There are no bad speakers, just bad prices. For example, those Amazon basics speakers for $15 sound insanely good for those money. I have never seen anything in my life sounding like that for just $15.
My Daughter have the Pebble V3 at her Chromebook and ive the Pebble Pro on my Desktop - totally fine. The Pro Sound better then the V3, thats mainly because you can throw a 30W PD Walladapter on it and that give em more Power to Boost the deeper Frequencies. Mind blown. Stereo imaging is unbeliveable, I dont feel like I need to EQ... I thought they will play great only at low volumes, but they can go extremely loud without issues. You can throw party in your house with these. I also think thay they look awesome, really fits if you have rounded edges in your furniture (table, chair).
@@MrNoipe If you buy such speakers you only buy once, you don't need to replace them in 2 years, maybe not even in 10 years. Considering that I would call them cheap. I did this mistake with bluetooth earphones - I bought like 10 pairs of $20-$30 ones in 3 year period, because one did break, one were uncomfortable, one had not enough bass etc. and I could easy pay $100 upfront for good ones. It would be cheaper at the end and I would have way better experience.
One other benefit of the Kanto ORA is that it's one of the few speakers that's still magnetically shielded. If I decide to pull the plug and get a set, it will be paired with a Sony PVM CRT for retro gaming
@@Jasper_Tech Do you happen to know of any other recent desktop speakers that happen to be magnetically shielded? Check out the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 speakers. If you have space on the floor for the subwoofer, it’s one of the best sounding sets of computer speakers that I’ve ever heard, and under $150. The mid and low bass is deep and rich, the clarity is detailed yet non fatiguing.
Great video again! I'm guessing you are talking about the ones you have tried, but I'd add the Edifier MR4 for that budget range. Really good for the price.
@crazyprayingmantis5596 - thanks for this! I'm planning on making a new video in the next few months that include the MR4, Edifiers, and the ORA 4 once it’s released.

I bought the T40 series ii back in June. Hi everyone. I'm using Hivi Swan D1100 speaker and i feel its bass is really weak. In your opinion, in 100-200$ which sub or base speaker will be best suited for this ? Thanks all
Just wanted to let you fellas know that if youre considering the T20s make sure you get a version that DOES NOT have the auto-turn-off feature. It's the most annoying thing and while the speakers have quite good performance for the price, the useless stand-by feature is quite annoying.
Nice to see the Swans! I've actually had them for like half a year now and they;re absolutely amazing. I wouldn't call the bass they produce "impressive", but it's the only non-positive thing I could say about them.
I think Presonus calls all speakers with one active side and one passive side Media Reference Monitors. Their Studio Monitors are have bi-amps in each speaker.
I have two sets of Creative Gigaworks T40 series 2 and two sets of Presonus Eris E3.5 they are both great speakers , I use the Gigaworks T40 for movies and gaming and the Presonus Eris for music
Remember folks, you can always EQ the sound to your liking. I always tune the speaker to my taste. That way it does not really matter what speakers I have, everything sounds good after the tuning. Little bit V-curve goes a long way and suddenly the stuffiness is gone and base is back and you get a clear sound from 20€ speakers like the pebble.
Why can't we have 2 front speakers that each has a dedicated tweeter, excellent midrange in the middle and the bottom speaker be a low to midrange? If i need more base, which i likely will not, i could add that later - my motherboard has an output for that. thanks looking for a 'simple' sound solution that would let me hear dialog in shows i watch on my PC. I also can't find a single 'active' center channel. I really don't want to use a DAC. Thanks again
Another to check out if on a super budget is the Edifier R12U. I have them and they are super small, 2.25" woofer. They are USB powered and I use them when traveling with the laptop. Surprisingly they image really well and sound very full. They have no low bass but that is expected for something so small.
you seem to be a good person to ask. i current have edifier 1280db's and they are.. okay. on the other hand i have a pair of beyerdynamic dt990 and i love how they sound. the edifier have 2 "problems" they sound flat and dampend compare to the beyer headphones and they are very sensetiv to positon. meaning, they dont throw a very wide cone so to speak, they dont fill the room. so what iam looking for, is a pair of speaker, that have the same or similar sound profile as the dt990 but a wide cone then the edifiers.. speakers that dont need to be perfectly centered towars you in order to sound right.. any suggestions?
