This content is amazing , I have more questions calling for learning more.
Definitely agree with all your points. I'd be really interested and grateful to get your thoughts on some of my 'tweaks' to what you said...see below;
On the 1st slide...I always advise that clients put their ask and contact details on this slide as well...along with stuff like SEIS/EIS (I'm in the UK)
With slide 2...I always encourage quantification of the problem
Slide 4...I think the key is to drill down from the overall TAM to the SOM
Slide 5...I split traction to date and future road map into 2 seperate slides
Slide 6...100% agree with what you say about business model...but I think another slide setting fwd mkt entry/customer procurement strategy is as important
Finally I like to see a final slide on investor exit...a slide 9
Great video though!
As soon as I started watching this video I was deflated because I hate talking about this kind of subject when I’m busy trying to make my product, and when I saw a man younger than me talking about being a VC and his book I knew I hated everything about this… But by the end of the video you’ve changed my priorities completely from what appears to be very solid advice to a cranky skeptic. Good show 👍
Thanks. i found the content insightful and useful
Never heard of the Cagr stuff before!
Yeah it’s an important one ☝️
Do we put in the pitch deck how much we are asking for and how we mean to use that money?
