I gotta tell you I have been eagerly waiting for a video post to see how your trip up the Alaskan Highway has been going! Amazing drone and video coverage of the gorgeous scenery! I follow a few YT channels of people who live in BC and Alaska and it is a dream area for people who appreciate wildlife adventures as well as the climate! You seemed so stoked and refreshed for this drive Ryan! Safe travels to you and can't wait for another vlog post!!!!
Thanks for the video Ryan. I love that you are showing the country. I love all the views across the country and Canada leading up to Alaska. Again, thanks for the share.
Absolutely agree with everything you said about the unbelievably gorgeous landscape you are sharing with us. I felt my breathe actually catch in my throat when you passed by that incredibly blue water. You are making me want to follow your lead and attempt that epic journey for myself. Unfortunately, it probably will have to wait a few years, if I can do it at all… but if I cannot… I have your TH-cam videos to show me the majesty of land. Thank you Ryan, thank you so much.
Ryan, that river and the mountains is a post card setting for sure! What awesome scenery I am so jealous. Your cooking may attract unwanted critters so be careful stepping outside without looking out the windows first. Bears have excellent noses especially for a Ryan sandwich 😂
For some reason I love this video. It just seems so perfect to be in such a beautiful place and be able to indulge in your hobby of gaming. Simple, beautiful life.
AW LAWRD you got me REALLY hooked for the next vid because I wanna see you get in the river by the morning!! Everything is so beautiful out there and the drone shots are gorgeous!! Congrats for another great one Mr.!!!
3:50 Newsflash! Seasoned veteran drivers like myself abhor loud music etc while "driving" (I drive for a living and also for fun 'n' family-50+ yrs lol) so typically keep a window cracked or open "occasionally" while underway because: The ROAD is my MUSIC. Music don't LIE. Sound & smells & sight & feel must be part of the process. So for you to catch this miniscule noise demonstrates a maturity far beyond what your age group would belie as bemeaning toward the norm. In other words: GOOD CATCH DUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whether luck or your normal thing, you really nailed this along with the healthy respect aspect for further hiccups. (Yep!) Cheers!
Love your content, Ryan. Fort Nelson has a bust of Lord Admiral Horatio Nelson, 1st Viscount Nelson and he was a British flag officer in the Royal Navy, he was the saviour of Britain at the Battle of Trafalgar, where he'd, unfortunately, die whilst triumphing in victory. The greatest ever Admiral the world has seen, whilst for Cricket the score 111 is named after him. Fun fact, I drive past his old house for work :)
Ryan, theres parts available for you to cut your starlink cable so that you can put a male RJ end on each side of the cut. Then drill a hole in your van somwhere near the roof and install in a female to female RJ weather protected socket. That way when you pull up all you need to do is grab Dishy and plug it into the external side of the femal RJ socket and pop the dish on your roof. Easier setup as the inside part of the cable can always be installed inside your trim. Alternatively people are mouting flat mounts on their vans and putting them on the top permanently but IMO that doesn't give you te best coverage as the dish cannot move.
@@hdc2766 I suppose in theory you could. I imagine you might get differing speeds as you drive along. When you change direction too you might get drop outs as the dish usually has to be oriented in some direction most of the time. Can’t speak for US or Canada but here in Australia we have to basically be north/south pointing.
I have been watching your videos since you were at about 60k and your transitions have gotten soooo much better especially now that you have gotten the drone.

Hey man stay safe really appreciate everything you share with us man and all the education that comes with everything you do thanks again appreciate you !!
Awesome, love it! Looks very close to an amazing spot I found (at first I thought it was this same spot, but it's slightly different, it's probably just very very close). I had just stumbled upon it. Didn't camp, mid day, set up Starlink to catch up with things, had lunch and a beer, and just enjoyed the incredible spot. Definite highlight of my trip. Amazing.
Love the journey. And Ryan, here in the south, we say “potable” just like how you say it. Lol I’m really glad you washed the cutting board. You must’ve been reading our minds! Haha
IDK why I got so happy when I saw you had posted a new video. Lol. Love your content. From one Marylander to another, keep up the great content and safe travels.
