    Hi @AdrianaGirdler, does it make sense to add contract details such terms and conditions, payment schedule, etc in the project proposal as part of the sign-off?

    • @AdrianaGirdler
      @AdrianaGirdler  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      A proposal that is being used as a contract/SOW should always have terms and conditions. Just remember if this is a document that everyone will see/use you will want to separate those items into two documents…it’s cleaner from a management perspective.

    I learned one new thing on this concept of deliverables.What you expect to get at the end of the project which is tangible.Sounds simple here.Question is, is this the same as measurable expected results?

    • @AdrianaGirdler
      @AdrianaGirdler  ปีที่แล้ว

      There are NOT the same but relate to each other. The deliverable, in this example, is a hardware device. The measurable expected result would be the performance values of the device. You need both to deliver at the end of the project. They go hand in hand.

    I'm new to all this. Can you discuss how the project proposal differs in neccesity from the business case and the project charter?

    • @AdrianaGirdler
      @AdrianaGirdler  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Great question. A project charter is a reference document that defines the project objectives as well as furnishing the project manager with the authority to manage the project. On the other hand, a proposal is a persuasive document that convinces the stakeholders regarding why the project should be carried out.
      Project charter outlines a high-level project description and deliverables, while Business case describes what a company is trying to get from a project in terms of return on investment, future opportunity and so on.
      I have a video on project charter, how to write one. I will leave the link here for you and hopefully this will help you as well. Thanks for watching and wishing you all the best. Cheers! th-cam.com/video/FIPeKqrvNCs/w-d-xo.html

      @AdrianaGirdler  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Leo. Thanks for letting us know. We are constantly checking the quality of our videos and we do not have this issue. The only thing I can suggest is the volume challenge may be on your end. Here are some ideas you may want to check, if you haven't already.
      1. Increase the volume on your phone or computer
      2. wear headphones
      3.ensure the volume is turned up to 100% on the actual TH-cam video. This gets missed a lot and can fix low audio
      4. try close captioning to read what I am saying. My content is educational so whether I am saying it or you are reading it you will get the info you are looking for.
      I hope this helps. Thanks for watching, cheers!
