gets around here.
I agree, but then again it's a full size diesel powered pickup. (I have the gas version) It does quite well for what it is, but if I want to really go off roading, I have something that's A LOT better for it, a Polaris General 1000 XP, which isn't as good as the Polaris RZR does quite well going over rocks etc.
yeah the camera doesn't capture it its a tough road you can maybe do most in 2wd depending on weight of vehicle but that "gatekeeper" ledge is pretty epic and a lot of jeeps turn around there
8:42 looks so happy
I drove my 05 ram 3500 diesel up there 13 years ago.
This has pretty much solidified my desire to buy one of those trucks... Time to start saving.

Nice to see another Tremor owner in Colorado who wheels! These trucks are so money off road.
Didn’t even test the off-road cruise control. What an amazing ride. Thanks for sharing.
The trail control is awesome, you can set is as low 1 mph. This would of been helpful using it here.

Arb makes one for the front of the fifth gens???
The RV manufacturers should be getting bedless versions of that make some awesome off-road campers out of it. Good stuff Phil!
Spectacular scenery. The Tremor did well.
Nice. Looking forward to taking my 2023 7.3L off road eventually. Great video.
Good episode. 2017 RAM Rebel (air suspension) here, and nice to see the full size trucks featured.
We're talking new trucks here...not 5-6 year old news.
Awesome video. It’s beautiful up there for sure! Some of those switchbacks are right but the truck did awesome!
Thanks again Phil. Have a great day.
Cool, y'all were all of 55 miles from Old Hippieland. Glad you enjoyed my back yard :)
Badass Gentlemen!!! Have a Tremor on order......can't wait
I just bought a 2022 F-250 Lariat Tremor PowerStroke, can't wait to try it on a real trail like that one.
Pretty gnarly going up there without a set of spares. 😅
Cool trail. My hair also looks like that in the morning 🤣🤣🤣
Ohh we found a cabin, cool.🤷🏽♂️ I was just waiting for the horror music to start playing at that point.😂😂😂

In the rain, you got a hell of a lot better view than I did in the clouds.
Your dog was digging that waterfall big time!
Wow! What beautiful mountain views! ⛰🏔🗻🗻🏔⛰⛰
I’m curious what you dropped the tire pressure to. Great video
Ez dub for the 250!
That's too much of an expensive truck to do that in. But fuck it right, 🤣🤣👍
hahahahahaha ewe said but fuck
I have a 2024 on order, if I ever get it, I know it will be awesome!
awesome video.
FULL SIZE mob comin through!! Excuse us! Lol.. gorgeous truck man
I love my 6.7!
What an Awesome ride.
hows the bluetooth with phone calls in the cabin at interstate speeed, I want to get one as a daily driver / work truck
Love that truck color combo
Bro I got a 21 Tremor I hot shot with and love it.
Your buddy needs to learn how to use his Torsen differential. If he had left foot braked a bit, it would have locked up that front diff, and she would have climbed with no drama and no rear locker necessary.
You should build one as a Ford-ma-haul.
Also, you can put it in sand/snow mode and that will really help the front differential to transfer power.
My 2010 ford edge drove up there also.
Try using the brake and throttle to engage the front LSD.
I have 2020 fully loaded 250 tremor. Did little of road, but nothing at this scale. You got to take care of her. My is blue beauty by the way.
What trail is that?
Where is this in Colorado? I need to go.
No doubt about it , that truck is down to mob!
Well go on get! Damn I don’t think I would take my new f250 diesel off road that quick haha!
what time of year was this?!
Epic enjoyed very much
What kind of tires and rims?
What did you air down to? Awesome video!
Lingo we use in Australia for steering instructions.....left hand down or right hand down. 🤷♂️
Very impressive,
Very nice looking truck. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

That road looked scary.
Off Road 101 free lesson.

J B left his AVIATORS
Hello. Have a safe blessed day! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Awesome!! What PSI did you run on the trail?
Mi favorithe Ford 🔥🔥🔥🌲🌲🌲
With some skill a truck like this will go into some rugged places.
Is that long bed or short bed?
Short
I tried to buy one. Ford told me 10 months. Bought a GMC HD AT4 as I found a new one on a dealer lot...
Sorry guys but in Newzeland and Australia we would consider that pretty tame four wheel driving

Basically what all the lucky Australians have already had for so long solid axel and diesel Toyotas
Tremor's only come on the short 6 3/4 bed not the 8ft long bed.
35s look tiny on the Superduty. Needs 37s or 40s.
Would love ford to offer the tremor package in a regular or supercab vehicle across the board. Sick of the crewcab only vehicles ford....
Not a long bed, Ford does not make a long bed Tremor. Either way a very nice truck.
Quit talking about Rams. This is a Powerstroke homage baby.
Pretty sure thats a shortbed not a longbed
👍
Love it!
Am I stupid or does it look like most of this could’ve been done with some momentum and 2wd?
Camera never does it justice on the steepness and difficulty level. I’ve been up that road half a dozen times and no way are u doin it with a 2wd
yeah the camera doesn't capture it its a tough road you can maybe do most in 2wd depending on weight of vehicle but that "gatekeeper" ledge is pretty epic and a lot of jeeps turn around there
You have no clue that the truck has a front limited slip diff or how to use it
It's a nice and powerful truck but too heavier and long for a real off road adventurers..
🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🖐️
Be careful...blah blah blah...hoo reads signs?
Amazing is right bro 👌 👏 🙌
