One of the top shelf covers I’ve seen and listened to in a while and it’s very raw. Not to drowned out by overwhelming bass drum triggers . Keep it up man
This album is extremely under rated. Fucking amazing. A lot pplwrote it off without hearing it and they are missing out. I was flawed when i listened to it and heard prog throughout it. Danny walker really nailed it for them. Id love to hear you cover Sun of nihilty. Absoloutly love dannys playing in it. Would love to follow you on f.b dude swap drum pics/chat \m/
Suneater is a force to be reckoned with yet, many metalheads are still not aware of the splendor and sheer geniality of that album. it's yet to be understood in full but I can tell you right away - it's one of the greatest techdeath metal albums ever made.
Excellent work, Danny Walker improvised almost the entire album going off the midi drums the guitarists wrote so covering anything from this album with near album accuracy on the fills is quite impressive
"the lack of pig squeals may be a departure from their usual sound" tells me you HAVE not listened to anything after doom. Genesis, Ruination, Gloom, Demonocracy, and then Sun eater are the pinnacle of tech death imo...they immediately departed the "pig squeal" sound
This was a god tear drum cover 🤘

They haven't had pig squeals since their first EP 11 years ago.
Even so, I just haven't been able to get into them until this album. Thanks for actually reading the description though!

Dudeeee what snare is that? Awesome cover btw. So tight 🔥
I think that one was an OCDP
Great job! I think the only other JFAC song ive heard is Embedded? (Thats a song by them right?) This is alot different from that song!
+Matt Forrider Never heard it until you mentioned it. This album is actually the first Job For A Cowboy album that clicked with me.
+Bradley Chatman I dont really listen to JFAC all that much though. I only know the song from Rock Band hahaha
