I will be 67 tomorrow and I have already started looking for a van I can build out for myself for weekend trips. Thank you Ryan for the inspiration to do something that I have been thinking about for a while now.
That's real what you did asking those other campers. You were well within your right to stay there but still asked. I've been on the road for so long now it's extremely rare to encounter someone do what you did. Most people these days will pull up right next to you with not a care in the world. Respect

52 here and currently converting my little van (I'm 6'3" lol😮) to do this! Going to be a lot if lessons for sure. But have researched it for 3 months now. And Ryan's videos are most helpful imo. (Would like to eventually upgrade to his version for sure!)

Been watching since the start of Key West and it is awesome that you have your girlfriend, Noelle, with you to share the experience. Always amazed at the food you are able to cook in the van, you have a great setup!
thinking about the propane camp fire. reckon it could use some wood for extra warmth. but seems firewood is in short supply. in Australia we’re used to having an abundance of dead wood around. still nice to have some radiant heat for the cool evenings.
I am sure you already know but most campgrounds have the adapter plugs you can barrow at the office. I ended up buying my own. Definitely a good piece to have part of your kit!

Ryan, I'm a retired chef. Love your cooking. You could use 1 small spoon of tomato paste, always fry tomato paste. And a tin of whole peeled tomato, cut it up in the tin. Will be a winner combo for your recipe. And unless you have vegies on the side, always put some vegies in your meals. Frozen peas a winner for this dish.

I did Delicate Arch last year but at 5am. Sunrise from the top is absolutely PHENOMENAL! And at sunrise, theres only a minimal amount of people too.
