Hello Clayton, I wish to thank you for teaching me how to catch walleye! Last winter I was very sick and finally took up my grandson’s suggestion that I watch his favourite fishing show! Well laying around the house I was able to watch all your shows that were available on you tube. Off the fishing topic for a moment I must all congratulate you on your ability to make your relationship work with Your Girlfriend Cindy’s Children!! I take my hat off to you sir!! I look forward to maybe seeing you on the water sometime. I am from southern Alberta but make trips to. My Family’s stomping grounds at Strasbourg Saskatchewan. This past summer I was able to fish for walleye on Last Mountain Lake with my cousin, it was a very successful fishing trip! Respectfully your dedication viewer! Keep up the great work! Robert Nemeth
Stay out of Illinois we had 6” a week ago and now it’s been in the upper 40s almost 50 for 5 days we are done I had 2 days to fish this year really hurts
@@JustinWatrobka-dg5ps same here in minnesota. It's nice to get a break from the brutal winters but dang man I just wanted to go ice fishing. Oh well I guess catfishing is fun to
You are so blessed with good fishing up there Clayton. Coming from Wisconsin, nobody has ever said "it's not that big, just another 40 incher.". I mean about any species. Except sturgeon.
Clayton, has anyone ever told you that you remind them of a fishing version of Brian Shaw? Wait, here me out… aside from your strong stature and you being an absolute GOAT in your field, you’re so friendly and enjoyable to watch on camera. I recently found you on TH-cam and I’m hooked. Keep up the incredible videos! Thank you 🙏
You read my comment on Ask Clayton!!! 😊 So fun watching you light up when you catch those massive lakers! Underwater footage is the best! Hitting the ice tomorrow, can’t wait!
I watch a lot of your videos and love them. I usually don't comment on them. But I have to tell you I think this is one of your best. With the camera and live scope, just awesome. Thank you so much. Stay safe and tight lines.
I have been waiting for a lake trout video for too long! I love the underwater camera footage of the lake trout. Please give us more videos like this!!!!
I love how informative you are in your videos I need to do this in my videos more yes I am steeling your ideas from your video's keep up the great work I cant wait to go after lake trout I'm in Utah I have watched every one of your lake trout videos I don't think you even understand what it would mean to us other youtubers to get a shout out from a legend like you tight lines brother
I was thinking on your last live that your interactions with your viewers was very unique and enjoyable. Thanks for the great content. I look forward to your videos
I think it’s great that you interact with your viewers! Especially since you’ve hit 100k. I understand it would be a full time job to answer everyone’s questions, so your idea of picking a few during your videos is pretty smart! I’ve been watching you for quite some time. Keep up the good work!
Love the videos, Clay! Also, I do love the ads "every 3 mins" (not even close) because I know you're getting paid for it, and you deserve it. We expect so much content for free sometimes...
I love that top down view of the camera , really shows you how they interact with the bait!!! Deadly I wish we had safe ice in the Sudbury area, itching to go 🎣
Banger video Clayton ! Thanks for keeping me happy and allowing me to get my fix without even dropping a line haha also learn a bunch. Mr 100k going up !
Awesome new video Clayton. As always the quality quantity and good old clean fun is what brings us back for more. Absolutely love the new ask Clayton addiction to the video. Such a great way to engage more viewers. My question would be this: Can we expect another game of inches series? Please tell me it’s a yes. Keep up the great work.
I really like the ask Clayton part it’s a great idea and I will be trying that in my own videos in the future. Great idea. Keep up the great work. I love your videos and I watch you all the time.
What massive fish! Thanks for the motivation Clayton. Been on the hunt for big Lakers for the last week really grinding it out as we are losing our ice quickly due to warm Temps. Hoping tomorrow is the day!
Your Lake trout videos keep popping up for me, and I'm going on my first lake trout trip this weekend. Hoping to put something on the ice! Great video!
Hey Professor Donkey, i was watching Kyle on Wisconsin Fisherman and he hooks his aqua view to his garmin. If you have one with the video input you can have live and underwater camera at the same time.. Great video Clayton. Finally got on some ice here in Michigan and was able to land some nice perch..
