Cheers for this, I've been looking for "what do you need to include in a project plan?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Biycarlett Astounded Builder - (do a search on google ) ? It is an awesome one off product for discovering how to download thousands of business and project management templates without the normal expense. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my mate got cool results with it.

This video is packed with so much information! Initially, it sounds overwhelming but it really is a systematic approach to be successful.

The second step is why is the reason why I couldn't achieve anything... never did...I just started doing things randomly...which got overwhelmed when I realized there are things I hadn't considered...thank you this was helpful!

Funny storage what I was looking for in Google search was how to sign up to TH-cam to make content on TH-cam and it brought up your video instead although it was not what I was originally looking for I watched it and found it very easy to understand you don't use a lot technical words like some people do I like that you make it very easy to understand and although it's not what I was looking far I will take away some points that you med I thought it would be a nice thing to do to take a couple of minutes out of my day to write you this little review I suppose kind regards Brian

HI Adrianna, Thanks for all the videos, quick question , lets say its a constriction project, but your Background is not Constriction But IT, or Vice Versa , what should a PM do do?, did you encounter those issues ?
I run all types of projects from digital to construction to manufacturing and more. The key is to understand the framework of project management. For areas I am not experienced in I work side by side with my team to understand the lingo and what they do. My job is to pull out the key deliverables and milestones and ensure everyone is in agreement and following the plan. It always helps to have a general understanding of the sector you are leading but this can be learnt. Bring in practical standard ways of working to your PM approach and you can lead any type of project. I teach this in my online practical project management course SLAY. The link is under the video in the description section.

And, then we need help to finish the project 😱 How do you stick with it and not get detoured. Especially, when you are the boss and organized Adriana? How much of your projects do you outsource, vs plan to do yourself as such a boss lady?
Great questions! Let me do my best to answer them for you....
Outsourcing - Outsourcing your project when you're busy is a great idea but you need to be organized and share all relevant information to the person who's going to be executing it. Hence why you need a project charter.
Becoming detoured - This comes down to vision and strategy. If a project is within my vision and business strategy, then there isn't an issue with derailment because what I'm doing is aligned and getting me to my ultimate goals. If it's not aligned with what I want to do then you need to ask yourself the serious question of why you're doing it, which is why derailment can be so easy. I hope this helped you!

Project management is important for people within a corporation, but these steps are also fundamental for any individual project, whether it be something business-related, music-related, or other. Hey Rich! I'm glad you asked. This can be used for a variety of different projects, it doesn't have to be something within a corporation. These steps can be implemented when organizing an event, starting a new program, etc - whatever the project is, project management rocks! Cheers!