Hi Ryan, thanks to your video, your giving me an idea for a big road trip in my own country! I live in Montreal, QC and visited BC twice, but not the Alaskian Highway. Its NOW on my list of to do things. Thanks for sharing, keep up your videos, your my number one youtuber I follow. Cheers
I like your version of potable better! Thanks so much for this videos, I'm really enjoying watching your journey. The water is that blue because of the glacier run off. It's the most beautiful milky emerald near a glacier. But you probably knew that.
Wow! Canada is absolutely beautiful! You do such a great job at capturing it on video. I am so glad I came across your channel, I’ve got friends watching & subscribed with me! Safe travels!
Great video Ryan. I came back through there 2 weeks ago. In the 10,000 miles I drove on my trip that section from Fort Nelson up to Liard River Hot Springs was the best. Your video is awesome, pictures just don’t do it justice. Happy travels!
❤ Thank you for sharing Ryan. I enjoyed it very much 👍. Always a good and fun time joining you on your journey. Aint it very cold in Alaska 🤔. Thought you needed to heat up the Van when you got there. Well, you know better I guess 😏. Safe journey my friend until next time 👋🤗❤❤
Have you ever thought of adding a magnetic bug net on your main entrance? 🙂 It might be a good addition if you frequent places that have bugs so you can always have your door open when you want. Oh! there are also ones for the driver's and passenger's door that are detachable. all you need is to roll down your windows, put it on like a glove and shut the door. 👍 It's the best and we love using it since it gives awesome ventilation in a tropical situation. Hope you consider it!
Beautiful location! I'd honestly be too scared of some wildlife meandering by. And the fact that you're sitting with your back to the door and with headphones on... 😮
i just love how ryan got to a point where to me, and most of us too, i get excited yet relieved that he has uploaded, because i actually have real content to watch. also, its great the haziness was gone when it was, in michigan, it lasted over 8 days 😅😅love the videos, they're awesome ♥
One of my favorite channels. Incredible to have the internet out in the wilderness. You have no wood?? Lol. Maybe a comment on the taste of the food, or what you'd do different next time would be an extra dimension.
Hi Ryan, love following your adventures, planning my own mini van adventure this summer using my Class B, also on a ProMaster. FYI, bad timing on this notice to you, but this just came in the mail, there is a factory recall on the 2019-2021 ProMaster van transmissions from RAM. It is just a firmware update for the PCM (power control module), and I recommend it when you get a chance. There have been some cases of the transmission (62TE) breaking down, and in the recall the parking prowl doesn't fully engage and gives way due to accumulation of clutch wear material. I noticed after a few hundred miles with the new firmware that my ProMaster shifts smoother than before, and shifts a bit less often than before too.
Great spot Ryan! Keep that bear spray on you sir, hopefully you never need it. The Rocky Mountains are amazing! Thanks for the great views bro! Have fun in that stream, it looks clean and cold.
At 9:00, that was the exact spot I was going to camp at a few weeks ago. Someone else just pulled in there when I came along (maybe you? - I was the white ambulance that almost pulled in), so I camped about ½ mile further along right before where the road crosses the bridge.
I'm an on-again off-again truck driver and starlink is great for playing with friends. Last time I was on the road I had my tower with me in a T680 with a 32" monitor mounted to the TV bracket. Played Cyberpunk by myself (including 4 hours of cyberpunk at $30/h while waiting) and then whatever my friends and I were up to for multiplayer. I find the connection can be unreliable for the first 15 minutes but once it's locked in it'll be stable for hours. I've had it set up for a 3 day weekend and never had an issue. Doesn't matter where I am, I've gamed with friends from the top of mountain passes, and even if there's a weak cell signal starlink is happy. Just uh... don't forget it's on your roof. Drive tires eat the dish like the plastic it is.
Ryan if you see this, I used to run my Starlink cable like you're doing, but I figured out it's easier to just close the cable in along the part of the door with rubber edge trim. It doesn't seem to damage the door or the cable and keeps bugs out.
You are literally ringing the dinner bell for the bear. If one wondered up on you, it would be too late by the time you see him. Be bear aware and keep those doors closed while cooking. When finished spray some bleach water around on all the surfaces.