Just purchased the pebble v3 thanks to you. I’m not expecting anything great, I just need some cheap audio for my pc. Trying to move away from headphones and earbuds.

Nice review, thanks for sharing. I have a pair of Audio Engine A2+ that I've paired with a Dayton Audio sub .... I love the sound, though a little $$$$. I've read some good things about the Edifier R1280T's on Amazon. $95 and has 18K reviews with 4.5 stars. Anyone had experience with these?
Glad you found it helpful! I'm working on a similar style video all about powered bookshelf speakers - be sure to subscribe if that sounds interesting! 🙂
I love my t40, but watch out, My creative speakers randomly won't turn on with sound, I have to leave something playing and then turn them off at the wall, wait till the sound starts and quickly turn them back on.... They are 5+ years old now (already replaced the power brick) Seems to be a common fault after a long time of use !
Love the creative T40s, easily one of the best sub $100 options. That said, I am surprised you ignored one of the best budget speakers on the market. I'm talking about the Edifiers. They have options in every price category, and all of them are top notch.

What's the best fully Wireless budget 2.1 Bluetooth Speakers with No Distortion? Hi. I'm looking for a fully wireless 2.1 Bluetooth speaker system for a desktop PC, friendly budget, that doesn’t require any adapters. The speakers should provide minimal distortion, ideally none at all, even at higher volumes. Can anyone suggest systems that meet this criteria? Would love to hear your experiences with good options available this year!
That Kanto Ora waveguide and woofer configuration looks HIGHLY remniscent of the JBL 3 series. Also is size the reason Jamo s80x series were not mentioned? There's a powered one I haven't tried yet
They're so similar; I don't think there is much between them from an audio quality perspective. Maybe the A2 is slightly nicer; but it's close. The ORAs are the natural upgrade to those speakers.
@Jasper_Tech thanks for the response Jasper, yeah I was debating and going back and forth the YU2G was 50 bucks cheaper but then I saw a deal I couldn't refuse for the A2+s Red for $180.00 I couldn't pass them up. Thank you for your great channel and Happy Holidays to you and the Fam.
hey I am looking to get some new speakers and I'd like to go on the high end. My motherboard comes with alc1200 audio does the audio chip on the motherboard matter? And what if you use a amp?
If you use a speaker that supports USB-C input, then your sound card does not matter. I reccomend USB-C speakers to most people since that removes the potential of cable interference. Happy to help. What’s your budget? I have not yet tried the new Adam Audio D3V, but they have a passive radiator and look really promising. They’ll be released in a few weeks (and I will be doing a review).
The Kanto TUK have been my set for a few years now. Frankly, Kanto's entire product lineup is exceptional, but I really enjoy how TUK sounds when compared to the YU series.
There’s an old saying in the engine world “there’s no replacement for displacement (engine size)”. I think the same often holds true with speakers. The YU2 sound great for what they are, however, I think the bigger Swans speakers will ultimately sound better, and you may find yourself thinking you don’t need a sub. If it were me, I’d try the Swans and if you find them lacking on bass, then add a sub!

Would have been great to include the Pioneer DM40 BT , they sound pretty decent.
creative pebble with subwoofer on my 80 cm desk are amazing, sound good, can play loud, be carefully, at very loud volume bass can't keep up.
Reallllly great vid man! This was super helpful! Thank you!