That new tantrum is not on the website just yet right bought some stuff last night. Another banger of a video of Clayton laker king that's who you are.
What’s up Clayton!!😎 that’s so awesome you caught them big boys on the camera! I’m so excited to watch!! Btw this is my new page I had to change the name due to copyright, thanks so much for responding in your live the other day!! You’re the coolest!😆 God bless🙏🏽
LOVE your Videos!!!!! Very educational and great content. Could you give me a few of your recommendations and time of year for a open water XXL Lake Trout designation?
Clayton, we see that you are using a trailer flasher on your jigs in this video. Can you explain the attachment method and details. Great video and was a treat to be able to see some of these big fish eat. Thanks for all you do!
First of all, thank you for the great content!! Secondly, thanks for touching on the aver media recorder. I have a small TH-cam channel and recently purchased one to record my new Garmin to add to my videos!!
Hey Clayton, I’m doing a 3 night 4 day laker trip in mid February. Right now I’m torn where to set up. 1st spot has a flat at 50’ a sharp drop to 98’ then a flat again. I’m thinking of setting up on the top of the break around that 50’ mark. The second spot is a big turn in the structure with a very steep drop off but no real flat to fish I would just be fishing the break. I’m leaning towards the flat. In this scenario what do you think you would do?
As always, great video! Love the look of the big rattlebait. I have some big rattlebaits that I need to try out for Lakers. Custom painted (I know a guy... :) ) Have you ever thought about doing a trip where you're targeting big whitefish? They are definitely a lot of fun to target through the ice, and are great fighters. Keep up the great work!
u should try the camera with a bright light shining down and see if that helps/ scares fish . I feel like it wouldn't scare them from past experiences and would make for some good video I think .
Love the new "Ask the Donk" part of the show. Always cool to see the underwater hits. How long does your set up and take down take? Keep up the great work.
Like i always said you are another level fisherman. We all just have to watch and learn. And my question would be, when we csn see a masterclas pike fishing course?
"Ask Clayton" that's awesome 🤘. It's gonna be really helpful. And maybe a tip of the day during the video. Do a "Donkey of the week comment" that would be awesome😂
Great Video - I watch many fishing videos on TH-cam and so far yours are the best I've found. I'd like to ask a couple questions about Livescope. I want to do sharpshooting for Lake Trout this summer. I have an LVS34. I'll be at Lac La Ronge and I hear they are often in 80-100 ft there. Can I still do it with an LVS34. The LVS62 is so expensive so I'd like to avoid another purchase if I can. 2nd question is about Livescope and Quickdraw - Does quickdraw use the depths from Livescope to make a map. When I watched you scan around with your LVS62 it gives a real nice view of the bottom out to 200 ft. It would be great if Quickdraw could use those depths. If not you should tell Garmin to get on adding that.
So question about targeting a new lake for lakers what are some tips that you would be willing to share to help locate fish? Like a certain depth, type of structure, etc
Why do you prefer a heavy 2oz tube head compared to a lighter 1oz head despite fishing in shallow (less than 50ft)? Do you prefer the action/fall on the heavier tube heads? Thanks
Hey Clayton just had a quick question I wanna buy a live scope soon, but I was wondering if you could make your own maps of the lake lake you can on hummingbird??????
Now that’s a rattle bait! Do you ever do any splake fishing? I have a stocked lake close to my cabin and only ever caught 1 3lber. They are all over the live imaging but have a hard time getting them to commit. Love the videos
Watching those fish eat, and their reactions to the bait, on camera is fascinating.

Really appreciate the kind words Robert!! Loved this story a lot, and so happy you got to experience what LML can be like :)
Man we need more trailer park boys references in these videos, that’s like a whole different audience to tap into 😅
I'm jealous of that ice..don't bother coming to Wisconsin
@@chrissmits3215or minnesota. The most I've seen was 12 inches and that was on a tiny lake

Great video aye !!! Will you ever go back to a flasher ?
Wondering what you think of fishing times calendars? Good fishing times or poor fishing times? Do you go by these?

What rod do you recommend for smaller lake trout that find in the lower 48 states. Like 20”-30” size
