    I should've waited for this before buying the xp500. Seems like Sony definitely stepped up their xp game. However, I still love my xp500. Good review as always 👍🏽. Cheers.

    I love how the Sony xv 800 sounds now. Sony just needs to get it right with they're smaller speakers cuz they're smaller speaker sound way too warm

    Before I buy any Sony speaker I have to check your reviews first. Your reviews are accurate.

    I really like the XV800, guess it will go on sale for about 450€ here, since the XP700 is about 370€ here most of the time. It can be a very good competitor to the Partybox 310, and maybe even it's successor, since the 310 is already 3 years old

    my experience is that the sony app can be a bit buggy regarding (un-)pairing multiple boxes, but it works fine when just using the buttons on the boxes (I have 3, 2 different models).

    Can you leave this speaker plugged in and not damage the battery? If it's plugged into the wall and the battery is fully charged does it bypass the battery for power or does it still run off the battery?

    • @philiplubduck6107
      @philiplubduck6107 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Don’t keep any battery plugged in all the time. Need to drain power once in a while and best to keep at 20-80% charge. Closest to 50% charge as you can for storing.

    What about XV900 vs 800? Which would you buy? 75% pool side usage, don't care about water proof rating, just sound quality. Or Party ox 310?

    • @franklingomez2169
      @franklingomez2169 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I say the XV 800. Battery has been improved as he mentioned that you can play for 10 hours with 65% volume and mega bass.

      Pick up the 310. Simply the best option. Best sound overall. Also a lot better portability with the telescope handle and more solid wheels.

    Why is the smaller X-300 boombox light reacting to loudness changes in Megabass track reviews at the 75% levels? Seems like its on and off helping the “800” sound.

    Personally I really did like the sound stage on the XP-700 I just highly dislike the amount deep bass it puts out or physicality like the 310 in other words and your saying the XV-800 is worse when it comes to that? But now I really want to see the comparison between thoes 2

    • @pixelreflectorpro

    Had it for a few days then returned. Still lacks the bass and sounds like a PA from a public swimming pool like the rest of the Sony line. But oddly it sounds fantastic when using as a sound bar. Also, it has the best Bluetooth connectivity out of all Sony and JBL partybox’s.

    I have the XV 800
    I play it when it's plugged in and charging indicator on . When the charging indicator goes off, after playing for hours, it says battery is fully charged. So, my question is that while it's plugged in and charging is completed, is it running on electric? Because while it's plugged in and playing it for 5 to 6 hours, battery remains fully charged. Please someone help me answering this question.

    The wheels would be so incredibly useless to me. I'd have to walk in a very awkward position to reach the handle. I'm 6' 3" so yeah....I hate when companies put wheels but not a handle. Like what's the point? If I get this speaker I'd get some sort of slim dolly to cart it around, the wheels are useless without a extendable handle.

    • @GYMCADDY