So glad you found it helpful! 👌
I have two sets of Creative Gigaworks T40 series 2 and two sets of Presonus Eris E3.5 they are both great speakers , I use the Gigaworks T40 for movies and gaming and the Presonus Eris for music
out of the eris 3.5 and gigworks t40 which would just be the better option for just casual gaming / shows / music listening
love the work bro thanks for the help
Remember folks, you can always EQ the sound to your liking.
I always tune the speaker to my taste. That way it does not really matter what speakers I have, everything sounds good after the tuning.
Little bit V-curve goes a long way and suddenly the stuffiness is gone and base is back and you get a clear sound from 20€ speakers like the pebble.
So how do we power the speakers?? I have mine setup to go from my PC to an EQ then a power amp, then out to the speakers but I get some noise.
Thanks.
Hi, do you think M-Audio speakers are any good? Thanks
how about creative t100? is this better than gigawork t40?
nice
😀
Why can't we have 2 front speakers that each has a dedicated tweeter, excellent midrange in the middle and the bottom speaker be a low to midrange? If i need more base, which i likely will not, i could add that later - my motherboard has an output for that. thanks
looking for a 'simple' sound solution that would let me hear dialog in shows i watch on my PC.
I also can't find a single 'active' center channel. I really don't want to use a DAC. Thanks again
Hmmm - I’d check out what Klipsch has to offer. The R-40PM is a good example, depending on your budget.

Another to check out if on a super budget is the Edifier R12U. I have them and they are super small, 2.25" woofer. They are USB powered and I use them when traveling with the laptop. Surprisingly they image really well and sound very full. They have no low bass but that is expected for something so small.
thanks for the great video!
you seem to be a good person to ask. i current have edifier 1280db's and they are.. okay. on the other hand i have a pair of beyerdynamic dt990 and i love how they sound. the edifier have 2 "problems" they sound flat and dampend compare to the beyer headphones and they are very sensetiv to positon. meaning, they dont throw a very wide cone so to speak, they dont fill the room. so what iam looking for, is a pair of speaker, that have the same or similar sound profile as the dt990 but a wide cone then the edifiers.. speakers that dont need to be perfectly centered towars you in order to sound right.. any suggestions?
i have an ultrawide monitor and it doesnt seem these would really work for the space that i have. are there any other option for someone like me ?
I use the ORAs on their side on the S2 stand under my monitor (which is supported by Kanto). Would this work for you?
Just purchased the pebble v3 thanks to you. I’m not expecting anything great, I just need some cheap audio for my pc. Trying to move away from headphones and earbuds.
I cant hear it because I have no speakers yet
Lol
great video!
I would like a review of the Edifier G2000 speakers for those interested in having a pair of speakers below 60 bucks (Pebble category). Nice channel though lad!
@@javierm.2808 I have the Edifier G2000. Sounds good baby sized monsters. They pack a punch. Bluetooth has good latency. Can also be vonnected thru usb or 3.5mm jack. Has 3 modes music, movies and gaming. Led color selection and modes. Can be turned off also. It has a sub out if you want more bass. For the price range and options its a real deal.
Great video thank you!
Where can I get ur wallpaper?
Jasper, what would you recommend for watching movies on my Macbook Pro at my desk? I have a 27 inch Dell monitor and I'd like a small set of speakers to use for movies. Something better than the built in speakers of my Macbook.
Great job bro 👍
Thank you 🙏
How do you think of M-audio bx3 compared to presonus eris3.5?
Yes cheap speaker are a valid category as i only need stereo speaker to run on my XP system, and already busted the bank on my gaming system.
Awesome vid, thanks for this bro
Glad you found it helpful! I'm working on a similar style video all about powered bookshelf speakers - be sure to subscribe if that sounds interesting! 🙂
Where are the Kali Audio LP-UNFs? 👀
What about audio engine A5+? Its going for $400 this cyber monday. Is it still good compared to modern speakers even after 10 years after release??
