Big congrats on the 100k, not gonna lie, probably one of the few channels I watch that I can sit through the whole videos and enjoy all of it. Appreciate it CS
I appreciate your dedication to fishing. I’ve learned so much from you and did the same thing today. Grinding all day. Fishing is amazing. Thank you CSO
WTG turn a slow day into a good multiple specie day, I admire how you go through so much effort setting up all your gear and you can still produce so much great footage, i especially love that live scope footage. Safe Travels Clayton
Awesome video! The reality of fishing! Sometimes it pays off to move. But I’m the same when it’s slow I always second guess myself. Everyone probably does. lol
You know what is awesome in this video? It goes to show people who think if they live in Manitoba and have a livescope, they are going to catch 100 walleyes per hour. Not so much I guess. We still have to work hard in order to have a good fishing day out here in Manitoba as well. Nice work Clayton.
Awesome, this drops right as I come home from camping on th ice and fishing! Didnt get anything huge but lots of small ones and my pb for the lake i I was on.
I love your content Clayton. I'm in The Twin Cities area of Minnesota. I have been on the ice exactly twice this season. And now we are looking at possibly 50 degree weather over the next couple of weeks. I did manage to catch my personal best pike through the ice at 38 inches yesterday. But it looks like ice fishing is over in my area for this year.
Great way to spend the night cutting walleye and watching 2 CSO videos! Just got off Lake Winnipeg with the wife and 3 girls. We put a pretty good smack down on them on the East side. It has been consistently hot over there. I know you are thinking of coming up in February.
Awesome video bud! Question tho... what size treble hooks for the medium dinnerbell? Removing the barbs the hook broke, so i am looking for new treble hooks. I am wondering what size of treble for the medium tungsten bell?
Wish I coulda searched today in Ont drove sled off launch ice went from 8" to 3 so I had to walk out to fish got skunked but it was fun still always is
Had my first day where we watched walleye go around our livescope cone. At 13ft, they would go in a circle around the sonar. Some came through, but 90% went around. Was fishing in 15 ft of water on lake winnipeg.
I don't believe in that at all... The fish were on another path. IMO I actually filmed a video today and talked a little bit about it. For you to see a fish say start swimming at 60 feet and have them ALL perfectly come straight to you would never happen... The fish at some point enter your cone angle and then leave your cone angle as well. When fish are negative, you will never draw them in and have to be RIGHT on their path for them to come to you. This is all IMO
@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors every fish stopped at 13 ft exactly. When we spun the transducer they went in a circle at 13 ft. Happened at least 15 times. The fish were suspended at about 6 ft below the ice, so it wasnt due to structure. Very slow moving big fish. Only thing it could be is just the transducer pole. They would turn if we raised our hook or if we left our hook on bottom. Feel like i am turning into aaron doing scientific study! Lol
@@ReelCanuck I just don’t buy the fish going around the livescope… Fish relate to structure even when they suspend too. FYI. Don’t drink the koolaid :). Also… noise. Noise noise. Noise on the ice. Even feet shuffling is way worse than any transducer
@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors I agree with you Clayton, that why there are days when the dead stick out side far from the tent catches all the fish. Its the noise and the shadow of the tent that they avoid . Especially in shallow
We had a one week long ice season this year and it’s over just like that smh every year is getting worse and I just bought live scope smh I might have to move north
I think u jay Arron now that he is back and Carter should do a no sonar challenge for top 3 biggest fish . Can have the sonar on with camera but u can't look at them till after u edit the video I think that would be great content
Hey clay give me a buzz next time u up this way, I live in the The pas. I will fish with u any day bud if u want the company… if not I will keep watchn the vids haha
Hey Clayton, first time commenter, long time watcher. Could you name the lakes you are fishing in your videos please? Have you ever fished west central Saskatchewan for walleye? And if so, where? Thank,
Hey man. I can’t name all the names I am fishing just because in the past if draws more attention to the lake and then I end up with having nothing to fish. I do mention in some of the videos though. I really appreciate you asking in a very nice way like this though. Like I said I do mention sometimes but I can’t in every video.
@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors alright I do understand what you’re saying and I appreciate it! Any west central Sask fishing, more specifically turtle lake and surrounding area?
Always killin' it, Clayton! The best fisherman on TH-cam!
Better than Jay?
Big congrats on the 100k, not gonna lie, probably one of the few channels I watch that I can sit through the whole videos and enjoy all of it. Appreciate it CS
Clayton, to me you’re the best fisherman on TH-cam. You explain a lot in so much detail and I love it. Keep up the great videos 👍
Better than Jay? He’s better than that douche bag Jon B.

Great videos from up north! Jealous especially that rainbow day👍
That rainbow day was nuts!
Respect the grind every move requires 4 times the effort of us weekend fishers. Appreciate your work.
It’s a lot of work but it’s work I will never complain about.
Hell of a grind! You got her done!!
Big grind!

Not a bad sesh at all. Way to grind it out. Looking forward to seeing some Pike. Cheers!
Overall was a good day :)
The start of my day today looks like yours. One small pike tried well over a dozen spots. Since 8! Struggle today for sure

Saw you tuned into Nick Linders live the other day. You ever think about giving that a try on the ice? Would be sweet!
Awesome video as always brother keep up the great work on those hogs tightlines cheers
Great video MR Schick !! How do you get Finicky lake trout to bite ?

Clayton, what kind of drill and auger do you recommend? I love your video it was an awesome one.
Hat mount for your GoPro… do you poke a hole through or magnet?
Have you shown the sled set up? Is that a rod holders on the Otter rod box?