It’s a solid speaker even all these years after it’s release. For $400 that seems like a good deal
I love my t40, but watch out, My creative speakers randomly won't turn on with sound, I have to leave something playing and then turn them off at the wall, wait till the sound starts and quickly turn them back on.... They are 5+ years old now (already replaced the power brick)
Seems to be a common fault after a long time of use !
Love the creative T40s, easily one of the best sub $100 options. That said, I am surprised you ignored one of the best budget speakers on the market. I'm talking about the Edifiers. They have options in every price category, and all of them are top notch.
Just wanted to follow up on this - you're right! I should have included some edifier options. I'm making a new video about bookshelf speakers and will be sure to include them. Thanks for the constructive comment 🙏
Just so I can understand... you are looking for wireless why? What about power cables? What about speaker cable between the speakers?
@@Jasper_Tech Hi, Jasper. Want to avoid cables and amps/adaptors but same time quality sound.
That Kanto Ora waveguide and woofer configuration looks HIGHLY remniscent of the JBL 3 series. Also is size the reason Jamo s80x series were not mentioned? There's a powered one I haven't tried yet
Kanto YU2G vs Audioengine A2+= which sound better i wonder both seem great but can listen to both. If any has had a chance to hear both lmk 😅
@jeanpoma5485 nice! Let me know how you like them
hey I am looking to get some new speakers and I'd like to go on the high end. My motherboard comes with alc1200 audio does the audio chip on the motherboard matter? And what if you use a amp?
If you use a speaker that supports USB-C input, then your sound card does not matter. I reccomend USB-C speakers to most people since that removes the potential of cable interference. If you're interested in high-end stuff, check out my video on the new ADAM Audio D3V. I compare them against some really solid options.
th-cam.com/video/-lq48iRy-kI/w-d-xo.html
theres also the klipsch which all have USB (r40-pm, r50-pm, fives), elac debut connex has USB and toslink (i use this on my desk)
Great call out! I just released another video that covered the R-40PM and The Fives. 👍👍
@@Jasper_Tech eventually went for the Elac. Both great with my PC using USB and toslink. Might get a bigger one like the upcoming Kanto Ren or the Klipsch K50PM eventually.
Between the Presonus 3.5 BT and the Swan OS-10, which is better for desktop music playing from computer?
I’d go for the Swans!
hello, I have presonus 3.5 and i am consindering new and bigger ones for living room, do u know anything about the VULKKANO A5 ARC Active Speaker with 5.25 Inch Woofer? I would like to know your opinion.
Hmmm - I sadly do not know about this speaker
I have the Logitech Z625, want to go to a 2 speaker only but I'm afraid of what I will lose wihtout a subwoofer. Can you recommend something "similar"?
Happy to help. What’s your budget? I have not yet tried the new Adam Audio D3V, but they have a passive radiator and look really promising. They’ll be released in a few weeks (and I will be doing a review).
Also heard good things about the Kali LP UNF in the $300 range
How do you find the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 for $116? It goes for over $200 everywhere I look.
Are you in the US? If so, I see it form$115 right now:

What About Speakers 5.1 And 7.1 For Pc ...And Best Sound Cards? Thanx
The Kanto TUK have been my set for a few years now. Frankly, Kanto's entire product lineup is exceptional, but I really enjoy how TUK sounds when compared to the YU series.
Where would you rank the edifier 1700tb
I have not tried it, but have heard good things about its price vs performance.
Great video!!
Thank you 🙏
Does the ORA support power also through the USB-C Port?
It does not. It needs to have its own power source.
Would you consider the dayton audio m4? seems like a quality lesser known option
How would Kanto YU2 compare to Swans OS-10 in terms of sound quality, especially mids and highs since I plan to add a sub?
There’s an old saying in the engine world “there’s no replacement for displacement (engine size)”. I think the same often holds true with speakers. The YU2 sound great for what they are, however, I think the bigger Swans speakers will ultimately sound better, and you may find yourself thinking you don’t need a sub.
If it were me, I’d try the Swans and if you find them lacking on bass, then add a sub!
